@@claycarmine7466 I'm agreeing with him. The show knew what it was and it knew the difference between mature storytelling and being just a glorified Linkin Park music video.
Honestly Animated Sentinel Prime was such a fun character. He felt like a real military guy who, instead of serving the military like Prime, for the good of cybertron and to protect freedom, sentinel server because he wanted power and to inflict his will onto others. Honestly it would’ve been super cool to see sentinel go from a jerk with authoritarian ideals, to a true Tyrant. It would set up an awesome dynamic between him and Prime, and potentially and even cooler redemption arc afterwards. It really is a shame animated never got a fourth season
What's funny is in Decepticon Air, when the Autobots working under Sentinel are told if they don't surrender he'll be killed, he immediately orders them to *not* surrender. So a redemption arc was very possible.
Thew, biggest congratulations imaginable for getting to piss off the real Sentinel! Fantastic wordplay & attention to detail and obvious passion for TFs as usual.

0:45 This statement is so sad but so true. TFNation is literally the only ongoing Transformers convention to still be getting Animated content on a regular basis. TFCon LA in 2019 had the brief Q&A panel with a few of the big names but for the most part TFNation has gotten all the "good" stuff, depending on your definition of it (no offense to the fans who put it together, but the Animated comic they did several years back stinks and isn't satisfying to read at all).

Outstanding video! Thank you! And if you honestly haven't seen the original "The Tick," it's an absolute hoot and/or a holler. The live-action version with Patrick Warburton is fun (and annoyingly lacking in crumpets) and the live-action version with Peter Serafinowicz is a darker, grittier take which is also a blast. But the animated one is still the best, for my money.
Man, I've had this figure for quite awhile, and as a fan, I think it changed me. That chest got me to appreciate faux robot parts (did you know it was also faux in the cartoon?) and those sholder transformation probably have got me into the mass-shifting MP and 3P I love today. It may not be my favorite figure in my collection, heck, not my favorite animated figure (that would be Blurr), but in my history of collecting TF, it was a big step, even if I didn't realize at the time.
The Tick is an escaped asylum patient that convinced himself that he's a super hero, he teams up with a businessman who just quit his job to fight the goofiest supervillains ever conceived including a man who bakes evil bread, and another superhero who also is named "the tick" that goes insane after our main character steals his name. Amazon video's recent live-action reboot of the tick was quite decent. It has a different grittier flavor than the older stuff since it was parodying recent live action reboots of comics rather than silver-age comics. The original cartoon (which is available for free on youtube) holds up very well in that nothing made sense to begin with. The highlight of the series is the tick dropping goofy one liners, trying to make every little thing seem grandiose, accidentally destroying his sidekicks belongings and social life; and of course giving philosophical speeches that make no sense and go nowhere.
