The way All The Swindle Ladies' head was hanging out of Bruticursed's kneecap was horrifyingly painful. Reminds me of that bit in the Transformers: Robots in Disguise comic (not the one with Bumblebee as the leader or one with the flying shark... it was the one with both) when Devastator ripped Superion in half and you saw the screaming face of at least one of the Aerialbots.

Thew, I typed in "transformers ko bruticus" on ebay an bought an Adhoc Fighter set, and it was actually good, there was like 4 listings for it when I checked, so I'm surprised you didn't get it/notice it. The company that made it appears to be Japanese or Chinese, and they specialize in simplified, shrunken combiners.
So it seems the KOB-BOTs have not only knocked-off the RiD colors, but they've also knicked their tech specs! Each panel on the back of the box contains some Japanese text that I can only imagine was lifted directly from the Japanese "Car Robots Vuldigus Gift Set". On the off chance anyone is actually curious, here is what each one says: "STAR BRAIN" Vehicle mode: Combat Space Shuttle - Speed: Mach 20 (flight) - Weapon: Pulse Laser "AVIATION BRAIN" Vehicle mode: Combat helicopter - Speed: Mach 1 (flight) - Weapon: Hypnosis Blade "ONSHORE BRAIN" Vehicle mode: Combat buggy - Speed: 250 kph - Weapon: Jeep Gatling "STAR BRAIN???" Vehicle mode: Combat tank - Speed: 120 kph - Weapon: Tank Cannon Sadly, "ARMOAR GENERAIS" has lost most of his text, all that's left are the "Speed" and "Weapon" stat markers, and poor "STEEL HETMAN" has none at all! Oh noes!
I remember really wanting the official FOC Combaticons when they first released and being disappointed when I was never able to pick them up. Looking back on the set now, though? Yeah they're...they're not great. But hey on the...bright(?) side, the KO version still makes the official set look like a masterpiece in comparison.
Hey, not sure if you read comments, but I also have the KO red Megatron at 10:00, I went and posted on TFW2005.com and here are a couple of responses I got: It looks like a KO of Robot Masters Reverse Convoy. At least that's what the head and face remind me of. I think these have cropped up here previously and if I remember correctly they were sold as some kind of cake decoration as well as showing up in some UK pound shops. It came with a two-part shoulder cannon where the missile rack could come off for the robot to hold in its hand. I think there was another version in green and yellow and a brown and sandy one with a toothy mouth on the front of the tank which transformed a bit differently.
That red tank with the yellow head isn't Hero Megatron from G2, but is a KO Reverse Convoy/Rebirth Megatron. That yellow head was part of the cannon, while the Convoy head was in the spot where Hero Megatron's head was.
I was laughing nonstop for 5 minutes after seeing that glorious bootleg FOC Vortex face. It's so bad that i am actually tempted to buy one just for the lulz (but that probably not worth the money hahaha)

I had knockoff g1's when i was growing up. I was little and had no idea what the g1 one toys looked like so i just assumed they were original designs. They weren't that bad actually. I also had knockoff aerialbots and they were pretty crap, The kombaticons were pretty good quality and held up to my rough playing.
I actually found a copy of Birthday Quake at a comic shop the other day! I considered getting him but decided to think about it some more. I might go back and get him.
I'm sad that I now can't be the first person to use "Movor bitch, get out the way".Using the venerable old telly to smash a brute like that felt oddly poignant to me.

I think the oddly-positioned head on the 10:03 figure is caused by the "head-swap" engineering from the "Reverse Convoy" version of Hero Megatron.
The head is definitely from that retool, so I'm guessing that's what they knocked-off here.
