@@stonecodfish2365 the cheese in the crust isn’t vegan tho that’s the point I was making (it may be now I don’t know but back in 05 the cheese for the crust were basically cheese strings rolled into the crust) so it would make the whole vegan cheese moot.
If Dominos was closed, Papa Johns was closed and Pizza Hut was only place in town... id order curry
Most Dominos in the UK have only one type of base that comes in already made. There are local shops that make better pizzas than those 3.
I’d get a pizza from the local chippy named after an Italian city. They do some of the best pizzas out there. You can always personalise it to an insane degree.
When you see the “munch box” pizza box, you know it’s gonna be good

having joe review the UK versions and harry review the US versions makes more sense and is wayyy more intriguing to watch. why wasn't it done this way before?
On one hand, I wonder how much weight Harry gained on his trip to the US. On the other hand, Joe comes across as inexplicably skinny person in the world despite eating the same stuff.

Those pepperonis "Cup" in the oven because of casing used when making the pepperoni. Traditionally it's animal casing, but I wouldn't be surprised to hear it's a similar synthetic casing used. It basically cooks and browns the edges faster that most people are used to.

Funnily enough it's only the Energizer bunny in the US/Canada.

This was awesome thank you for creating this video! Also the alien looking containers the wings came in and the reason they're airtight is so that you can close them and shake them around when you get home before you eat to completely cover each Wing in the sauce. Take 'n' shake baby
Love that Harry's taste buds are changing as he gets older. Funny how that happens, which is why I always suggest people keep trying food that they used to be averse to. I've known quite a few people who've become fish lovers after hating seafood for most their lives lol.
Love how Joe was complaining about how you have to hold the pizza with the garlic knots lol. Usually you eat the knot last, at least that's how I've done it.

i find uk pizza hut to be a better sit in restaurant than take away. it's definitely better fresh rather than travelled

@@lylukk Dominos is overall better then pizza hut delivered for sure, but even better collected, also dominos toppings are much better, the best thing about pizza hut sit down is the all you can eat buffet and the pan pizza as opposed to the classic crust

Former New Yorker here and I miss Pizza Hut. I've also been to Di Fara, and lived near Lucali when it first opened and we could just drop in when we wanted. Miss that PH supreme pizza tho.

Fun fact. Taco Bell and Pizza Hut and I think also KFC maybe? Are also owned by the same company internationally. Hence a lot of the crossovers you’ll see will often tie in to more than one of those brands.

@@rossikc Its because of the lazy and entitled individuals who work for them! They expect extreme wages but don’t want to work for it, this in-return makes prices rise the quality goes down and then the exact same individuals question why.

Well, this covers some of the reasons I just don't order from Pizza Hut UK any more. The super supreme used to be a menu option in the UK until they "temporarily" simplified the menu during covid-19 lockdowns. They also used to have the Italian base which was really thin, which they took away at the same time and neither came back.
Pizza Hut UK then immediately bring out a hot honey range, including hot honey double pepperoni...
I didn't realize that Pizza Hut in the UK had a Mac and cheese pizza. The only pizza restaurant I know of that has one is Cicis.
Would definitely love to see Pizza Hut here in the US bring that UK exclusive here.

In America, all these TH-camr quote “pizza experts” only review cheese pizzas. Nobody in the world orders a cheese pizza by itself so I’m glad that you guys actually did a real life comparison instead of a pseudoscience, weirdo, nerd, dork, Internet dip-zhhit comparison. U.K. Pizza Hut used to do similar breadsticks. You used to see them in the lunchtime buffet in the ‘90’s. Unlike those,they were plain.

You can get black olives in the uk.. they’re on the supreme pizza at my local Pizza Hut down south and you can add them on any other pizza.. I’ve had them from Pizza Hut for the last 10 years 🤨.. they’re just sliced black olives.. we’ve also had crisp cup pepperoni for like a year here and if you get caramelised onions they’re white onions just caramelised I think! The rest are US exclusives though
The difference between a chicken strip and chicken tender is the cut of meat but it could also be that the place doesn’t know the difference. Chicken strips are generally breast meat cut into strips, so they will be on the dryer side and should be less expensive. Chicken tenders come from the tenderloin and is generally juicier and a little more expensive. You’re also in the UK so not sure about verbiage

My favorite pizzas at pizza hut is lots of buffalo sauce on thin crust with chicken and bacon, my other favorite is cheese stuffed ham and olive with extra sauce.

I understand that they're not in Scotland so probably don't know this but basically all UK food wars should probably add "also in Scotland you can get Irn-Bru". It was actually a bit of a culture shock leaving Scotland, even just going to England, and not being able to get Irn-Bru everywhere they sell soft drinks (don't get me wrong, I knew it wasn't popular but it hadn't sunk in). I've heard that we're basically the only country where the most popular soft drink is not a Coke product.

Ooof, my husband loves the BBQ Meat Feast and The Meaty One on BBQ base! 😂 He’s horrified haha. I always do extra triple cheese blend, pepperoni, pineapple and green chilli. The best 👌
Edit: I also really like Beyond sausage! Tastes like it has fennel or something in it. Our local PH has onion rings and fries for sides too, not sure if that’s nationwide or not 🤷♀️

i love Pizza Hut, everybody wants to talk about how they've fallen, but i dont think they have at all. if anything i think Pizza Hut charges too much compared to what people will pay nowadays for Pizza, since there are so many cheap alternatives like Domino's and Little Caesar's. but i'm ok with it, cause "Nobody Out-Pizza's The Hut!", best in the Fast Food Pizza game.

My take on Hawaiian pizza is, it’s a waste of perfectly good ha, and pineapple. Introducing the tomatoes and cheese.
I used to think why do Americans say constantly uk food has "no flavour" just like on this episode. Then after trying US equivalents and looking at the ingredient differences, the amount of preservatives, sugars and chemicals I see why they think that uk food can be bland.
There's a common theme that American fast food is very aggressively flavored, like cranking the saturation up to 150%. Maybe that's to make it more addictive but I much prefer the more delicate flavors I grew up with in the UK.
Do you guys go to each others' countries for these, or do you somehow freeze it and ship it? I've always wondered this.
