- It's a trying time right now for buffet lovers...So when I heard Pizza Hut had launched their new all-you-can-eat 'bluffet', I thought it would be remiss of me at the price of £8.50 not to take it for a spin and see just how many personal pizzas I could get through!

Q: How come you don’t get fat?
A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight. If you're interested in learning more, see the 'It Was Just A Normal Day...' video.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

Evening all! I hope you’re all having a tasty week. Tonight’s video is a slight change in flavour, if you’ll excuse the pun, but I’m often asked to ‘do a buffet video’; so when I saw Pizza Hut’s new ‘Lunchtime Bluffet’ it seemed like the perfect opportunity…with the added bonus that you don’t actually need to get your own pizza…

I had a friendly pizza eating challenge at a restaurant called Pepperoni's a long time ago with my best friend Ryan who as since passed away! He had 52 slices of pizza and I had a salad and 48 slices of pizza! We were both very hungry after completing a very challenging and a little dangerous hiking trail called the Chair in the Antelope Valley! One of the good memories of my friendship with Ryan!

This brings back memories. When I was a teenager riding BMX and everywhere else, I loved the Mr. Gattis pizza buffee. I could put away 40 slices. Kept count by leaving a corner crust on a plate. Never gained a pound. Those days are over.
If you don't eat the crust it doesn't count.
We can always bring back those days! lets go you and me to Pizza hut!

Pretty sure my Grandma used to get Margheritas sometimes when she'd take us out to Pizza Hut as a kid. It was always her favorite alcoholic drink if a place had them.

I will always remember when I was a kid and my family would go to Pizza Hut where they always had those cheap red and white table covers and those candles in the red jars. And back then I looked forward to it.
I remember going to a Pizza Hut buffet once a week with all my cousins and my grandmother back when I was a child. It was always my favorite day of the week

@@danacamino8894 We only have one Pizza Hut that offers it in my home town because there is only one eat in restaurant left. All the other 5 or 6 locations are walk-ins. There is only one Pizza Hut in my wife's hometown and that one also offer's the buffett.
I went to a Schnitzel all you can eat once, they were already pissed after ordering the third one. And they weren’t even large.
As skinny young university students, my two brothers and I were denied further pizza at the Pizza Hut buffet after consuming 85 pieces. We still had room for more 😢

Wow it's been over 10 years here in the states (alabama) that pizza hut even had an indoor area let alone the buffet. Good to see they are still available somewhere.

@alexramos7708 not really. Waitresses tend to get paid fairly by their employer instead of having to rely on customer tips to survive.

I ate 24 pieces at a Pizza Hut buffet in my youth and I couldn't move for about 6 hours once I got home. I've never tried to eat that much again.

I wish the US had the Pizza Hut buffet. I haven't even seen a Pizza Hut with a sit-down area in forever. And yeah, I think the ones you got at the end count because you get bonus minutes for the amount of time it took them to get the pizzas out to you each time.

As a kid pizza hut was always my treat day out, was my absolute fav.. I think you ate more pizza in that one bluffet visit than I did in my entire childhood!

Disagree with Terry on it being annoying though, it's pretty awesome. His whole business and brand is to impress and entertain by eating insane amounts of food, so not really sure what Terry is doing here if he doesn't like "attention seeking" eating!

Those sure looked good an that “buffet”, really something! Better than ordering a pizza with 8 slices, cause as you eat each slice the others are cooling down… So the last isn’t as fresh as the first… 😢

Pizza hut buffet was awesome in Australia in the 90s, you'd basically help yourself to much as you can eat then to the ice cream machine or jelly for dessert. The waiters and waitresses would just be for cleaning your table.

As someone who worked as Pizza Hut it takes 5-8 minutes to complete an order 100%

What I've learned from watching Beard doing these eating challenges; British people hate mushrooms, but love putting mushrooms on food items.
Must be an odd one out, I’m British and love mushrooms, honestly I’d eat them all day, my family loves mushrooms as well, my partner hates them though 😂 i think it’s the texture that puts people off

I'm British and eat mushrooms pretty much every day. Got to get that vitamin D from somewhere, and we certainly can't rely on the sun all the time!
I think Beard is in a minority. Most of us Brits love mushrooms!
The issue is that most of the time it's canned mushrooms or small mushrooms with 0 seasoning

It's strange to see a dine-in Pizza Hut like this. I hope the dine-in restaurants come back everywhere (not holding my breath on this).
I ate frequently in one of their parlors before they went full on delivery. Back then, the chain had hostesses and hosts like any fine restaurant and the restaurants actually had ambiance!
Since those golden times, they've gone mediocre and the same Pizza Hut that made some of the best pizza in town now make some of the worst. 😔

When I was a youngster here in Australia the All you can eat was available most of the day. It was served Buffet style. Meaning the staff would just serve Pizzas in the Buffet area along with Salads, Pasta, and a few other things including these Dehydrated bacon bits. I would eat about 6 pizzas to myself (usually Meat lovers or pepperoni or margarita (depending on what they laid out) supreme occasionally, ut they were not very common on the buffet. I was super skinny and when I had finished I looked like I was 5 months pregnant only for my stomach to be smooth after about 2 hours. For desert, I used to get a huge bowl of those Bacon bits, drown it in french dressing, and pig out. I cant belive Pizza hut gave us so many of the dehydrated bacon bits because to buy from a supermarket they are actually really expensive.
Oh, they have those dehydrated bacon bits at the Morrisons salad bar but when I was little and we could used to go there, I would call them cat food.😂

After having hut delivery tonight I managed 4 large sized pizza slices I'm in awe of that amount you ate, I was stuffed and that's without lunch. My 19 year old son can devour a large pizza to himself and I don't know where it goes. Way to go, it was almost never ending.

@@tiagomota4734although there are more factors, just find the average amount of Sodium, sugar and fat (saturated fat and trans-fat) of any pizza in the video and just Xs it by hoe3er much he ate. Although this will be inaccurate it’ll give you a rough idea
East Hartford Connecticut had a Pizza Hut buffet. Everything on the menu was all you can eat. It was a birthday treat
Back in high school we had a 7-footer a grade ahead of me. Back then his record was 27 pan pizza slices. Pretty impressive but slice for slice you clearly get ahead on this attempt.
Used to love the pizzahut buffet at uni. It almost felt like stealing how much we used to eat but it was no where near as much as this

we used to have all you can eat pizza hut here in OZ. Last i remember it was about 20yrs ago. These days all Pizzahut/Dominos stores are designed for takeaway only, no sit down. Gone are the stores with the old hut style roofs.

Standard thin base pizza 10” v deep pan 7” you generally get more cheese and toppings on the thin base pizza. As a student I worked at a pizza chain and chefs were told a little less cheese with deep pan.

For the record the pizza you had is called a PERSONAL PAN PIZZA. It's what they used to give us when I was a kid for the Book it program

I remember watching the Channel 4 Programme years ago called 2000000 calorie buffet and seeing you there and that's how I actually came to find your TH-cam channel. And I've loved all the videos ever since :D
The thing is you seemed so awkward on that show when you went to the buffet but you're so much more chill when you do videos yourself aha
I’ve seen the all-you-can-eat documentary that you’d been in it, recognized you right away and laughed so hard when the manager said that he should charge you for two persons😂 btw you haven’t changed much after all these years, I guess food challenges keep you young😉

I remember the sound of those red drink cups bouncing off the tiled Pizza Hut floor.
I don't go to lunch with my crew anymore at work mainly because they go a bit early but I felt terrible the few times they paid full buffet price for me to get just a singular normal plate.
I've seen entire construction sites destroying several pizzas in moments but man I just can't load myself down with all that or I end up feeling lethargic

I remember when they had this. I went in intending to try it, and then being really disappointed with the 'choice' being just pepperoni or nothing. Ended up getting their normal pizza instead. Looks like some branches had two more options which is better, but still not a spot on their normal buffet.

About 20 years ago pizza hut did an offer that was all you can eat £3 adult £1 child. It was insane. Especially since my 12yr old brother could eat and extra large on his own

Use to love going to the buffet. Loved to get the desert pizza as it was the only time I could ever get it as my parents would never order a whole desert pizza.
You should’ve left some of the empty plates behind.
So when the fresh pizzas gets to you, you can transfer then to the older plates. So at least some of the heat transfers to the “old” cold plates. And maybe transfer back.

I know this is an old video but I just had to comment that over here in the States I don't think there are many sit down pizza huts left. I used to love that lunchtime buffet back in the day! Great memories. Great video!

Ate at pizza hut the other day and felt like I didn't get my money's worth...so seeing this makes me happy. 🤣
I had the all time record with 178 pieces of pizza at Pizza Hut and this was when they still cut the medium pizzas 8 ways and not 16. I didn't try to eat fast but pulled it out within 2 hours. Which by your times is mediocre but like I said I wasn't going for speed. Based on how many pizzas that would be is 22 and a quarter medium pizzas ranging from deluxe, pepperoni, Hawaiian and 4 meat.
The whole pizza minus the outer crust make one slice for me. OH GREAT ENTERTAINING CHANEL YOU HAVE SIR!

It hasn’t been around since the dawn of time. Around 1970 when I was in high school and worked as a bag boy in a grocery store, some of us would go across the street to PH. No buffet.
I used to go to the Pizza Hut lunch buffet and loved it.
