I'm just impressed how much they both ate when visiting each others countries not only food tours but also food wars foreign exchange, thats some impressive food intake levels

If I'm correct, it's because sausages had a lot of water in them during World War 2 (or after the war?) And they "banged" when put in hot oil.
Really loving this foreign exchange series Joe and Harry really know how to entertain us with food This is the best series ever.

The "Absolute Banger" in the UK is named like that because "banger" is slang for sausage. Additionally, it was a valentines special that got extended into a permanent menu item, and its meant to be a double entendre (sausage... "banging"... get it?).
Joe’s addiction to the additives in US food does make me laugh, nothing more natural tastes good to him! it also makes me a laugh how he just says EXACTLY what he thinks whereas Harry tries to do the British thing (as a Brit I know) and be a little more polite 😂
I actually noticed this myself having pizza from an authentic pizzaria in Italy, all the ingredients you could tell were fresh and very little additives.
Tasted amazing and now I hate the stuff on the shelves and from fast food places

You basically nailed it... outside of the Indian food my mom cooked at home, I grew up on mostly processed foods. Once I moved away and began cooking for myself non-Indian stuff, I began to appreciate how much better fresh ingredients are. Now when I have processed foods, I taste the fakeness mostly in the form of absurd saltiness.
When you grow up with additives, you just get used to them. Was in Atlanta last year and when my dad and I ordered a pizza from dominos, we preferred it 100% over the ones in Europe. Especially the “cheese”.
Of course companies could dial it down on the chemicals but biologically, they’re just extra proteins and all that. Which gives it a different flavor.
My favourite two hosts on this channel always, ALWAYS keen to watch your episodes 😁
I'd love to see a video where they explore the meat/sausage production of both countries, as the difference in the meats has been a sticking point throughout this series

I used to work at a Domino's a few years ago, and we had a weird, but in my opinion quite tasty pizza called Hypnotica. It had a creme fraiche base, and was topped with spinach (under the cheese), bacon, pepperoni, beef, onions and sauerkraut. Then, after coming out of the oven it was topped with a spiral of BBQ sauce (hence the name Hypnotica).
Sounds gross.

Sounds like it's trying to be flammkuchen (topped flatbread from the French-German border). Though sauerkraut on top and BBQ sauce definitely not right for that.

I’m sure that Domino’s USED to do Cinnamon Twists (or something very similar) in the UK some years ago

So far,I've really enjoyed this portion of the series! I hope they have more episodes on the way. This is the first time I have heard of a tuna pizza😮😮and corn on a pizza😮😮. Joe is so brave!!
I always love watching these because it's interesting to see that different places around the world have different menus despite them being the same company. I also find it interesting to see what you can get in other countries versus what you can get here in the uk

I love these videos and the connection you both have, I would just prefer if Harry wouldn’t give a 10 minute monologue of tasting everything. Joe literally tastes them all within 10 seconds and gives a brash hilarious response. (This is coming from a British person too) 🤣❤

The Pan Crust comes with ~3 oz.of butter-flavored oil soaked into its underside. It ain't healthy but damn, does it taste rich! The gluten-free crust is normally pie-cut into six slices, and it is most definitely an oddly-flavored thing. I actually like it, but it's not good enough to spend the extra $1 for the obligatory small size.
I rather have ranch over this,cause ranch is always lit,but hey,y’all do y’all.
If you can get one thats cooked properly it isn't bad at all but everytime I order the pan crust its undercooked
Our crust options in the uk are so bland compared to you guys. Give me that pan crust all day.

The UK not having a decent Mexican food joint makes a lot of sense now, because I've recently discovered a vast Majority of people from the UK absolutely hate what they THINK Mexican food is.🤔

I really like these new foreign exchange food wars episodes. I love hearing Joe's reaction to some of the pizzas though. And as a fellow American, I also think tuna and corn don't belong on pizza. Ever.

I think the last Dominos I had was in February, so I’m living vicariously through this.
Key to Dominos is extra sauce and extra baked. Also add the bacon & tomato boneless wings to the pasta primavera. Super tasty.
I would love to know what the entire US order cost vs the UK as the UK is so expensive by comparison from what I have seen.
Yeah it's crazy how fast food seems to be cheaper in America, whereas healthier unprocessed food is cheaper in the UK 😅
From what I've seen pizza menu prices are two or three times as expensive in the UK, but they usually have some good coupons like BOGO or 50% off when you spend more than a certain amount, so if you're buying at least two pizzas it wouldn't be too bad.
Uk is actually cheaper when it comes to fast food 😫

In the UK it's like $20 (£25) for one "large" (about the same size as a US medium) Dominoes pizza on it's own it's insanely expensive for the commercial mass produced crap low quality pizza you get
I sometimes get the Philly Cheesesteak pizza, but w/o onions/mushrooms/peppers and extra meat. If you order online, the extra meat is free because you removed other toppings. Not sure if that happens if you order in person. Also, Joe’s wrong about the sandwiches. They’re fine (but not great). I wouldn’t say the pasta is bad either, but still just so-so like a microwave dinner.
I got diagnosed with Coeliacs 4 years ago in my 40s...you absolutely can get gluten free crust in UK Domino's as well and Harry's reaction was spot on!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Also in total agreement with Joe about tuna (or any fish for that matter!!!!) on a pizza. Love them separately....but they should NOT be combined! 🤮
The best gluten free pizza that my wife has found before, is from Tops Pizza - you get the gluten free base on the vegan pizza's, but you can swap the vegan cheese for proper stuff :D

I didn't hear a mention for either of my two favorite toppings at Domino's in the US - Salami and roasted red peppers. Those are excellent, especially when getting creative and adding them to a few other classics. I wonder if Domino's still carries those toppings.
My local Domino’ has never had salami and roasted red peppers.

I just checked my local Domino's and it's not listed as an option... 😔I worked at a Dominos from 2006-2012, Double Decadence was always my favourite crust.
Joe, don't blame us for the Tuna Supreme. It's just a take from pizza al tonno in Italy.
Ranch substituting for tomato sauce is heresy.
If you simply must have ranch on the few pizzas that can bear it, swirl over the top.
Keep the conventional sauces, be they tomato or beschamel.

I ordered a pizza in Dominos Daytona Beach and I don't know if all their pizzas were like this but it had SALT on the base. Like they scattered salt and dropped the base on it. It was so salty I actually felt sick from it.

truly bizarre moment at 6:18 where Harry saying he’s never eaten a Philadelphia cheesesteak before when we saw him try about 6 of them in the latest Food Tours which obviously was filmed subsequently but somehow uploaded first, was interrupted - and i’m not joking - by an ad for Dominos!
i work in domino’s and i find it funny how joe kept complaining about the tuna supreme because me and all of my co workers hate making it 😭

I’ve been waiting to learn more about this Tuna Pizza since I first heard about it. It lived up to my expectations. 😂
I used to work at a UK Pizza Piazza (small chain) many years ago as a weekend job while at school and one of my favourite pizzas we made there, to be honest, was tuna topped. It's not so strange when you think about a tuna melt which is tuna, cheese and toasted bread so similar to the delivery of a tuna pizza. I used to have mine with onion and sweetcorn too so Joe, bless him, would probably cross the street to avoid me😂. Love this series so much and Joe and Harry. Keep up the great work guys

I can agree with Joe on the weird Tuna and Sweetcorn obsession on Pizza's here in the UK, I'd even argue more than Pineapple, those two ingredients belong on Pizza even less.
