MMX Canvas A1 does have a notification LED near the front earpiece . But only two colors are present (Red And Green) . It is activated for messages and missed calls .!!
I have this cell phone now for at least 2 months now...but it is still fast...lag free and even though it has 1700 mah battery it works full day...even high end games like FIFA 15 and gt racing 2 works great...modern combat 5 is average but lag free. Camera is great for 5 mp....there is noise present in night photos but not that much...photos are still good quality. Front 2 mp can really works get for selfies....other than that...spherical photos and panorama view are great...I do record and play 1080p on it using MX player with hw+ decoder. So I am really happy for it...antutu benchmark is 19k something...with is really good for this budget...I am really happy with this piece

I just bought this phone, but after inserting the sim cards...i am unable to send or receive SMSs, googled it and it says that the message center number needs to be filled in, but I can not see any such option to fill in the details. Can you tell me where can i find the message center option?

Hello arnab...i tried the same query but didn't found anys olutions...in my case....there was no such problem....try this....use your sin in non android mobile and then through sms settings....change tge message centre number by calling customer Care of your operator and then use ur sim in your cell phone...

Recording and displaying are two different things you can record 1080p with this device but to watch the video which you have recorded in 1080p you'll have to view it in a device with a 1080p display.
Camera was not working because Andrion One device can't save captured pictures in inbuilt memory. You have to inser a SD card to make camera work. Please do that and let us know camera quality. And also compare all 3 android one phones together so we can decide which one is good camera and built quality wise... as specs are same in all three devices. Thanks

Nice phone and the only problem is the buttons are onscreen, and if it gets lag it is hard to go home

My Canvas A1 lags sometimes for a fraction of a second in Subway Surfer and Also while playing videos on TH-cam.
Pls check and let me know whether its just my phone or its a software issue so that I come to know whether I go for replacement.

there are doubts about the quality and durability of micromax phones. It's the first time I have opted for micromax , before this I've only used phones from Nokia and Samsung. So, I want to know if micromax phone are durable.

I had summited my Micromax mobile Model No. A117 Canvas Magnus at Lajpat nagar service center on 9.oct.2014 . Now the date is 16 feb 2015 but i didnt get my handset back from the so called ASC (area service center)
Now the water goes above the head and i m seriously feeling frustated and harrased. Also recieved few call from your so called SIC( service area incharge ) Ravi Singh Mehra Delhi and customer care , On 31 jan someone called me from micromax customer care and told his name Varun( outcalling team) and commited that i can recieved my handset in next 7 working days. It was a commitment or just a joke i cant understand till today .Now date is 16 feb and its have been alomst going to compelete five months,
Badest service i have ever seen , seriously and now from today onwards going to give bad comments , reviews on socail networking sites as well as others like Facebook , TH-cam , Twitter , and whatsapp. From last 15 days i m also in contact with the SIC and he gives various kind of execuses and now i m feeling tired from all these bullshits.
IMEI No. of my handset is (M) 91133485005618 (S) 911334850226615, so just reply me ASAP when i can collect my handset from that ASC. Even i am frustated by the ASC agents and will not going to recieved my handset there , provide the handset to my home by home delievery.

i have Micromax Unite 2. when i asked the same question " What's the weather?" it displays "Can't reach Google at the moment" Can you tell me is it something thing wrong with phone or with settings only.
Is your phone connected to internet...... If it is so then the only reason that "Can't reach Google at the moment" comes up is that your internet is slow .... Other than this it must work fine.......

here the chrome , News and weather and few apps wernt updated ! and i guess after getting a few updates on apps and after downloading a few apps it may LAG much more !
Dont think so that this will be able to give a good android experience to the android user even after getting the Android L on the DEVICE .. !! mayB they had to make it a phone with 2Gigs of ram wih an better Processor !!
