i personally oil the fretboard every couple of months, sometimes whenever i change the strings, dependant on the strings i buy. if they're elixr nano webs, they last a little longer than most strings, i keep them on for a month, 2 at most, so whenever i change those ill oil the fretboard. if they're d'addario strings, ill change maybe when i go through 2-3 sets of d'addario strings.
Everybody seems to be using mineral oil, which never dries, no matter how much or how long it is used. What about drying oils like boiled linseed or tung oils? "Hydrating" is not quite the right word for this, even if you use an oil that doesn't dry, get your wood "waterlogged" with oil? Used a light application of linseed oil, not leaving it to soak in for only a short time - it will dry reasonably quickly. You can apply more whenever needed.
Nah the guitar's oiling up rn 💀

Can you explain how the wood “resists you”? I don’t see it affecting playability unless you’re bending strings while they’re mashed to the wood 💀
Can you please do more videos on the Echo Vintage Sunburst! I wanna get one, but don’t have money 😂
