Here on TheTopher, I'm known for putting a camera on my face and driving cars. Whether it's about any of my personal cars or reviews on weekly press vehicles, the goal is to give you an idea of what a certain car is like to drive or live with. Most of my videos are filmed in POV, with my clothes on, and (for like the 5th time) with in-ear binaural audio. Which, if I haven't made it clear yet, is why you should wear headphones. Because of the whole "woah" factor. It's there, trust me. Try it, it's pretty nuts. Or don't. As long as you whitelist me on your adblocker I'm okay with whatever you do or don't do with regards to headphone usage. That is all. Oh and I guess you should also probably subscribe. I own a Mercedes, and to me, the S-class was always the top of the line when it came to interior---perfection! Not a single car could touch the complete package offered by the current S-class...until I sat in the new LS! The interior quality and fit-and-finish leagues above what current standards are in my opinion. I'm used to Mercedes' Comand system, so the setup in the LS seemed odd and not easy quick and easy to use, but I think you could get used to it until you get proficient the way I got used to my car. What's most impressive was how I fell in love with an LS500 that was in the showroom floor. I was looking at the details inside and out, and hadn't really bothered to look at the price because I was expecting it to be ~$100k. I was shocked to find out the price for it was only $88K!! Blew my mind!! I love Mercedes, but this LS will be my next car!!
You could never go wrong with this one specially if your look to own ..

@@issavibez394 Can't believe how long ago my comment written. My 2017 S550 and GLS550 were bullet proof. Had just reached over 100k miles on my S550 before someone ran a red light and it got destroyed. It was a very rare specced designo interior and exterior with rear seating package, and less than 100 models ever being shipped to North America. I waited almost 6 months trying to find another "twin" to my S550, but gave up. I'm no longer a fan of the LS500's engine, so I never cared to look at them again. I need a v8 in my large sedans. It just doesn't feel the same. You'll never replace the smoothness of a V8 with a turbo v6 in a heavy full-size luxury sedan. This led me to searching for another V8 luxury sedan. I ended up finding a mint condition certified 2015 LS460 that I bought. Have owned it now about 3 years and love it. I have put a bit over 40k miles on it, and it's now at 70k miles. No issues except for some front axle shaft balancing issues.They obviously drive different, but they are unique in their own way. I said I was never going to sell the S550, but got screwed on that. Now I'm never going to sell the LS460. They are cars worth keeping for the long haul in my opinion. My GLS has also been super reliable, and is the main family hauler. It feels like driving a tank milled out of steel, and consumes tires like one too. That's the only thing I hate about it.
You couldn't have said it better about the interior quality. This is top of the class without a doubt. The quality materials and attention to details on the Ls is unrivalled in this class. What a sublime interior, you need to see this with the two tone lighter colours configuration. It's just heavenly, looks so smooth and feels like cake. Then.we all know how smooth the ride is, there's really quite no match in the industry.

The Lexus has come up in terms of luxury and comfort as good as the Germans.
But does the Germans have the reliability of a Japanese car ?

Born Boy but German is always more solid and stable and the materials are way better but the Japanese materials are decent reliability is a strong point but overall of choose German newer audis are reliable
not Clorox but great value bleach Audis / VW will always be garbage. If you don't have quality build and reliability you have much, except a fancy name plate

This car is absolutely the best visual of luxury inside and out. I LOVE this vehicle and would have loved if they slapped an F badge on this for giggles! I will definitely have this vehicle on my cars to own when the depreciation puts it in my price point!

bauan jalal the winding road is basically his work channel for the winding road where he doesn’t talk, this channel he gives his opinions his driving and living impressions throughout the week or so that he may have the car. So to sum it up, one channel let’s the viewer get a sense of the car and the other channel gives the viewer feedback on how it is to drive and live with.

V6 Audi a8 and Mercedes S or 6 cylinder BMW 7 are all slower and less powerful then this bad boy, but they still cost more
Oh and it's definitely not smaller then short versions of these vehicles, unlike Genesis G 90 or Cadillac CT6 which aren't truly full sized

@Cool Duck Not a chance. On paper they are identical with germans, but few years of use will pass and germans won't sho paper milage and lexus will. Plus don't forget how german angines like oil. And the hybrid thing, please.

it may be better than bmw, jag or audi but s klass is the best in class. fast as ferrari, elegant as rolls royce and comfy as a yacht. all in one car
I can't stand about the backend (the trunk shape especially) of this car.
That's the one of a few "flaws" (IMO) that this car has.
I think the rear is just as gorgeous as the front for me. Those 3D tail lights are sexiness.

Exactly my problem, look at the amazing LF-FC concept and look at this, this is just lame.
The lighting on this car front and rear is top notch. Rear 3/4 view is ugly, it might as well be a Tesla. The front grille is overdone; the rest of the exterior styling doesn't show a lot of effort IMO. The interiors on the other hand are out of this world. I wish you'd filmed this in better lighting to show this one off better. This doesn't look to be the one with the crystal (?) by the door handles but the leather work still looks nice.

At least it's unique. It is their top sedan, so maybe it's ok that it's a bit extroverted in places. I'm not sold on German cars just yet. So much planned obsolecence with them, and they're priced so high in the first place - they're a double whammy on your wallet. That business ethos really rubs me the wrong way.
I’ve had the opportunity to drive car on a daily basis in traffic, highways and canyon roads. Whilst it is a head turner and very comfortable I still prefer the S class. This car gets boring really fast, the interior while giving off a great first impression becomes dull after an hour or two.
New Lexus LS 500 is amazing. But why do I feel the 2006 GS 430 V8 is more powerful in engine performance than this one!!

Patrick Bradley it's an.option on the Lc 500 I think, I have seen cameras under the side mirrors in certain markets for the Lc 500. I don't know whether it's an option or market dependent
