    Wow, that's a sweet sounding V6! Glad to see GM still going with a sonorous NA motor. Wish they offered the V6 in a less expensive trim level and/or the wagon. A manual transmission would be nice. Thanks for the video - great work as always.

    Buick has built a really compelling sport sedan that is still relatively affordable. Bonus points for having an NA V6 as well.

    Easily one of my favorite sport sedans out there! The engine just sounds way too good to be a V6 and it really pulls its own weight quite well.

      No, I haven't. Currently driving a 2015 Mustang 50th anniversary edition. However, I have driven my friends Buick Regal Sportback GS and let me tell ya, it's a blast to drive! If I had the money and garage space, I would most likely buy one of them as a daily driver.

    • @lucky1206
      @lucky1206 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LaughableXD buy the GS or a Sportback as a daily driver? That Mustang is pretty good too...but time does change and so does the handling in cars. I have a 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander GT so I might wait til I'm done paying that off before I buy this so I have car to race around and have fun in and the Outlander to go on road trips, off road, and have the space to bring friends along to places😉 I really cant wait. I checked this out at the Los Angeles Auto Show and it felt pretty comfortable..

    • @LaughableXD
      @LaughableXD 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ray A Yeah, I'd love to have a car like this for a daily driver since I've slowly been turning my mustang into a performance car. It's not the v8 GT, but the ecoboost still has a lot of space for modding and tuning. So I'd keep the mustang as my race-use car, just not my daily.

    I really wish this car was available a few months ago because I was pretty interested in it and the specs. I test drove a regular regal sportback and I was not impressed. Just felt meh, and not upscale enough. The GS seemed to offer a lot of the refinements I was looking for but i wasnt going to order a car without driving it first. I did end up ordering a 18 MKZ with the 3.0 TT AWD that you NEED to try. Hit me up if you want to do a video on it. I'm about 15 minutes away from your test spot there off 275

    It's interesting that Buick whi sells rebadged Opels (like Regal) is considered "almost premium" or even German competitor while the same cars (well, only the rebadged ones) in Europe are just popular people movers.

    • @packardcaribien
      @packardcaribien 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      This Buick GS is equivalent to the Insignia GSI - in fact, its better; GSI still has the I4, and not the 3.6 high feature V6. Except, the GSI is priced at 50,000 pounds ($63,000), while this is priced at $40,000 and most if not all are on incentive and cost a few thousand below that.
      So maybe reviewers here in the US are right to say that the interior is not at the level at the theoretical competitors (the Lexus IS or the Acura TLX (it competes with the "soft" Japanese luxury cars; Cadillac competes with the Germans). Yet it is a hell of a lot cheaper and just as good of a performer. Both of those are north of 50K with a V6.
      But it is better in almost every way than the almost as expensive, nicely trimmed but less powerful "regular cars" like the Mazda6 Signature & Camry XLE V6, and some of its more expensive "luxury" rivals like the Lincoln MKZ and the Infiniti Q70. So who cares about "almost premium," look at price and what you get for your money.

    Beautiful car with a classy and luxurious feel to it. But will this car last? I've heard and seen pretty reliable durability results and see many old couples still driving their 1999 Buick. Somehow, Buick seems to be the most reliable pick from GM.

    I'm surprised with all the customer complaints, and even just the general public, that GM still has the reverse lights turn on when unlocking and locking the doors. It confuses everyone into thinking there's someone in the car and they are wanting to back up.
    Side note, I'm so glad my GS took much longer to come in from what I was told (3 months late). I got the new XC40 instead, and it's way better than this. (Even tho I'm well aware - to all those who will want to comment - that they are not even the same type of vehicle.) Still, I'm much happier with my choice!
