Greetings from the south Okanagan once more, thanks for the video. So cool to see you and Nate doing something together, have been watching both of your channels for awhile. Neat to see the next generation of 4x4 enthusiasts enjoying the back country - as it should be. All the best to you all and Merry Christmas.
This reminds me of the 38 4x4 people stranded in Otago NZ when they went into the snow. Same formula - oversized tires on 4x4s and the idea that airing down in snow is the best option. The weight/footprint ratio is off so you are floating on the top of compacted snow. The summer tires harden like plastic, so any slope means gravity wins. You have only 30cm of clearance to a diff that catches the snow like an anchor. So any deeper snow stopped you. External snorkels freeze snow inside strangling the air to the engine. Your lead vehicle did not have Winter tires or chains so its a daisy chain of hubris.
There's a mis conception that every type of snow is the same. We were on top of 6ft of snow... If we had chains we would have never made it to that depth. Our lead vehicle has the largest all terrain tire available, and if you don't think airing down big tires is good in this type of snow... Then you've never seen this type of snow!
I like your films and I am a subscriber from the 100 day build, I understand it's entertainment and your aim was to get stuck and film the process as part of the theatre. However when you can see the base of the trees at the side of the road that ain't 6 feet is it?
Going by the sound the snow made, the size of the flakes, how the trees looked, it's stickiness to your friends winter tires that had sipes, how it melted off your tires and not his I would guess it was around 0°C and -5°C in the first day and during the storm. It added maybe 2-3 inches of snow going by your boot test and was good for making snow balls as it kept its shape due to how wet it was.
We seen you guys lined up at fredmeyer in Ellensburg when you were headwd out for this and i knew it was going to be a great video given the weather conditions and time of year you were here. Glad to see you in my area where i grew up riding and wheeling. Great video. Keep on keepin on!
Snow much fun!!!! You're right that it was a great bunch of guys just out having fun - and I'm glad we got to steal your photographer for a day - as always, much love 🤍
Love the Yeti action, i have an 87 xtra cab. This video makes me soooo happy my winter wheeling is in the desert, soooo cold looking! The rev action on the 22R makes me cringe, but it keeps on rolling!
Thank all of you for an awesome video!! So cool and fun seeing all of you together playing in the snow!! I found Outdoor Auto Nate through Dirt Lifestyle Nate. Feel free to collab anytime fellas! Thanks again for sharing the good times 🍻
Snow wheeling is a great way to enjoy winter. On the east coast when we don't get alot of snow and underneath is frozen. Enjoy snow wheeling on my quad/atv alot.
Hey that’s cool to see the video together! I’ve watched you both for years. I’m Washington born and raised but I moved to the eastern side. Plan to move back eventually.
Awesome tht you and Nate hogged up together. I have been following him to for a long time and made two of his trucks in 1/10 scale rc trucks. (Rear is to expensive due to taxes and more, and our land is flad as my behind) 😏 his tacoma and lexus (lc80). Glad you did it, enjoyed it and got well true it. Best from Denmark
looks fun! I dont mean to be that air down guy, but I recommend trying out lower PSI in areas you are comfortable with to try it out. I ran 2psi in the front 1 Psi in the back last weekend with an 84 pickup and never had any issues with no bead locks.
That's awesome confirmation. I'll give it a go next time. If the terrain is fairly flat and not off camber I'd say it would be okay. I was being a bit too cautious not having a full size matching spare. Reseating a bead on top of 6ft of snow would be a major pain lol
That looked like a great time except for winter camping in a RTT that's crazy talk. Interior camping setups and good cabin heaters are the only way for me. Then everything I own won't be frozen in the morning. My dream setup would have a wood stove in the rig.
A great collection of rigs and also great to see you back out in the woods. I mean this is an adventure channel, right? Living in NC, we occasionally get snow, but nothing like that. Yeti was born for that type of wheeling. It's interesting to see other guys that I followed for a while all in one place.
I was really hoping to see you get to 4-5psi. Even without beadlocks you can get away with it in the snow. Being so light with the clearance on the small diffs and those truxus mt’s work really well in the snow but they need to be really aired down to flex. It’s normal to be really uncomfortable with that low of air pressure though.
I certainly was being a bit too cautious. Would be better if I had a matching spare. I'll try and get down that low next time, I think it would have done significantly better!
as you know better than most , wheeling farther away from home base adds complexity to break downs. You were in great company but it’s nice being able to make it back home without wrenching. In that kind snow it’s a double edge sword. Its easier on your rig the lower the pressure but you do risk the tires
Have 93 4runner and 87 pick up both 22re and never run more than 10 psi on 35s. Go low as 2 in deep snow with regular rims these trucks are so light don't even bulge tire until below 5 psi
Or winter tires... with studs. Having huge wide summer mud tires means no weight over the tires. You can see how bad it is when they are mucking around in 30cm of snow. They understeer and this is the same in other conditions as the tires are too wide so any slope and they slide.
You should be good to go down to 4-5psi if you are mindfull of not hauling ass and turning sharp.I don't have beadlocks and run 39 Iroks at 3-4psi normally without issue.
WoW what a winter wonderland 🏔⛄ I hope to experience this nex year in Norway It looked really spectacular 🤘 Now you have experienced this, I ask you for advice My car weight 3800 kilo I have 4 wheel drive + lock 🚚 I have quite coarse knobs on my tires, my ground clearance is quite high Can I get through the snow with this tires or should I take a tired with a finer profil I would like to hear your opinion about this Have FUN and be SAFE
I would say it depends on the type of snow! If you have aggressive tires they will want to dig down, which is good up until the snow is too deep. After that, having a tire with a finer profile will compact the snow into the treads and you will float on top if you're aired down enough. Give the ones you have a go and find out!
hello greetings from Pontassieve province of Florence Italy happy new year 2025 may 2025 be better than 2024 which is passing by! (What type of tire do you have for going on snow all Terrain or mud Terrain m + s with snow flake? I have equipped my Suzuki Jimny 4x4 off-road vehicle with a 1.3 LT m13a petrol engine petrol year 2001 with mud Power ziarelli m + s tires with snow flake in size 205-70-15 retreaded I do not use winter tires and in the trunk I have a box of snow chains! and I use my Suzuki Jimny 4x4 off-road going up in the countryside and in the mountains on dirt tracks and forest tracks!)
Nice video..but frozen water in your jerrycan prevents you from having your morning coffee with all that fresh and clean snow around?? You gotta be kidding me? well , next time you know..
Russians in Siberia never take water: instead they carry a clean bucket/box type recipient for snow..amazing winter adventure you just experienced: myself I just got back from straight 650km of Saharan dune driving in Algerias Grand Erg Occidental..quite the opposite of snow..but then again a lot in common, cheers, Martin
This is the footage you got from 4wheeling in the snow? Thank goodness your wife is there to make sure she actually gets the good shots in all the other vids.
Nate has a lot of snow wheeling experience and loves the BFG KO2. It's the biggest AT tire you can get. It depends on the tire, the more grooves and sipes typically do better. Also the more you can air down.
Dude, you crushed this entire situation as usual 👊. The trip, the video and especially that thumbnail 🔥🔥🔥
Did he ever crush it! 👊🏻 that was snow good! 😂
Man, I'd LOVE to play in that powder! There simply is NOTHING like that here in Texas or anywhere close. Congrats, guys! 👏👏👏
Wow what a great compliment! Grear job on the video
Had a great time with all of you... Awesome to meet you Matt after following your Southern adventures so long.
Let's do it again my dude!

Love the diversity of all the rigs which are all capable awesome video

It was great to meet you and show you around my neck of the woods! Awesome job on the video!
Love the Yeti action, i have an 87 xtra cab. This video makes me soooo happy my winter wheeling is in the desert, soooo cold looking! The rev action on the 22R makes me cringe, but it keeps on rolling!
It definitely keeps on rolling haha.
Awesome you guys got together! We need more snow wheeling vids. Looking forward to the content this winter
If only we got more snow where we live! Maybe we'll get lucky this year.
Epic video man! I love watching all of your guys content!
Cheers from Victoria, BC!
Man I wish we had snow like that in my area. Looks like an insane amount of fun. Well done sir
Same! First time I've wheeled in snow like this.
Thank all of you for an awesome video!! So cool and fun seeing all of you together playing in the snow!! I found Outdoor Auto Nate through Dirt Lifestyle Nate. Feel free to collab anytime fellas! Thanks again for sharing the good times 🍻

Looks like a great time with good snow quality 🤘🏼
So awesome that you got to hang out with an awesome TH-cam creator. You are awesome just like him.
Snow wheeling is a great way to enjoy winter. On the east coast when we don't get alot of snow and underneath is frozen. Enjoy snow wheeling on my quad/atv alot.
It's so much fun when you can find the right conditions!
Well this is an awesome crossover I didn't expect to see! Nate is awesome and it's really cool to see the two of you collab.
Another Banger production!
Hey that’s cool to see the video together! I’ve watched you both for years. I’m Washington born and raised but I moved to the eastern side. Plan to move back eventually.
You need some spotters light facing rear on the roof of those rigs. What a game changer they are
Stoked to see this collab with Nate! Epic video and hope I get to do some wheeling like this one day!
Nate’s a great guy! We’re stoked you enjoyed the film!
Love this collab! Glad you could make it down to the states to do this.
Thanks, it was a blast!
Been following both you guys for a long time. Luv the collab
Best crossover I've watched since the Beverly Hillbillies visited Petticoat Junction.
Bulleit👍🏽
Great collab. Loving that all these channels got together.

Wow, the view at 27:31 is incredible 😍
Thursday Night Drop + Snow + YT Guest! Thursday Night == Best Night Much Love From New England ❤

You definitely put all the squirrels in that 22re to work! Thanks for another fun video!
Love it... "Canadia!"
Wow, that was so so fun! The Yeti did really well 😁❤️❤️❤️

Super fun episode. Love the Yeti.

Amazing collab I have been waiting for this !!
great video, thanks

Canadian breakfast! Lol it’s noon somewhere ya! The yeti goes dude love it!
It's true, it's always noon somewhere!
My day is made
Looks like ya'll had a good time. 👍
It was definitely an adventure!
Just frickin deadly
love it! great video.
Looked like a lot of fun. Except the snow, I’m from Arizona!😊
Okanagan has some decent snow
That looked like a great time except for winter camping in a RTT that's crazy talk. Interior camping setups and good cabin heaters are the only way for me. Then everything I own won't be frozen in the morning. My dream setup would have a wood stove in the rig.
What is this?! A crossover episode?!
Happy to see this combo of creators!
look at that , 3 of my fav You Tubers ( you, Nate and even Will lol ). Dude, you got 18 days to hit that 15k subs !!!
This was really enjoyable to watch. Thanks for sharing this adventure!
That was Epic with a cup coffee in my warm house. Now my bones hurt😅
😂

I highly recommend turbo K swapping your extra cab Yota. It is so much more fun! A set of FJ80 axles make it bomb proof.
I've seen a few online, and they rip! I'd probably do a turbo 2 or 3rz before that though.
Epic perspective

Fun trip. It was great to meet you and hang for a few days.
Dude that’s awesome! What a crew!
This collab was long overdue
I have that exact same key copy for my 85 yota
Have 93 4runner and 87 pick up both 22re and never run more than 10 psi on 35s. Go low as 2 in deep snow with regular rims these trucks are so light don't even bulge tire until below 5 psi
to cool mate!!!
2 of my favorite channels collide! its a good day!! 👍🤙🤘✊️
the struggles of an old yota front windshield fogging up. 😂 IYKYK
Question. Why did you not put chains? On the lead vehicle at least?

This is awesome! I’d love to be able to go wheeling with you some day, but my 4Runner is stock right now
How'd you feel your tires did compared to everyone else ATs?
Two amazing channels collide 💪😎🤘
You should be good to go down to 4-5psi if you are mindfull of not hauling ass and turning sharp.I don't have beadlocks and run 39 Iroks at 3-4psi normally without issue.
We run 5 psi in both my brother and my 85 4runner's 35/12.5R15s on 15x8 steel wheels.
DIY gang all day!!!!
RAD EPISODE DUDE!
What engine is that Land Rover running? I assume not their own garbage?
Factory v8 with a million miles
In which country in the world is this place? 🤩
Rad rigs! Rad channels!
i hated my swampers in the snow bias ply tsl
Yeah I don't think traditional swampers do well in snow. These Truxus have always impressed me.
WoW what a winter wonderland 🏔⛄
I hope to experience this nex year in Norway
It looked really spectacular 🤘
Now you have experienced this, I ask you for advice
My car weight 3800 kilo I have 4 wheel drive + lock 🚚
I have quite coarse knobs on my tires, my ground clearance is quite high
Can I get through the snow with this tires or should I take a tired with a finer profil

@@ToyotaWorldRunners Thanks for the advice 👍👍

Land Rover with electrical/ light issues. Shocking. 😂
What is the song at 1:30 ???

Not trying to sound like an expert or talking down on anyone but 90% of the times when you turn your wheel at max you wont go through
This is fairly accurate.

Epic !
You guys ever get caught in a REAL blizzard I can see the whining and crying being off the chart!
🫵🏻 🥶 👍🏻
You guys are bad a$$, that’s some pretty sketch snow wheeling!
This is the footage you got from 4wheeling in the snow? Thank goodness your wife is there to make sure she actually gets the good shots in all the other vids.
Which tire brand/ model appeared to do better in such deep snow? Are AT or MUD type prefered over a true snow tire? ❄️🏔
Nate has a lot of snow wheeling experience and loves the BFG KO2. It's the biggest AT tire you can get. It depends on the tire, the more grooves and sipes typically do better. Also the more you can air down.
