      Surely simpler. No battery and E start stuff. Less wires and stuff to worry about

    Good solid video like all of your videos. A lot of common sense tips to help us home mechanics too.

    Hey. Awesome video. I have a question. How did you know which Piston size to buy before you looked at the cylinder?
    I'm about to replace my first piston on my two stroke and they come in A, B, C and D measures, thought I would have to measure the inner bore of the cylinder to know which piston to buy.

    • @UpAllNight91
      @UpAllNight91  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hello. On this RMZ there is no A or B piston size and its a OEM cylinder with OEM plating so I knew it would just need a OEM size piston. On your 2 stroke YZ with a A,B,C,D size cylinders I would match the piston with the cylinder size thats marked on the back side of the cylinder if using a stock type piston. The difference from A to D is so small but its best to match piston with cylinder. I actually put together a video covering this if you are interested here is a link th-cam.com/video/sAeSBuNQILY/w-d-xo.html

    I'm rebuilding an 2024 engine (complete top end), backwards oil filter and cylinder head, camshaft, cylinder, and piston are gone!!......a 2017 cylinder head with 2017 camshafts will fit my 2024 engine?

    • @UpAllNight91
      @UpAllNight91  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello. I cant say for sure. But On partzilla web site you can look up the OEM part and then click on fitment and see what all years that part has the same part number for. The head has the same part number from 2018 to 2024. And the head gasket from like 2010 to 2024. The head and cams from a 2017 might fit but it looks like the part numbers are different so they could be a little different, even if they do fit and work

      Its not very much. But its there, and with all the left and right and swivel it has its surely showing its about time. I will try to show more in part 2 when I remove it.
