Hands-down, the best diagnostic video ever!!! I wish there was more of this throughout the different manufacturers, especially for EFI bikes, as these first generation fuel injected bikes, start to age. This is going to become a very common thing to do, and there’s not a lot of information out there.
Thanks! sometimes these video dont get a lot of views early on. But as you mentioned I'm pretty sure down the road these will go on to help a lot of people when these bikes become very old and the info on them becomes even harder to find. I'm hoping to get a lot more of these type of videos in as these type of jobs come through.
Hey man love your videos you help me and my son a lot we looked up how to do the top end on his 2016 fc250 and your video helps so much man. Also I accidentally put in the sir clip wrong and it fell out when the bike was running and we just got it out today and now we’re putting the bike back together but THANK YOU SO MUCH BROTHER
Thankss man! Bummer the circlip came out. Hopefully it didnt damage anything. I will get the requested circlip video up as soon as I have a few spare minutes in the shop.
the rubber fuel pump foot can be bought on its own at local auto part stores . take the pump housing and pump with you, but its a pretty standard part. think it comes with the line and terminal interconnectors, should be like $9 or so .
Excellent as always brother 👍 I know we have had this conversation before but man these things remind me more and more of the bull shit I deal with on today's cars hahah
LoL right!. I just had a check engine light come on on my mustang. P2626. A upstream o2. I swapped them bank to bank and it moved to the other bank. So its surely just a bad o2. They are only 3 month old. But I do have long tubes so I hope this doesnt become a common issue lol
@UpAllNight91 man idk what it is about the 5.0 motor they are excellent engines by the way and the mustangs are my favorite car I have had many mustangs but anyways they always have o2 sensor going bad even on the f150 I see them all the time. Not every 3 months but that might also be China to lol today's parts are garbage oem stuff is a hair better but still junky if it comes on agin in a few months may be the long tube headers messing with them there should also be tunes u can up load to delete the rear 02 sensors as well
@@TimmyStasny-ow3hl Yeah. I used Motorcraft O2's. The original set where doing fine and lasted well for the first year I had the car. Then I tossed in a new set and the bank 1 only lasted 3 month. For now I tossed back in the original one till I get another new one. I think they have like a 1 year warranty so I will check into that. As you said I do know they are known to get O2 failures, especially with long tube. The car does have a tune and the tuner (AED) does a good job of tuning it in a fashion that the rear o2's can stay in place and working but wont kick a CEL due to not having cats. He claims its important on the coyote to keep the rear O2's in place because the PCM will often compare between the upstream and downstream to make minor calibrations or corrections to the upstream widebands since they can drift off calibration as they age.
@UpAllNight91 yea definitely listen to him for sure I am not a performance guy lol I work on factory cars I don't do any performance work but the mustangs are surly awsome cars man and fairly simple to work on compared to other performance cars good cir clip video by the way I watched it to I've done a few top ends but figure hey u can always learn something and sure enough I did definitely have learned some mistakes I've made luckily I haven't had any come out
@@TimmyStasny-ow3hl Nice! Glad to hear you enjoyed the video. Yeah the Coyotes are surely cool motors and like you said fairly easy to work on with lots of room under the hood and around the transmission. But holy cow have these newer cars gone crazy with all the electronics lol. Make my 1996 Mustang seem super simple and I remember back in the day that seemed high tech lol. I have new wide bands upstreams coming in today. Hoping this set give me a good lifespan.
Love watching these diagnosis videos. Probably a dumb question an not questioning your knowledge by any means but did you take that cap off the gas cap vent. Almost acting like it vapor locked.
Thanks! When I was flipping the tank around to check the pump fuel would flow out of the gas cap vent so it seems to be venting well. But that is a good thing to check and probably should have included that in the video. Because I have surely seen blocked gas cap vents cause problems before.

Excellent work, brother!
Thanks Patrick! How's Tampa on Sunday sound?
that chain is tight!!
Now that you mention it, it sure looks tight. He brought me a box of parts to install on the bike including sprockets and stuff
What an Odyssey that repair job was.
Hope Beavis is doing well.
For sure. This is a tougher one. Electrical can be tricky. We are praying for Beavis! Love that little guy!

I wish that lived in Florida because we would be track buddies. A couple of older guys tearing up the track.
Right! Making these kids earn it! 😆
