    absolutely loving your videos man! you could watch these while your literally rebuilding your bike and just follow everything you do step by step , i have a 22 yz250f and just got done watching your rebuild video on one, and ill defiantly be using your video if and when i need to do a top end rebuild , keep up the great work !

      Thanks! Funny you say that. I had a KX450 I was doing a top end on a few months ago. It was one of them days that I wanted things to come easy. I popped in the video where I did a KX450 top end and followed it step by step. It was nice I didnt even have to think about "whats next". I got through that top end job in like half the time it normally takes lol.

    Do u know why I’m canada/usa Yamaha uses a 40 pilot jet and in other countries a 45?

      I dont know why but I'm assuming they jet them stock to how that regions fuel is blended. They do try to set them up where people can buy them and run them on their areas pump fuel is no issues.

      Surely if its the intake yes. If its the exhaust its surely a hair too loose too.

      Also I have a questions do you want to be in the middle of the requirements for the valve specs so say I need to be between .008 and .009 if its .007 it’s perfect?

      @@husq46 Middle is maybe best. But can go on the looser side for less valve overlap and better bottom power and on the tighter end for more valve overlap and more top end if you want

    Why do bikes run leaner when cold? And I find the longer they sit up to about a week they run really lean when cold only cold tho

    • @UpAllNight91
      @UpAllNight91  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Gas motors in general need to be run richer when cold. This is what a choke does on carburetor motors. It richens the mixture. On FI motors its done in the tune.

      @@ShamusMacdonald-k5o Fuel doesnt burn in a liquid form. It needs to be turned into a vapor to burn. A hot motor turns fuel into vapor easliy. A cold motor does not so more fuel needs to be run into the motor to make the same amount of vapors till the motor is warmed up.

      @@UpAllNight91 when your free reving a bike just on the stand do you find once u rev it to high rpm and then go to like a quarter throttle right after because the rpm’s are so high it might sound slightly lean even though it’s just because you have motor at high rpm at low throttle ?
