Spent a little more time getting creative with this one. Let me know if you like this style of video, it was a ton of fun to produce.
Did a great job my guy! Keep up the good work!
I like this a lot better than a list video done over generic b roll.
Really cool! Like the style and different subject that no one is thinking about…until they have too.
Absolutely!
Keep on Mr Spite 🤘💀
I personally think chaining a Pitbull or Rottweiler to the frame is the most effective deterrent. Angry Chihuahua if you're on a budget.
😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Chihuahua is better you can easily put in the backpack of the motorcycle and use it whenever
I'm the type of person that never finishes anything. I watched this whole video. Perfect length, good editing, valuable message. This is a keeper.
One for the short attention spans 😂
@@spitescorner His bike must have been stolen like 3 times. He's paying attention now. Hey Orange, spray your bike Fuchsia. Just swallow your pride and roll with the best security system this world has to offer! Just make sure you finish the paintjob for the full 100% or else it doesn't work though. You don't need any locks i can almost guarantee that.
@@LenTheFrisian once the bike has been gutted and every part sold, your fushia fairings don't matter 😰
So police dnt care about m bikes in us too .uk same
just wanted to reply coz we have the same avatar! Take care mate.
I caught someone trying to steal my bike earlier this year. He didn't like it too well when he almost got shot. You know that criminals are less likely to reoffend after being shot
good to know
Almost got shot?
@@obeii1805 No. Almost got sold into slavery
Caught someone in my garden looking through my stuff they didn’t like it when I told them to take there bag off and looked to see if they have any valuables 😂

Great job on this one: very well produced, and very entertaining. I got serious F9 vibes from it, and that's definitely a compliment :)
Cant wait for the F9+Spite collab.
Funny you say that! I woke up to the notification and thought it was for fortnine.
Even the SC logo looks similar to the F9 logo. Not the worst inspiration Spite could find honestly 😅
Opening sequence is definitely F9- inspired : )
I was literally going to post the same comment! Very nice! Production quality bump!
Ive had 3 motorbikes stolen, 2 were tied to a fence with chains and a disk lock and third was the same but to a lampost, since then with bike #4, I now have 3 disk locks on, an anti grind chain that goes through my front forks linking it to the lampost and an oxford beast lock and chain locking up the rear wheel to the frame and have a tracker/cover, yet everyday I still wakeup and worry for my bike 😂
That’s crazy. I also have had 4 bikes and never had one stolen.
I’m just doing the research now, and buying a litelock X3 D-lock, two Oxford disc lock alarms, and a 5‘ 12 mm chain. I’m also going to use a cover.
Bro just move where the fuck you livin
Oh man. I feel sorry to share this but here in Türkiye ,some thieves got rounded up recently and they found jammers in their backpacks. They only got caught because the mechanic who was part of the gang, installed some parts of a bike to a friend of a victim😅. Law enforcements go crazy on grand theft auto but they sit and scratch their arses for motorcycle theft smh
@denizkizilates3063 yeah I've seen some internal alarms lately that can't be jammed etc and just go crazy from movement, tempted to get one, £20 for my bike to scream when moved 😂
I used to have a rotor lock. The thief tried to drill thru the lock but ended up breaking his drill. lol But I have to pay hundred bucks to ask a locksmith to unlock my lock since my lock was completely damged.
I would say the cover is less about deterring lazy thieves and more about deterring thieves conscious enough to realize that pulling up a cover to check someone else’s property is extremely suspicious.
Edit: also another easy way to signal “my bike has a disc lock/chain on it” is to use reminder cables, especially neon bright cables running right up to the handlebar. Good reminder to take it off before you ride, good signal to a thief to move on before they mess with the fork lock.
Reminder cables?
I use a cover that clips around each tire, then I lock both wheels , my bike is over 700lbs so no one will be picking it up, the bike is keyless entry with a built in alarm, parked right in front of the camera next to bedroom! If you manage to get through all that and still want to steal my motorcycle, I have my buddy Nine Millie and his 12 friends.. if it happens and I’m not around then I have full coverage insurance lol .
Dude, the choreography in this video, the staging and lighting and use of flyover shots... This kind of work elevates your content to another level.
I think you mean cinematography..? Choreography is like dance moves hahah
@@SB-or5mj yeah i wasn't totally sure if i applied the word right. Cinematography has to do with the behavior of the camera, the shot angles, transitions from scene to scene... Whereas yeah, while choreography is usually associated with dance, i think it can also more generally refer to how someone moves during some kind of production. Maybe "staging" would have been a better word.
In any event, both the cinematography AND Spite's movements, gestures, etc are a step up, and it really elevates the video.
Fantastic production. The quality reminds me of Fortnine, but with your own unique style, delivery, humor, etc. Definitely a thumbs up.
even the logo lol, very similar but a little twist
this is the ultimate win for me because now i basically have a duplicate of my favorite channel!!
I agree. I instantly thought fortnine inspired. I also think fortnine is one of the best if not the best motorcycle content on TH-cam. If spite carries on this way hell be right up there!
When l lived in a apartment l put a big eye bolt in a 5 gallon bucket and filled it with concrete. It weighed 80lbs and l chained my motorcycle to it. It made moving the motorcycle a hassle and worked as a deterrent.
That's actually brilliant
Can you explain how you did this? Did you put in the bottom and concrete half the chain in it?
@@JustWrightHD You need a 5/8"X 12" eye bolt. Put a large washer with jam nuts on the threaded end. Suspend the assembled eye bolt with a stick into the center of the bucket placing the stick across the rim of the bucket. Pour cement into the bucket taking care to keep the eye bolt centered in the bucket as you pour. If you don't have a hand cart to move the completed anchor pour the cement in the location where you intend to use it. Buy a theft proof chain or cable to attach your motorcycle to eye bolt in the bucket. Thief's normally steal motorcycles by lifting them into a pickup. The bucket weighs close to 100lbs and will make it harder to quickly steal bike by lifting it, or rolling it away. It's not fool proof, but it is better than nothing.
I'm confused. Couldn't they cut the chain?
@@Vynzent well like OP said, it acts as a pretty decent deterrent
It hurts me that the cover you used is the exact same cover that was on my CRF300L when they stole it. They cut that front strap and just picked it up and took it. I didn’t have a tracker on it.
One thing I’d add to the video: beware of your surroundings. People are watching you come and go on your bike. If it’s under a cover, someone nearby is probably the one who stole it. The thieves who stole my CRF moved over two bikes to get to mine. They knew what it was.
Interesting video, to protect my bike i do the following - 22mm chain with large lock, 16mm chain with alarm lock and ground anchor, steering lock, datatag and a tracker. I also sleep in the front bedroom which overlooks my drive so i would hear if the alarm went off. I live about 100metres from a police station. I keep a bb rifle and baseball next to my bed. Getting a German Shepherd too soon for added security. Also have cctv with alarm and voice ability, aka GET AWAY FROM MY BIKE! 👍
If there was ever a person qualified on this subject it'd be spite lol. Love the video, everything from the production and editing to the presentation were all on Fortnine levels of greatness. Keep up the great work spite!
Funny you mention Fortnine. I was thinking the exact same thing!
@Truly Britsy - Funny how for the first time ever on TH-cam I tried to find the block feature, and did. Not too sure why? ;-)
@@mygi43543 I mean he's had experience with his motorcycle constantly being stolen or attempted rather as he said in the beginning of the video.
@@49Roadmaster not sure what you mean by that?

Man I can't tell you how impressed I am with you! Kept your head up and stayed true to who you are. The videos are great. I look forward to them! Great advice in this one. Will definitely look into beefing up my security
At this rate Yammie Noob will be asking Spite for a job soon.
My bike got jacked a couple weeks ago. Got it back thankfully. but it made me up my security game tenfold. I had previously only used the Fork Lock, and occasionally a Cover or Disc lock if I didn't expect to ride for a day.
Since the theft I've purchased a Ring Camera for my Parking Spot (apartment life, boo), AirTagged all my bikes, and sank a 1"x4" eyelet into the parking lot to run a Kryptonite chain through.
I figure my bikes cost a lot more than my security deposit, and I *highly* recommend defacing your parking lot for the additional level of security.
Bro this video quality is crazy you need to keep doing this
Loved the new styling of the video, looks much more professional and production value at least seems higher, great to see it.
Carry on the great work and we cant wait to see more videos.
Love the new format Spite! I'd like to see more videos like this, even if it means waiting longer between uploads. Keep this up, and your channel is gonna be huge!
Recently had my 790 Duke stolen from my apartment. Defiantly taking this great and unfortunately necessary advice to heart when i get my next bike.
Keep up the great content, love the format/style of this vid. Very useful content.
You can get motorcycle covers with reinforced holes to pass a lock through the wheels at both ends, making it tougher for them to "unwrap the present". Other than that, this is really solid advice coming from someone with real world experience.
There was a big theft a few years ago in North Sydney, where a white van pulled up next to a motorcycle parking bay & the guys got out & loaded up in broad daylight. They went straight for the Ducati's, BMW's & Harley's in front of hundreds of witnesses & no one batted an eyelid, so yes, if they want your bike they'll take it. So if you commute to work & have to park on the street, get a cheap reliable bike & leave your fun bike for the weekends.
sad society we live in
Impressive piece of content, the setting, background music and information all matched perfectly. Keep it up Spite!
The more videos you put out, the more thankful I am about the YN split. Your style of content is THRIVING in your own space.
This is your best video yet Spite. Keep ‘em coming! 🔥
Someone stole my R1 in august. Alarm lock and chain didn’t help. Two weeks ago they found it, one half mile away. I had taken out the battery to charge it inside. I have since invested in an AirTag and a better garage spot.
You can also use a Apple Air Tag and a Tile. The Monimoto is a great gps tracker for motorcycle.
Spite, this video was perfect. Entertaining, informative, well edited and put together. Awesome content! I'm glad I subscribed
Great production quality on this video, love the graphics on the intro, and speaking of the intro, what an amazing way to get into the video! I feel like the only thing this might have been missing was a bit more light, but it kind of suited the video so either way this was a really great video!
Love, love, LOVE the intro. I feel like I say this every video, but keep up the great work!
This was excellent... I really like the way you went with this video. Stylish, informative and not too long. This is perfect spite. Keep these vids coming and you'll be laughing!!!
Glad you've gone out on your own and ditched that other channel. Love the quality of this video and hope you stick with this format. One thing I want to add is that good insurance is one of the best things you can do to protect yourself when your bike is stolen.
I was just gonna ask that question regarding insurance. I am paying a bit extra for to have theft coverage for my new bike but I do think it’s worth it. I keep it garaged but still have to go into the city with it so figured the insurance is worth it.
@@slothmarathonpromotions2470 if it gets stolen twice and you claim you might be denied coverage all together after. it's not free money when the insurance pays out.
Great job on the video, Spite.
I watch videos for the content, but also the personality, and you deliver on both.
This video gives me big Fortnine vibes, the production quality is just top tier. Keep it up Spite we’re all rooting for ya!!
Northern bc Canada, my buddy had his 300L less than a week and someone cut the heavy hardened chain, they tried to wheel it away...steering locked. Bike was in the middle of the street in the morning.
I told him next time it will be two of them and a pickup, Sent him a link for an Amazon rotor lock/alarm.
It's gone off twice in the middle of the night. They haven't been back all summer/fall
Sounds like PG or Mackenzie. Kelowna had those asshats as well...
@@davidc1961utube Dawson creek, but it's a summer job for those guys. Too cold to go out thieving in the winter here. 😆
@@brentfellers9632 And the bikes are away for the season. Lock up yer sled! Good luck.
You did it! Not sure if it was because a couple of us asked for it or it's just a coincidence but THANKS. To me it seems like we asked and you delivered, and that means a lot!
Production of these has gotten insane!
Great video, as usual. Absolutely right. All those measures, whilst thouted as "anti-theft", are actually only meant to be theft deterrents. ANYTHING can be stolen given enough time and adequate tools. Heck when my ignition cylinder went bad on the old FJR, I just replaced it with an on/off $0.99 switch from the parts store ziptied to the ignition hole in the triple tree. The chain and disc lock kept the bike safe.
I was thinking about getting a Navi for my first bike but have been hesitant due to how light and small it is for this reason. But these are great tips and make me feel better. Thank you
Haha nice one! Motorcycles also get stolen often here in The Netherlands. Being transported over borders or in garages/sheds and won't be seen again. Some are found back but also a lot ain't. It's what you said as well, if they want the bike bad enough they will get it whatever you have for anti theft methods. Of course we have insurance, but not all levels of insurance cover up theft costs and some companies insist you at least have 1 or more high graded anti theft method on your bike. If they'll find out you didn't use it, and your bike gets stolen you might not get the insurance to pay out.
If you have a ground level door, roll that bike into the living room. I've done this at a many of Super 8's and other outside door motels. Only thing that was ever said to me by other people staying their was smart move! If you're not riding your bike daily and have your bike in an area like spite does as shown here, you could let alot of the air out of the tires and make sure they're nearly flat! Like he said thief's are lazy and if they're going to have to work their butt's off just to push the bike a few hundred yards to wherever their truck or trailer is they might just move on to an easier target. Craftsman battery operated Air compressors can be bought for cheap compared to buying a new bike if you don't have specific replacement insurance.
You were the only reason I ever watched the Yammie Boob channel, so I'm really glad to see you doing so well on your own! Keep up the great work!
Great job, well scripted and the edits are great. Best one yet
Fantastic cinematography and styling. Fan ode to fortnine quality with the attitude of Spite
This is great advice, I have watched tons of vids on keeping my bike safe as I use it to commute into the city near me. This still taught me a few things, and makes me want to get that loud lock you have as I park in a parking garage. Cheers Spite!
Loving the format and the effort. No stupid memes, no lists, no fluff. Getting a nice Fortnine vibe and I mean that in the most positive way! 👍👍👍
That info is gold and now I am really interested in that break lock it is something that I always overlooked, but Spite I have experienced a lot of theft and now use the Lock and cover but the theft everyone should watch out for and that I am experiencing is the con. Someone for some reason asks for your bike and you trust them, take it from me "DON'T LEND YOUR BIKE TO ANYONE!"
New logo animation looks DOPE!
More like this format. Amazing, you had me hooked
Dude this was a fantastic video! Thanks for this!
6:22 for added security put that orange lock through the sprocket instead of that frame.
Fantastic video Spite!! Loving the mix of casual chats/rides and produced videos like this. Such a great mix, youre killing it mate!!
It's always a good day when Spite posts! Also this was Fortnine level quality. Keep it up.
Once i left my motorcycle at the airport car park and went on a holiday. There were dozens of bikes there. When i arrived, the cover on my bike was lifted up in the front wheel area and hooked up high on the steering bar. Clearly someone was checking what my bike's make and condition was. Because i had two chains on a front wheel and a screemer disc lock on the back wheel they did not still my bike. But i was surprised that even in such place with lots of CCTV cameras around someone still tried to steal my bike.
Really enjoy the style of this video. Cannot wait to see how this channel evolves.
I love the intensity, production and content of this video. Great vid Spike!
love the content. just had a bike stolen in broad daylight this week.
i had a disc lock and a chain + padlock, but two dudes just picked it up and threw it in a van
the effect on the logo in the intro was sick! great video spite!
Good job on the production man, enjoyed it. On the substance note - i would like to know more about things you can bolt in ground so no one can lift the bike.
1) Piece together plumbing supplies and an upwardly shaped explosive charge.
2) Place underneath your bike seat.
3) Wire circuit to your bike's antitamper alarm.
4) Spooky profit
Great video. Since m last bike got stolen, I have one chain going around a lamp post and front wheel, one chain around same lamp post and frame, one chain around (you guessed it) lamp post and rear wheel, as well as an alarm disk lock and a cover at all times. It's a pain in the arse to go through that routine every day, but it's worth it
Haven't watched all the videos on this channel yet but this is my favorite so far!
Great video ! Hadn’t considered chaining wheel to frame .
One of those Xena alarms alerted neighbours that thieves were trying to steal my motorbike. They came with a grinder but didn’t even bother using it to attack my chain . They fled.
Channel gaining speed, good for you, I was hoping you'd make it through after what happened! All the best!
also, serious F9 vibes, and that's a good thing ;)
Great vid. Had 2 bikes stolen. Dr350, came buy my brothers and threw in back of truck. The 2nd in front of my buddies house at 3p. Didnt lock the steering & thief just rolled away & think hid it in nearby house. Lesson learned. I did have theft on both bikes at least
Awesome vid! I’ve been worried about this for a while considering I’m planning to purchase a bike soon and wasn’t sure what to do, thanks for the advise!
I didn’t even watch it( i was listening) and it was definitely a notch above. Please don’t burn out though so we can still get content from you for years to come!
Echos of Ryan @ Fortnine, and that's a serious compliment. It's wonderful to see more entertaining, well made videos.
Really great, well made, with your own style in there. I think you're really on to something here.
Great video, Spite. It's a bummer that thieves in Austin are so bold. Up here in Canada in my locked garage my bike is pretty safe, eh. But the benefit of your experience is much appreciated.
If you do opt for a ground anchor, don’t mount it on the ground. It leaves the chain relatively easy too cut with a grinder. Mount it on an upright surface, like a wall. Mount it above axle height, it keeps the chain off of a firm surface to hold the chain while it’s being cut. It is a major deterrent. I store my bikes airy disc locks on each rotor. They gotta carry the whole bike. Make sure at least one disc lock is alarmed. Fit a movement sensing alarm independently. Cover the bike as Spite says in a well lit area. Or if inside your garage, park your car right up against your bike. It restricts movement around your bike.
I love everything about this video! I love your tips! I also love love love the lighting and music! 👍😊🔥🌟
Awesome Video. Thanks for the Information‼️
Great work on this one. Opening scene had feels of F9 and they produce some of my favorite content. Glad to see the channel is prospering.
New to motorcycle and I live in nyc. Your video helps me so much! Thank you 🙏🏾
Oh my goodness Spite, this was so darn good. I'm so impressed with what you've done
Love this style, great work! Does remind me a little of F9, but that’s a great style to borrow from.
Fantastic video. Love the cinematography. Also good advice. For those using disk locks also make sure they aren't easy to pick/rake.
My neighbor parks his bike next to his truck up against a wall at our apartment complex.
It's brilliant because it's completely hidden...unless he drives the truck that day.
I park mine in the back away from everyone else hoping to go under the radar. Also use a cover but that's more for the rain. Glad that it can also deter some theft.
Hey Spite absolutely love the style of this video. Im from SA and an officer, just got back into motorcycling from a 5 year layoff and bought an RS660. You have my full support and I would love to work with you and help you grow your channel for free of cost and just for the learning experience if you ever need the help.
Thank you and great job on the video spite!! This really helped me as a new rider worried about my bike being stolen. There has been a lot of bike thefts in my area lately and seeing how I ride a crf300L, I feel like it’s an easy bike to steal if someone really wanted it
it is really impressive how the production quality levels up on every single video you post 0.0
Excellent video.👍 Only thing I would like are links to some of the products talked about.
Thanks for being real, really helpful 👍🙏
Absolutely loving the production levels on this vid
Excellent content, Spite! I sadly had to report a bike stolen for the first time last year; I had full coverage and was able to replace it, but it still sucked. It's a horrible sinking feeling to walk outside and realize your prized possession is missing. I feel very foolish as I'd just plain gotten complacent and was not using any security beyond the fork lock :(. I have a cover and alarmed disc lock bud had stopped using them. I don't know if those things would have deterred the thief but hey, they stood a chance.
Now I have the big "piss off" chain and lock, between the frame and a post, and it's parked behind my car such that it's difficult to maneuver out even for me. I also suggested to my HOA that they install some cameras, which they did. I've had no problems since. So yeah, folks, follow the advice here and I'd say cover & disc-lock at *bare* minimum. Chain to something solid if at all possible. Complex/community gates are just a nuisance for Amazon and Dominoes, they don't stop thieves. Private garages *do* get broken into so don't think you're immune out in the 'burbs.
Great video, one more thing I would suggest to prevent theft. Purchase a bike cover with lock loops in the bottom so you can lock the cover over the bike. That way a possible thief has to commit to cutting a lock before they've even decided if the bike underneath is worth it.
Great content Spite, im lucky enough to live in an apartment where there's 24 hour security and the only way out is through a security check point and 24 / camera surveillance but I do feel for those less fortunate
Ground anchor is what I’ve used outside for 24 yr not lost a bike yet .But came close using disc lock one night on a brand new Suzuki 650 from insurance company .lazy nearly cost me .😊
It’s all about layers. Like cake.
I like to have an anchor or something to chain my bike to. A chain around my swingarm or frame. I have an AirTag hidden. I have a GPS hidden. And a secondary GPS hidden. I also use a disc lock with an alarm. I also use a bike cover.
But to be honest, parking in light won’t do much. Steering locks are good. Disc locks are good. But you can steal a bike with skateboards. But it’s definitely going to help.
Also, adding a camera with motion activation can be good. It’ll send notifications when someone is coming by your bike. And potentially get a glimpse of who did it.
Very Fortnine like video, which means excellent! I hate thieves. Another way to reduce crime is to move. I kept getting stuff stolen in Las Vegas. Nothing stolen in North Dakota for the last 14 years.
Great vid man. Also, getting a cover will help to deter vandals too. While living in an apartment, one time I came out to my bike and found that someone had stolen my license plate and the bolts that held it to my fender. The license plate frame was just hanging there from the turn signal wires. Had the fork lock and a disk lock on there, but I bet if I hadn't been lazy and put the cover on, they wouldn't have messed with my license plate.
Your videos are better than when you was at YN! Well done Spite glad to see you cutting your own path. Take care
Good video. I’d like to see the products linked in the description though.
Definitely see where all the quality Yam videos came from, keep it up Spite. Love the videos
Thank you, Spite. I'm a beginner. Super new to everything and I've always wondered how to keep bikes secure. I appreciate the knowledge and wisdom!
I freaking love this topic. Aced again. Video production was smooth. Filming it at night was a challenge I bet. Still, worth it.
Great video spite. Informative and presented in an entertaining way.
This is the first video of yours I watched all the way through.

Thank you for talking about covers! As a ex master bike thief I been telling people for YEARS to cover their bikes. More importantly to use multiple locks since ANY lock can be picked or brute Force attacked the point of locks is to make it to hard take to long.
Me I use a high-end cover with a cover lock 🔒 a simple small combo lock but it's a easy 30-60 seconds. Than I have 2 Anubis disc locks on both wheels adds about 2 minutes plus each have a 140db built in alarm steering lock of course than a kryptonite NYC lock securing the bike to a stationary object it takes about 4 minutes to grind through. All Giving me about 5 to 7 minutes of safety worth of locks alone. I also have a 2 way alarm system with proximity detection and motion detection it alerts my fop when it goes off if I'm to far to hear it but the bike itselfs lights go nuts and the siren is super loud 📢. If all that fails I have 2 GPS systems 1 wired into the bike wired up in such a way that if you try to disconnect it improperly the bike will not run i.e ripping it off which in itself would be hard since it is in an area that requires removal of other parts and a Samsung tile tag tucked DEEP into the bike.
I have very bad karma so I take the extra steps takes about 10 minutes to park or leave my bike though 😅
Great video and content. I like where you are going with it.
As a wise man once said, "You cannot stop a thief determined to steal your stuff, but you can make you stuff less appealing and harder to steal so they look to the other person's stuff beside yours."
As for the cover. Take a NO NAME GENERIC cover and make it look crappy. In my case it has multiple duct tape strips all over it, different colours of paint overspray and drips, spray the bottom with flat black so it looks like oil stains came off the bike, mystery white stains, greasy finger prints, etc...
Learned that from two old guys pulling into a motel in a sketch area of town. They rolled in with beautiful H-D baggers and pulled out Gold Wing covers. Their theory was that no one wants to steal a Gold Wing.
Adding a disc lock on both the front and rear with bright long reminder straps also helps.
Get a locking gas cap if your bike does not have one helps.
At a hotel in Detroit the valets let us park in the valet parking right in front of the hotel where we chained the two bike together and they had anchors in the ground. We also paid each valet $20 each to keep watch over the bikes.
1 : take out the motor
2 : take out the gas tank
3 : take off the wheels
4 : take off the frame
Now it’s 100 percent theft proof can’t steal a bike of there no bike
Nice content last year my ktm 790 adventure was stolen. They even stole my bike cover also. I switched to a gps tracker on my 890 adventure. The bike was never recovered but was insured thank god.
