does the LG 27GR75Q-B use the same panel?
Thank you very much for the video and the comparison to the AW2723DF! ❤
About 2 years ago I bought a monitor after watching one of your reviews and since then your videos have improved a lot, looking super professional. Keep up the amazing work 😄
I bought the Mobiuz EX 2510 because of him. He's a good guy
I'd love to see you review 27GR75Q as it seems like a good 1440p 165hz monitor. It's also relatively cheaper than the competition.
I would also like to watch this review
Thank you for posting recommended settings
I've been waiting for this one!!!
Nah I never comment on tech videos but you including the recommended settings because I just bought this monitor today deserves a like and follow! Great job man
Thank you very much for that review :)
having used the viewsonic xg2431 for over a year now, high refreshrate gaming is so much fun. having used higher resolution monitors every so often, i would still take more hz over pixels.
Thanks for your good review. As i said to Tim from Hardware Unboxed, its more and more likely that this is gonna be my next monitor.
Had you been nearby I'd lend you my new LG 27GR75Q.
Elegant, quality design (getting rid of LED bar is most welcome). Early impression it's a beautiful sRGB display (1440p/165hz), sharp enough for text (but worse than Dell UD27HM13).
Default colors are fine without tuning. Running contrast/brightness around 50.
I'm so glad I didn't go with the Oled.
Bro can you please tell me
I'm confused between LG 27GR75Q and M27Q ( Rev 2.0) ......... And I have another option LG 27GN800 can you tell me which should I finally buy I'm soo confused and by the way love from Australia
@@saminder_singh both LGs seems 8-bit color, which I prefer and gives more natural color.
The GB 27Q seems a wide-gamut, which renders a bit more saturated colors.
My personal opinion regard the 27GR75Q is it's a good buy. Zero regrets from my side as a casual gamer and reader.
Although for reading it's decent enough.
But there's noticeable IPS glow in total black, in case that's a top priority for you (but in games blacks are fine enough for me).
The whites are white enough, overall the colors are beautiful and natural to my liking.
Hope you make the right choice and become happy with your purchase.
Need mini led 240 hz so bad, this is not bad for the price though! Biggest thing I don’t love about IPS is blacks looking gray, mini LED would be perfect.
Does this monitor exclusive to north america ? I can't find it in Europe at the moment . :/
Hi this monitor vs dell aw2724dm Which one is better in terms of black uniformity and ips glow?
Why did LG choose the BOE panel? Because they will release the same monitor with their own panels for a higher price in 1-2 years.
Do you know if this monitor has a fan or anything that is suppose to make a sound?Wondering if its a defect or not. Mine is making a weird sound which i can hear when i dont have anything on. It even makes sound when my pc is off and its in stand by mode? only turns off when i unplug the power cable.
I’m hesitating between the 27GR93U and the 27GR83Q and the gigabyte m27U for console games (x|x),especially fast fps games like cod so what do u think should I chose between these three?
What country are you from? Here in finland we have not gotten many 240hz 1440p non oled options.
Could you review the Galax Vivance-01 1440p 165Hz? I hardly find any detailed reviews. I'm using this monitor for more than 1 year, but I don't have tools or knowledge to tune the right setting for it.
Nice review ,but you forgot to mention hdmi 2.1 support -bandwith in comparison with the alienware ,and if it worth it for console gaming for 1440p 120fps with vrr enabled
Can you elaborate? Does it support HDMI 2.1 for consoles?
@@frickenwicked6235according to Amazon and some other websites I’ve seen, it supports HDMI 2.1. It should support consoles. Keep in mind that the current consoles are capped at 120hz so getting 240hz is overkill (unless you have a PC you’re using as well, then get 240hz by all means, but if you’re solely using the monitor for your console, stick with a 120hz or 144hz monitor).
Any idea if or when this monitor will be available in Germany?
Thanks. Would you recommend this over the msi g274qpx at $50 dollars more?
Hey! I was wondering if you can best budget monitors of all time! Thank you
Is it possible for you to get your hands on the Acer Nitro VG271U M3BMIIPX? It's the cheapest 27" 1440p 180Hz monitor I've seen in my country (like seriously, a mere $210 if converted to USD) but seeing as it's very recently released, I can't seem to find proper information about it, much less in-depth coverage like yours.
Can we get a review on the new AOC 25g3zm? It's a very budget 240hz VA monitor that really surprised reviewers by solving most VA issues. I personally switched to it about a month ago, from an IPS, and I'm pleasantly surprised
only saw dodgy reviews of this monitor, it has considerable ghosting against ips?
I got lucky and got this monitor from Lg directly for $299. They had it on sale for $350 last weekened, I think it was some sort of new release sale, and then I found a coupon for an extra 20 percent off. Arrives today, looking forward to getting it set up!
You're trying to tell me this BRAND NEW monitor was already on sale at 40% off? sus
@@nyphonRelease sales are a thing.
@@ingeneral__6948 never ever seen that before. which doesnt mean it doesnt exist, but for 40%? i really doubt that unless it was an error.
I got that deal as well and it came out to even less (after cash back). I think the promo code we used was a mistake lol
What’s the promo code 👀😂
Is this better than the Msi Optix MAG274QRF-QD in terms color gamut and image quality?
What is the recommended black level high or low with full 10 bit RGB?
Hey man, can you do a review on the Gigabyte G24F-2, I've seen you recommend the G24F so I'm wondering if G24F-2 is any better
I have it, it's been great. Very solid for the price I'm not sure if there's a better deal out there
It’s 350 on amazon rn. Really eye-balling the Oled variant. I have the hardware to run 4k even. But shoot, for half the price I’m in between if I should go Oled which obviously looks better. Currently on 1080p 240hz. Wish I had a side by side comparison!
You own both. Do you think it’s worth 400 dollars more? I play cod and rocket league. But would like to have a good monitor to show family photos etc.
for 800 its not worth I got one and returned it. Oled is still to new IPS is seasoned already. Save your money and get this or the MSI 240hz
btw i got my lg new for 350 and the msi is 380 new. look into those.
@@03EdgarWhich monitor are you talking about?
@stxrmzzz9995 msi 1440p 240hz ips on amazon and the one on the video i got for 350 on sale. I returned the oled 800 dollar or more lg
@@03Edgar I'm debating between these 2 right now... which do you think is better the LG or MSI one? Benefits/drawbacks of each?
If you exclude the price factor, and I play a lot of FPS games and do paperwork, would I be better off with the LG 27GR83Q or the AW2723DF from Alien?
LG!
fs alienware, higher refresh rate, better build quality, and smaller bezels. But if price was a concern, the LG is wayyy cheaper and a better option for its price point
Can't really find this monitor in Europe anywhere...
You have two table or one table for review purpose?
I would appreciate if you made a review of the new Gigabyte G24F 2
Just a heads up for those wanting to take the vrr plunge. It won't work flawlessly in all games especially some older games. Mainly you get screen flashing and sometimes scanlines. It's still an emerging tech without a solid industry wide standard. Thankfully if your gpu is compatible with hdmi vrr that works much better overall than either brands vrr tech.
what will this affect the most, pc or ps5 gaming? planning to get rtx4080
@@firepro20 this is a gsync panel so perfect for a 4080. Consoles and and gpu use freesync.
I wanted a 27GR75QB screen, but it does not support VRR. Is it worth paying the difference of $200 for the ps5?
@@mohaamed2849 VRR is a game changer for both pc and consoles as it perfectly smooths out the motion by matching the panel to the gpu output so it eliminates stuttering and judder in motion. Works best if you can maintain fps above 60~70 for best results.
Nice video! Mobiuz ex2710q when?
When comparing against the 27GP850 (retail 499$ as well) - you'll get almost double refresh rate but also much better contrast ratio. Most of the 27GP850 models were around 850:1 contrast ratio, and this new model being around 1000:1 - 1100:1. Pretty cool
Can't decide between this monitor or the 27GR95QE....
Get the 27GR95QE OLED monitor for gaming and watching videos, because OLED is good for this.
Get the 27GR83Q IPS monitor for other text-heavy, photos and stuff that is static for long periods of time, because less burn-in happens on IPS.
Almost double refresh rate? Damn your maths are bad.
What is the program that you use to test Gsync/freesync? The one with the slider to adjust the speed and hz.?
SmoothFrog and Nvidia Pendulum ✌️
@techless could you please give a few comparison words? Between this monitor and M27QX? cuz i found one available m27qx...
Looks like Gigabyte rereleased the M27QX. Plenty available on Amazon
@@jragadio oh you are right, i have been tracking the availability for half a year, and now suddenly available in many stores. I already considered to buy alienware AW2723DF 2k 280ghz since M27QX was not available. Now i have delema what to choose between them, because AW2723DF price is even a bit cheaper O_O
Which color is better m27q-p or this one?
How is this compared to Samsung G7 Odyssey 27?
Both cost pretty much the same here.
Thoughts on the Lenovo Legion y27qf-30 1440p 240Hz?
Finally a review of this monitor
I returned it 2 days after I got It lol
@@IHaveBadWiFiBro Why?
@@zulvanachsan coming from the LG 27GL850 it didn't feel like an upgrade visually lol
I got over 5400+ hours on my GL850, guess I don't need to upgrade yet 💀
Snagged this for 350$ Amazon black Friday deal. It sold out pretty quickly
Why can't I find any reviews of the 27GR93U-B? Like I haven't fond one video of it.
Can you review the 165hz version, lg 27gr75q? Seems it's the replacement for 27gp83b. It's cheaper so Wondering if it's still a good monitor.
Yeah, waiting for the reviews on this one as I can't find any as of now
Also the MSI G272QPF!
I have got one, no complaints at all for general usage.
As much as I wished the OLED, the price difference so huge plus the burn issue. Frankly I wouldn't care about black levels.
@@O.Shawabkeh how's the color are they vivid and rich?
where can I get the wallpaper? 4:05
Where can i get this monitor in EU ?
how you go into the service menu?
The only available LG ultragear is 27gr75q-b in my country. I don’t know whether to buy or not
What are the differences between this and the 27e3qk
Interesting monitor
whatr those rgb lights? playbars?
damn, its a shame that its not available in Australia yet, its pretty expensive for 240hz 1440p here, about double the price of a 165hz 1440p
Should I get this or the 27GP850-B? They are both the same price right now. I'll be using it for ps5 gaming and general work use from my MacBook Air
Why would you go with less hz if it's the same price?
This one has hdmi2.1
ive got a problem where i cant use 240hz but im using the hdmi cable that came in the boxe (8k 60hz) what can i do ?
Bro it literally comes with a Display Port cable that you use to get 240hz. Unless you are using it with console, always use Display Port cable as it supports the max refresh rate.
Regardless of price, would you recommend the AW2723DF over this monitor?
No
Aw is wayyy better.
gibt es den in Deutschland oder wird es den geben?
Is a HDMI 2.1 Cable included in the box?
dónde consigues esos wallpapers?
this or ho 27qs? both same price on sale at 350
I purchased this product LG 27GR83Q-B. When I connected it via DP, there were horizontal lines appearing and disappearing in random areas on the screen, so I returned it. Has anyone encountered this problem?
@@i.b3799 I think I know what the problem is. Solution; NVIDIA Control Panel -> Change Resolution -> Select "Use NVIDIA Color Settings" at the bottom of the page and change the "Output Color Depth" setting from "8bpc" to "10bpc". I would appreciate it if you let me know if it works after you try it.
I saw someone had this problem and fixed it with nvidia control panel. You have to get it to 10 bit to fix the horizontal lines problem
This monitor or the Gigabyte M27Q X?
this or aw2723df?
Is this worth $90 more compared to the LG 27GP850?
Thoughts between this and the Alienware AW2723DF?
This at 349
Should i connect with a DP or HDMi 2.1 cable for this monitor?
For PC you should use DP
What the f does the B in 27gr83q-B stands for ! Whats the difference ! Its 340€ … im confused
we need more 24.5 and 23.8 1440p like the aoc q24g2.
A 24.5 inch 1440p monitor with HDR10 is my dream monitor.
Has anybody used the icc profile provided here. And what are your thoughts?
Looks pretty good. No complaints
anyone have a monitor settings guide forthe monitor?
Just bought it, didn't get the oled version because of all the bad reviews I've seen on amazon. If I don't like it ill just return it.
Please do a review on Pixio PX248 Pro monitor.
Hmm how mutch difference is between this and LG nano IPS 180hz 2k ? (in terms of HZ) bcs i cant decide from those 2. Tnx Big Up.
Idk if youve felt the 60-144 experience, but from what I've heard from friends IRL and the internet, the jump from 144-240 is not as prominent as the jump from 60-144. Also ur gpu has to be able to run at the freq.
@@quintit im ok on gpu side i got a 7900 xt

Snagged one of these for $350 usd. Couldn't be happier with it!
Is this discount still available, and were did you buy it from
Somehow the GR95QE 240hz oled is currently on amazon for 800
pls test Dell G2724D, I'd say thats also a good monitor for the masses.
This or the M27Q-X?
When i see it in UE?
For a minimum spec, what is the cheapest graphics card i can use for this type of monitors? To use for gaming, i mean.
It all depends on the games you want you play,if you only want to play esports games like cs ,lol dota for example,an rx 6600 or rtx 2060 super should be enough for 1440 240hz gaming,do not forget you need a decent cpu aswell,at least a ryzen 5 3600 or i5 11400f

R9 380 is not enough for 1440p. You need RX 6700 XT for a somewhat comfortable gaming experience.

I had the chance to talk to two people who bought this model and they said they had the same problem. Has anyone tried this?
mine will be arriving tomorrow. Hopefully everything will be fine🙏🏼
If you see lines on the screen when connected via DP, I'm telling you what to do is to open the NVIDIA Control Panel and select the "Use NVIDIA Color Settings" option at the bottom of the page with Resolution Options and increase the "Output Color Depth" setting from 8 to 10. i switch from 180hz (LG 27GP850) to 240hz monitor and didnt notice the smoothness
id say 160-240hz is not noticeable to the eye at all and more of a gimmick. I went from 60hz to 165hz and its insanely different but I think the main difference is also the grey-to-grey going from 5ms to 0.3ms oled
Have you turned the overdrive on? Because ips panels g2g speed without OD are slow af
How does this perform compared to MSI G274QPX
Hardware unboxed said the LG is much better. Right now the LG is selling for $350 on B&H which is roughly what you'll pay for the MSI. Going with the LG is a no brainer here.

Brand New Monitor already on Sale after came out... This is something I don't get it. Why did LG discount this brand new?
Could be a marketing strategy to quickly boost the numbers but that's just an assumption
LG give the gamers a glossy oled desktop monitor already!
