I LOVE your Happy go Lucky spirit, and your beautiful smile. You're smiling constantly and it just lights up your face. As an old man of 59 who can't wait to hit the trails, your videos are very encouraging. I am from Durango and have been to Silverton many times, but have not lived in Durango since I left at age 20 to join the military. Thank You for your beautiful and peaceful videos, and for your inspiration to get out there and get active again !

I prefer to backpack solo but you seem like someone I'd enjoy hiking with.

I'm so glad you gave the name of the Maidenhair Fern. I've been trying to figure that one for four years. I see it along the AT.

You dropped into Elk Creek Canyon in the early morning, what a rush! Don't you think it's the prettiest part ... or can we decide even? Great video, thanks!

Healthy blood oxygen level is 95-100. I’m guessing at 9300 feet (Silverton) mine would drop from 98 to 80’s. At 12,500 I’m sure yours was why you felt so tired. Low. You are doing truly great is my point. Great panoramas you gave us. Thank you.

Another epic video. I can totally relate to your ups and downs. Truly, what an amazing landscape you are walking through, but yeah, I can see how it would be brutal physically and mentally. You are pulling some big miles at this point. What an achievement. You should be really proud of yourself!

I've never been to the San Juan's. Definitely the part I'm looking forward to most when I do the CT next year.
