Totally jonesing the complete and utter realness of your hiking videos! You can actually feel the complete joy you find in 'being small' and surrounded by such vast breathtaking vistas. It's nice to see thru-hiking videos that let you experience the moment, the thought process behind the decision making, and then the consequences and result.

I want to say I’m really enjoying this series of the CT. You truly show the highs and lows of thru hiking. I’m hoping to finish the PCT this year but with the insane snow levels I’m not sure when I’ll be able to get on trail so if that’s the case I’d like to come do the CT first to give the snow more time to melt. Just a tip for future hikes when you vlog. Maybe consider giving the dates your on trail in your videos because I realize what the season is for the CT so I use these videos for research and I have no idea when you hiked and it’s looking like you hiked a ton in the rain so it would be nice to know what dates you hiked. I want a smaller tent like the Hornet for my AT thru-hike in March, are you happy with yours? It's either that or my old REI Quarter Dome 2. Really beautiful views on this vlog. We are enjoying them!
I have the 2018 model. It worked well it’s first 1000miles, but the floor soaked through quickly on the CT. I don’t know if they’ve upgraded the floor in the new model.
The Nemo Hornet uses 15D silcoated nylon in its floor which is only rated at 1200mm. Any rating less than 2000mm in a tent floor is more than likely going to leak. She has commented in earlier videos that she is having that problem when it rains. I don't own one and would not choose to do so for the reason I mention. I would look for a shelter that uses a 30D or heavier fabric. Silpoly is a superior choice, in my opinion, over silnylon. Of course Dyneema tops all other choices for waterproofness. Good luck.
