Aluminum rock sliders are the way to go.
Love my 2021 Taco too.
The problem with aluminum for armor is in the event you get caught on rocks, rocks dig into aluminum. Rather than slide as it does on steel.

Yes saw that on some serious trails.
Man, your truck looks awesome! And everything is so well thought out. Great job! I bought a 2023 TRD sport. I’ve had it for almost 6 months now. Already 7000 kms. I’d like to do a few things to it but not sure where to start😂
Probably lighting. You’re right, that is my favourite part. Probably where il start.
I really enjoyed following your journey through this build. It’s helped me with mine.
Also, thanks for being real in your videos. Not every install is as easy as many videos show.😁
Thanks!
Makes me happy knowing I am able to help others out! 🤙
Great video as always!
Thanks Trent, another very helpful video, it’s always nice seeing your build progress👏
Glad you enjoyed it!
Looks like you have the smoked lenses for turn signels on the mirrors. Just pointing out something you forgot.😂😂😂
Omg so much weight. What kind of mileage do you get with all that one there? Aluminum is a great option for much of this.
It’s “winch”…..not “wench”. Nice rig!!!
Ok. English professor 😂
Outstanding build, dude. How many miles is on that bad boy?!
Thank you!! 55k miles on her!
Not even broken in yet!@@ModernDayViking
