Aluminum rock sliders are the way to go.
Love my 2021 Taco too.
The problem with aluminum for armor is in the event you get caught on rocks, rocks dig into aluminum. Rather than slide as it does on steel.

Man, your truck looks awesome! And everything is so well thought out. Great job! I bought a 2023 TRD sport. I’ve had it for almost 6 months now. Already 7000 kms. I’d like to do a few things to it but not sure where to start😂

Omg so much weight. What kind of mileage do you get with all that one there? Aluminum is a great option for much of this.
