  • Is this the ultimate overland Tacoma? 35's, lockers, gears, camper, long travel, and all the armour and recovery gear you could need. And I know! I accidentally got our customer's tacoma completely stuck in the snow when out testing our new shock tune on it.
    We had the opportunity to build this truck in our shop using only the best of the best parts, and it turned out insane! Our shop focusses specifically on Toyota's and specialize in building incredibly capable trucks. If you're interested in having us build your truck, make sure to reach out!

    Sick ass build. Only critic I have is that the saturation on the video was too high and it was difficult to see the details of the rig. Thought it was my monitor settings at first but it's the same on my phone too.

    Just want to say, thank you for making the shock comparison video. That’s how you guys probably got a lot of new people to watch your Chanel.
    Thank you for making videos like those and new ones.

    Nice build. What’s it weigh? I also carry waffle boards for bridging across things like that creek.

    Hello, nice build, could you tell me what spring rate you used on the front of this truck with the jd fab kit? Spr 3-18-600?
    Thank you

    Nice! Can you explain why go with the sPod over, say a Switch Pro or some other manufacturer?

    • @OverlandOutfitters
      @OverlandOutfitters  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Spod and switch pro are both solid brands that are very similar with slightly different features and options, just depends what you're looking for but I would recommend either!

    So... from stock to this.... What steps should I go? TRD OR 23, Stock. Skids(alu for now) and sliders coming in. Smartcap already on and roof/canopy racks coming in. Already getting a little heavy. How do I move forward till I have a long travel setup? Hoping to buy once cry once, and end up with with a southern style bumper, and c4 swing out rear with the D bar.

      And would 33's be alright with a long travel set up? It's going to be a daily, but want to have the option of moving up to a 35.

    What about a price for this build

    • @mup8661
      @mup8661 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'd say 65-75k

    • @atomicfrijole7542
      @atomicfrijole7542 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      In US dollars, you're talking $30-35k for the Sport trim Taco, easily $5k for the King shocks, $3-4k for the bumpers/armor, $1k for the sliders, $3k for the wheels and tires, $1.5k for the roof rack, guessing ~$5-7k for the topper in back, might be off on that one, $2k on the lights and SPod, $2k on new gears in the diff and front and rear air lockers, probably about $3-5k in other things we can't see, and easily a minimum of $7k on all the labor. (I'm probably low-balling some of these prices, wouldn't be surprised if it costs a bit more than my guesstimation.)
