Ome thing I really like that I almost always see in every car on this channel is that not only are they all legit builds , but the cats themselves have appeared to have gone through what often look light quite legit full chassis restorations with fresh paint and fresh textured black moldings , mirrors , door handles , etc.. that is one thing you didnt see in the original Honda scene back 15-20 years ago. I got close , im a high end restoration , fabrication and heavy collision master tech of 18 years experience and I'm embarrassed to admit that when I still had my crx 10-12 years ago , I'd done all the body work and had the vehicle sitting in primer for years without taking the last step of blocking it out and prepping the chassis , masking it up and squirting on a fresh 4-5 coats of sealer and 3 coats of PPG clear , thats what I SHOULD HAVE done , but nope one weekend just impulsively along with my buddy who was also a body man , we blocked out the primer , scuffed the entire chassis down , blew it off abd cleaned it then masked it up completely just to sadly end up blasting 7-8 cans of rustolium satin black Fin spray paint on the car. So mad every time I think about the sad truth that I deprived that CRX of the proper fresh paint job it deserved after minting out all the body work , whether dings and dents or body filler over a homemade patch panel to get rid of the little rust the chassis had , it was done right and done well , I worked in 3 body shops over the years I had the Crx and had the ability to after hours take full advantage of all the equipment and facilities at my disposal as I always got along with my boss's, I hope the guy I sold her too eventually got her the paint job it deserved.

SVTRacing SVTRacing nice nice. They you stay with the stock specs or is it stroker? Most people who go built F20b always go stroker. I prefer and like the way the F20b is from the factory. Mine makes power to 9k with pro2 cams and it’s been running with pro2 cams for 9 years now.

Quick question. If this car had never been turned down since it was last on the dyno. And it was running on 628whp (kill mode) since then, why did it make 541whp on the first run in this video? Why was it necessary to retune in back to over 6xxwhp?

What kind of fan are you using? The fan that came with my hybrid racing halfsize rad couldnt keep up so now I'm using a 1700cfm spal. I will be doing another dyno tune in a few days
How many lbs do you suggest for the wastegate spring on this type of setup to be able to control boost by gear? I know too light of a spring can cause issues from what I've heard. Thanks in advance!

Glad to see someone else who still has love for the D , F and R series motors , shit in the US the whole Honda scene started with the 88-91 usdm stock d16a6 single cam non vtec motors , and early on the only swaps going on were those rare dual cam 1.6 D series jdm ZC motors and first gen b16 swaps and b18 non-vtec swaps , with the occasional 1.8 gs-r swap running around. These were the days I'm mentioning before coilovers were ever made and first used on these cars and people used if they were wanting a legit suspension , that meant basically short body KYB reds or Koni yellows with H&R or Eibach springs or ground control coil over sleeves that offered custom spring rates if you really wanted to have a nice suspension set up. I remember back in like 2003 or so when my buddy roled up to my place in b16 ek hatch and was excited ro show me what he just bought , and that was specifically one of the first if not maybr even the first available set of true coilovers ever made for eg and ek chassis cars , and I was like coilovers?wth and remember thinking he was dumb for making a poor choice buying something that was made by a company who'd literally just started making aftermarket parts , and a suspension setup style that I honestly initially was very hesitant about , and for I suppose some what of a justified reason as he had to get two of the coil overs warrantied within a couple months of moderate use , and of course I was like "see I told you those things are a joke" lmao , if only I knew that these new weird setups called "coilovers" would within a few short years become the base standard in suspension setups to the point where almost nobody any more uses actual separate lowwring springs and short body struts intended for lowering springs lol , looking back anything less than decent coil overs seems so crude and stone age to me now lol. How times change lol.

I would assume long enough to daily it and do the odd run at the track and wicked high way pulls. Long enough to save up for some stronger gears lol
