I highly recommend that when grinding for Prlz, you use weapons you are not good with, because then you’ll never have to use that specific weapon again and you can do all the fun grinding with a weapon you’re familiar with.
Really? I'd have thought it would be better to start with weapons you're comfortable with for the earliest grind, and save weapons you're not as good with for after you've unlocked more hacks to make those runs less punishing... Maybe there's just no wrong order to do things in.
I’ve beaten it with three weapons. My advice for upgrades is get a couple extra lives early, and as soon as Marina offers it, upgrade swim speed while damaged. Every time I die it’s because I got one-shot damaged by a bomb or sniper, then the hoard finished me off because I couldn’t get away.
I would highly recommend the Broken Armor Jump then. It’s really good for escaping when your armor gets broken and it’s saved me so many times from sticky situations where I would’ve died otherwise
@Sakura_Truffle When paired with Armor Repair Time, you can also land AFTER your armor regens at higher tiers of upgrade Saved me wayyyyyy too many times.
As a mediocre splatoon player, armor recovery is one of the best hacks because it’s relatively cheap and it can allow you to recover from nearly dying in just a few seconds. It pairs well with the armor break jump too since I’ve been able to get armor broken and glide with pearl to instantly repair the armor before I even touch the ground.
@@EthanDeeRatIf you’re using the same weapon then that could be the reason why you dont get keys anymore. Each pallet can give you a total of 3 keys. So i’d recommend playing with different pallets:)
I mostly die by getting cornered. Id recommended the getting thrown up in the air after a shield break hack. Dont remember the name but i think it can really save a run.
Broken Armor Jump is the name you’re looking for! That is one of my favorite hacks and it’s saved me so many times from dying, just glide away from enemies with Pearl until your armor recharges and you’ll be good as new
One of the fastest ways to get to the top (and in my opinion the most op build) is having the tristrike special, 300% special charge chips and special charge when moving. You basically have infinite specials and the dps of tristrike is insane.
I did it with agent 4s palette and got tristrike from a vending machine, the most common colour chips for agent 4 are range(special charge) and mobility (special charge when moving) so tht helped. However i think its more consistent with the big man slosher palette as you already have tristrike and only need to get the chips
Booyah bomb, Killer Wail and surprisingly Ultra Stamp are also really good specials to have (if you use Stamp on the final boss when it’s shield is down it SHREDS it’s HP). Fizzy and Curling Bombs are also really good subs for movement and crowd control (also I recommend ink mines on Pearl, they can stack atop each other unlike player used mines which can be good for crowd control and any splat zone floors)
if you want easy mode just use charger and spam charge speed chips and ink saver main chips. If you want something more fun try combining this tri strike build with luck, since if you get high chains you can get tons of drone gauge charges to drop as well as canned specials for your base special. Hope that inspires you :D
You can turn on and off hacks, PLEASE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THAT. For example you probably won't want pearl drone to use sprinkler when you're playing as octobrush, so go to marine and adjust the slider for the pearl drone sprinkler upgrade to off. This also allows you to adjust chip bias as some palettes have really bad synergy with their biased chips. Oh and a small one is to use vending machines to an absolute minimum (life restoring only) if you are struggling. Continues restore ALL your lives so instead of maxxing out hindrance damage or pearl drone special guage, you get an extra however many lives you have. Not to mention those bonus membux will get you more pirlz (albeit not at as good of a rate as at vending machines.)
Here's how to become INVINCIBLE in side order Step 1 use prlz to get both amour regen to max and amour brake launch to second to max Step 2 glide all the way down every time your amour should regen before reaching the ground Step 3 somehow die anyway
I found an easter egg on accident early in my playthrough. I was outside the tower when this happened. I couldn't get it to occur otherwise. Yeah you can lower them to do the prlz hack and get more prlz. The least amount of hacks you have the better the multiplier. Highest is 3x which is great for grinding but very difficult. You MUST beat all 30 floors in order to get the reward.

I died at lv 29 on my first run 😭
and I thought dying on 28 on my first was brutal. My condolences on the hourish of your time wasted getting that third key
The replayability is good, but if there's no story/motivation, then why play? What, to beat up Smollusk for the 88th time?
so you cant go back to the plaza besides losing all your lives or giving up? and also wheres the shop?
Use a tri strike weapon or get it from vending machine when possible. It’s absolutely busted in the spire especially when paired with perks that allow it to be farmed easier
What do the key slots on the weapon palletes mean?
The key slots are how many keys are needed for completing the palette! Filled in means you got the key, blank means still needed!
You get keys on the boss floors btw (10,20,30)
all first key in 10f but the other one i not sure went floor is it
my grindy butt already 100% side order 😭😭😭
You got all Keys? What did you get from The Last?
@@bennet6730 it's a bit of a spoiler since I'm assuming you just added up the palette total with keys, so if you wanna go blind just ignore this reply
You won't know about the 12th palette (which will essentially be a challenge run palatte) until getting halfway through the locker. It has splat bomb and triple splashdown and is also a splattershot
Is there is a way to unlocks Marina hacks but not use some of them ?
I wanna buy them all for completion sake but i don't want to have most of them active because I don't want to make the game too easy...
But also want more than 3 hacks at the same time and want to keep the money if i fail
Don't really understand why we can't desactivate a hack we bought (i looked everywhere and found nothing, but i comment here in hope someone saw we actually can desactivate some hacks)
You CAN disable hacks by selecting the far left pip(?) on the hack you want, just move your cursor over the left most chunk. (As if you are downgrading your hack) The info on the right side should say if it is disabled or not.
Just wanna ask: did anyone else sorta brute force their way through like me by chance? (No upgrades) lol
I haven’t even finished side order once
I already beat it
What about the cipher shop?
Should I start side order with the no hacks challenge. Do I even get anything from this? Why... why am I doing this? 😔
When i died on floor 29, it cost 900 prlz to replay😳
Lmao I immediately went to the damage reduction hack when Marina opened hacks, because my autistic slow reaction time ass can’t play this kind of stuff for shit(dodging/squid ink roll/just not getting hit in the first place) 😂 whoops
4:25 I died on floor 30 and it did cost me 397 prlz
I feel like I’m the only one that’s having a hard time I haven’t even beaten the dlc😅I get to 14 then die lol I promise I’m good at the game!!
lol I’m kinda struggling with it too
Oh thank god I’m not alone 😂I saved and stopped playing at lvl 14. I was playing two hours straight. Had to stop cuz I was getting a headache 😅
I died at lv 29 on m'y first run! 😭💀
I finished it 100% completetion
i got one key form my player and is not easy to the others
i never reach the last boss at the end of the spire, is it the final boss or a normal boss ? because i don’t to finish the dlc to quickly
I dont want to spoil anything but there is a unique boss
It is the final boss, level 30. I just beat it. Wish it was longer!! But there's still so much to earn. I'm watching the credits rn lol
@@katherineamandab OH C’MOON, DOES THIS MEAN I HAVE TO SPENT 15 MORE HOURS SO I CAN GET EVERY PERMANENT UPGRADE ?!?!
(i upgrade the lives last 😉👍)
@@anisgamer8272 Yup!! 😂 That and opening all the lockers!
@@katherineamandab the third key is at final floor 💀
(pls give me hint to who is the : «final boss » without saying their/its name)
I’m always fighting the 2 same bosses 😭
by the way it costs 500 perlz for my floor 30run
Its Called Speed Running Lol
The last pallet hurts.... That is all
This video is useless. You need to clear the tower twelve times. Each weapon to unlock the octo shot. I was looking for a fast way to clear them. This? This is worthless
I have only played a few levels so far bc of work. #Splatgang.
Splatgang!
Spoiler alert:
I just beat the boss with the 4th different weapon and he does get harder x_x
He started throwing out Towering Nobilmentes (those sniper-ish tower enemies) and started spamming his Reef Slider attack more T_T Eep!
splat gang!! ^__^
