I dunno how metallic ink would work (that's kinda really specific to side order and wouldn't work with other players). The other stuff would've been cool though. A bit of a shame we couldn't have that in the normal game, but I get it.
I have beaten side order with all weapons except the slosher and halfway done with the roller: one tip is the pearl drone is op when you have ‘splat drone charge’ and ‘inkstike’ as when you splat enemies it fills up the gauge and the inkstrike activates splating more enemies and filling up other gauges
If you completely fill out the notes for all of a certain color of chips, you get a badge of that chip. You can see which ones you have the notes for by the 3 lines above them on the floor selection, and they are connected by lines on the collection screen. Seems that completing a whole row also makes the infinity icon at the end of the row glow, not yet sure if anything special will happen if you get them all
And Getting to use these weapons is amazing plus the fact The original Octoling gear from S1 is Coming back and the octo shot being unlockable makes this 333X times better
I've already gotten 2 banners, 1 weapon (Order Splatling Replica, - I think thats the name), 3 badges, and a bunch of gear for beating it, piece of cake! lol (Being sarcastic, it was really stinkin hard)
2:42 Note: getting the octo-shot replica is more than just a regular run, the octo-shot has less pallette slots the more hacks you currently have enabled. i can't really give any good advice since i beat the tower with only 6 slots but you're probably going to want to have some ink damage, refill rate and special can drop rate.
Something to keep mind with the octo shot, if you have any hacks while using the palette, then it takes away color chip slots. So you have to either use it with no hacks at all, or use it with hacks but have a limited amount. So far, I have yet to complete it because of how hard it is.
I did it on my second try woth a chop limit of 24, I dumped all my chips into crowd control, run/swim speed, and specials (splashdown is such an op panic button)
It's not that hard if you pace yourself, and take floors thay you feel confident in, when I did it I only lost one life with hacks and beat it my second try because I utilized the floor skipping on levels I didn’t feel confident in, although I did still some so I could be able to use the vending machine
Not a fan of the Order Suit and boots (too feminine for me). Wish they gave us a second alternative like they do with some Amiibo gear. I really wanted to have Acht’s hat and shades as playable gear though. Hopefully it comes out in an Amiibo 😮
I ended up finishing the Spire of Order for the first time today, with the Order Stringer of all weapons. Apart from that, ive reached floor 25 with the order charger.
Stringer is probably the second most op weapon in SO, aside from the roller Its damage output is really high, eespecially against portals, and has long range capability for sniping the running targets
i’ve only beaten the game once with splattershot and now i’m halfway through the roller (not rlly a skill issue more a time issue) however idk what i’m gonna do about the splatling cuz i literally suck at using splatlings even with all of side orders fancy gadgets and now i’m sad i might not be able to get the octoshot 😭
If you beat it with all weapons you get a pearl drone badge. If you beat it with 8's weapon and no hacks, you get a Dev Diary Badge. That's all that I know (excluding Cipher stuff).
I likehow the dlc for splatoon is like past and future because well of course inkopolis plaza is past and then inkopolis square is abandoned until when you beat the spire which... Us hard. Very hard
I am good with every other weapon except the brella, and i have gotten to floor 18 with it only choosing easy, normal, and hard floors, I'm not getting that mask or octoshot 😭
I wish the replicas could have either kit. The brella definitely got the worse kit which is so sad. It's not that fun to use even though it looks awesome.

Note that you also get special badges for 1 completing the tower without any hacks with Octoshot 2 buying everything in the shop 3 completing every color chip (the 3 lines need to be filled)
You mean the head gear?you get 1 for beating the tower with different weapons first you get the order regular replica second you get controller vm three you get the parallel mask (the mask in the inkling boss fight) and last you get the Pearl drone plush head gear
there are apparently more stuff to get. stuff from ciphers shop (you must beat the game first) and the parallel canon mask. (I don’t know how to get it but I saw someone with it)

I found it odd that the octoshot was one of my easier runs since I turned off all of my hacks and beat the tower. That was really fun to do
I ran with 2 Shot Speed, 1 Penetrate, 1 Damage Up and 2 Ink Refill up and I beat it in under 12 minutes with octoshot
I was hella disappointed that the order replicas are just reskins with no new kit. I love the Luna blasters but I hate the kits that come with it
