    I would advise everyone from this particular set up... I had a clog and had to take this monstrosity apart. I would recommend upgrading the hot end and mount immediately. I did however have perfect printing for close to 6 months.

    Literally the most inconvenient way to change a hotend. The blue part should just be able to unscrew, I need to remove it because my nozzle blew out and there's filament jammed up in it.

      @@Creality3D Don't make excuses for bad engineering just tell people to print a third party replacement that was actually thought out properly. Or heavily discount the printer because it is terribly designed to the point where the users have to replace parts immediately upon getting it

      you need to heat the hotend when you try to remove it

  • @catamaranman333

    Mine has been great....then terrible. Come to find out its NOT an all-metal hotend or extruder. They simply swapped out a problematic plastic idler arm for a metal one and called that an "all metal extruder kit". People like me come along and think theyre getting an all metal hot end or at LEAST an all metal extruder and therye getting neither. Mine wont print reliably above 240C (which is everything I need to print) so its basically junk to me. The hot end isnt an E3D. Its a clone with a shorter heat sink so there are no easy "drop-in" options I'm aware of. Its starting to look like major surgery replacing the entire print head because I suspect the extruder is not a genuine E3D either. Taking it apart it looks like a meth addicted monkey put in the threaded brass inserts that hold the print head together. Also, the part cooling ducts are melting after 6 weeks of use printing nothing hotter than PETG. If you cant tell, Im super UNIMPRESSED with my CR-10v3. I have an email into customer service so we will see what they say. I can tell you if I have to buy a whole new printer it will NOT be anything from Creality.

    • @amil89
      @amil89 ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly I love my V3 but that's because I knew all of these things beforehand. Creality really shouldn't expect everyone want to know that though. They need to market it correctly this is definitely false advertising.
      That said you can upgrade your heat break for 30 bucks or less and print up to 400° c

    Only had this printer for about 3 weeks and it's taken years off of my life. Printed decent for the 3 weeks and then the whole thing clogged. That red wire melted to the hot end and this video is wrong. You can hardly tilt the clear cover to remove the bottom left screw because the fan has a stupid lip right in front of it. We'll see when I get running again but so far it's been 2 days of headache stripping this thing down to each part.

      i had some trouble but its been working really well. the nozzle change wasnt bad and i was able to clear a clog in about 10 minutes.. make sure to have good gcode start and stop and use high quality filament. not the cheap shit

    • @martincerny3294
      @martincerny3294 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@darkd5ds these printers are shit, only reason to buy them is that Prusa doesn't make large build plate model. Electronics box is badly designed, the filament sensor that has such a high friction it stops filament from moving through.... only thing going for creality is the large community but V3 is not very common yet so even that's outta window. Sadly, I see no reasonably priced alternative as of yet.

      Mine running perfect , top notch quality & now no troubles , I’m new to 3D printing took a few months to learn but have tuned it all up nicely , you need to calibrate & do test runs with different slicer & temp settings etc, I need high quality so I run machine at about 40mm/s
      Add a BL touch but make sure you become good at levelling bed prior though
