Rick surrendering to his rage and taking in the hoard single handedly has got to be one of ricks greatest moments.

Rick losing his rage and taking on a horde solo is a nod to Tyrese in the comics. He gets locked in the gym at the prison when clearing it with the group and they presume him dead after he charges in angrily to the middle of the horde then when they come back to put him out of his misery he’s just chilling alive having killed like 50-60 alone in a tight space
this arc shows you dig a series of pits roughly 3 feet deep infront of your walls to stop trucks speeding in to bring down the walls
If you could gain access to a bulldozer or lots of manpower, a moat could protect a community against quite a bit danger.
Easy- basic trenching.
They have the machines but I bet it’s the look of it they were avoiding.
They should live in a keep above a hill and moat

The Governor, Terminus, The Wolves, The Claimers and many others-proves that if you let them live, they will come back and try to kill you again. Carl was right with the kid in the woods and Rick was right too with Pete
You're right about Pete but the kid that Carl shot wasn't necessary, he would have probably joined the prison group along with the other remaining Woodbury survivors and have possibly become an asset. His character was meant to be an innocent person that was unnecessary to shoot, it's why Carl still felt guilty about it up until his demise. Pete was an abusive prick, he deserved what he got and definitely would have been a threat to the Alexandrians (especially to his family and Rick) further down the line if he was simply exiled and not put down like a dog by Rick.
@@jerrythediarrheaseel3199 Carl told him to drop the gun, he didn't, and was walking towards Carl, meaning the kid was going to try something. It's harsh, but so is getting killed by a fellow survivor, or eaten by walkers.
That cutscene of all them cutting slicing down the walkers is so dope whoever edited that part is amazing. Gets you hyped and pumped as the quick slides capture everyone slicing
Morgan used to piss me off with that don’t kill anyone BS. That all goes out the window when they try to kill your whole community.

I've in the last 6 months to a year started TWD and finished season 11 shortly after it came on Netflix and I have to say your content over it is literally top tier bro. 1:02 I used to think the same thing, but now i think its the opposite. Being a doctor in that world has massive value, so I don't fully think hitting his family should be punishable by insta death. Then again, he did merc Reggie at the end which probably sealed his fate by Diana.
My watching of TWD was spotty in later seasons, post season 4, and this really helped me understand the various story arcs, thank you!

I remember audibly LAUGHING when Morgan decided to keep the Wolf dude alive and asked to get the guy treated by the Doctor after the guy TRIED TO KILL HIM 😂😂. I don’t care how much he was brainwashed by that “Aikido” stuff or whatever… that was one of the few times that I thought the writing was HORRIBLE lol. So unrealistic and silly!! 🥴😂😂

I love how casual the teasing of The Wolves arc was in the begging. The first tease is in the episode Tyreese dies. As they are trying to get back to save him, Rick crashes the car into a truck trying to leave and bunch of walkers with "W" carved into their heads and the show just plays it off so casually, they don't focus on it at all in that episode.
I’d love to see a video on the Coalition and a small breakdown on each community within
I think Deanna is probably one of my favorite Side Characters. She was a competent leader who had a good sense of right and wrong, but she was also willing to understand where her limits lie as a leader and chose for unity amongst the two factions, and even Backing Rick when he was Agaisnt her child.

I've watched every episode of TWD, all Spin offs atleast twice and I say... this is the all time favourite episode (IMO).
You may consider doing a fall of society video from the walking dead, fear, and Daryl Dixon.
I can't say I agree with saying Rick killed a man in cold blood since pete was the aggressor and just killed a man who was innocent. Rick put down a sloppy pos who beats his wife and god only knows what to the kids, it was a execution of his duties at worst.
rick leaving before michonne and glenn and making it back after michonne and the others will never not be funny to me. i know he got caught up and did side quests, but man was SPRINTING and still didn’t beat them 😭💀

Basically, Rick and his people ruin everything they touch.
Honestly I love what father Gabriel said to alexandrians hiding out in the church : “God will save Alexandria, because God has given us the courage to save it ourselves” and then proceeds to go out there and join the fight against the horde. It reminds me of that story where a man eventually dies in a flood because he kept refusing help from people because he thought god himself would come from the sky and save him, only to be told by god that the people, the boats, and the helicopters were sent by him and yet the man refused the help. I wouldn’t be surprised if Gabriel himself knew about the story and decided to not be the man who drowns, but the man who survives instead.

Tbh I thought it was unnecessary for the no way out storyline as a whole, so I trimmed it down as much as I could.

So the only thing that episode does for this arc specifically is give them the fuel truck and RPG
22:00 I've always HATED this decision. Not only have they just contaminated their water source with gasoline, but more crucially, now it's also contaminated with Walker gore. It's a cool visual I guess but it's a TERRIBLE decision
Was the pond their water source? I had the feeling they dug wells when building the community that connected to a different source.

The truck part is so stupid lol. No way the trucks starts to move due to the size of the horde. Not only does it require alot of -organized- manpower to manage to move a truck that size but the walkers themselves do not push, they walk into something and then change direction.
I really wish Jessie had survived. I know we wouldn't have gotten Rick and Michoone but still! She had potential.
She definitely looked the part of comic andrea. I wonder what it would’ve been like if they took that route with her

The muffling of the audio and focused close up shot on ricks face indicate it’s emotion building up.
You can hear michonne calling for rick to come back as he leaves the house, which he ignores.
Which reminds me of when he went ferel in the tombs after loris death, and he barely recognized Glenn, throwing him up on the wall.
The editing and quick cuts imo really give the impression they were going for an emotional angle instead of practical angle
