Contrary to many other guided meditations out there this speaker actually keeps quiet for most of the time in between his announcements actually letting people meditate. I really appreciate this. Could almost call it a semi guided meditation.

Hello, Would you comment on the preference to breathe in and out through the nose vs in through the nose out through the mouth? Not sure if it's a big deal but have wondered recently about it.

This practice helps me to recognize thoughts and senses throughout the day not only during the practice

You are able to recognize itch bec your awareness goes there. Try to have awareness on breath and itch will go away.
I breath through my nose. Is that wrong or just a more yoga way.
