  • Of all the stereotypes among car brands and the owners that drive their cars, Acura seems to fly under the radar and almost has no stereotypes attributed to the owners of the brand's cars.
This video aims to touch on some stereotypes of Acura owners from my point of view. Was I spot on for the most part?

Owner of a 2G Legend to 2G TL then multiple 3G TL. After waiting of 14 years for Type S return, decision of jumping the brand become more reality.
I still stay in touch with OG Legend and 3G TL owners and many of them already moved to bigger/better platform.
As you mentioned in the video they still have a old Integra/NA1 or NA2 NSX/Legend MT/S2k/CL-S/TL-S MT.
Despite I giving new Acura "shit" the only model relevant to buy is the ITS IF you can get at OEM sticker price (AKA no paint protection, no tint, no BS nitro fill tires).

I can't justify spending upwards of $60K on this... With that said, it's gorgeous! The front bumper inlets, and rear diffuser are stunning!

I understand same with the Civic Type-R and the ridiculous markup Honda dealers are asking for.
Unfortunately these are two hatchbacks that will be a better buy in 2 years on the used market. Much like how the TLX Type-S is starting to trend towards

@@MarcoTLX EXACTLY... I wish the integra type S had come out in like 2021 so I could buy a used one with relatively low miles right now for Maybe mid $30s

@@MarcoTLX The best part is I believe the car comes perfect from the factory. Lots of cars that we buy need tons of cosmetic and performance mods.
I'd say the type S already has beautiful ground effects all around, already super aggressive, don't need any more power going to those front wheels so no need for a tune unless we want to be spinning the wheels constantly.
So for me, maybe an exhaust and intake for a couple extra ponies, but mainly to bump up the sound aggression.
Some tints, maybe some simple h&R sport springs (But only if that gap between the tire and wheel well is too much).
And Maybe some other little cosmetic touches, But overall, it's basically perfect IMO.

@@MarcoTLX I'm holding man I'm holding lol... But my golf R was recently stolen and totaled. I want that freakin type S.
Believe it or not, The type S took out the MK8 Golf R in a drag race to the quarter mile and roll race. Couldn't believe it.. Well I mean I couldn't believe it beat it from a launch in the quarter cuz of the AWD system... That's how good this Integra type S is.
      Thanks for the reply bud

Go drive an ITS and see if we “settled” for it over a CTR. The only thing the CTR has that I wish the Type S had are the bucket seats. But that’s not a big problem since there are plenty of aftermarket options that offer better bolstering and less prone to wear.

hahaha this whole video was just for fun I know you guys bought what spoke to you most and most definitely didn't settle for the ITS (that imo is better than the CTR). I have yet to test drive one so I may do that this summer.
You guys got more aftermarket options than the TLX thats for sure. I can't even do much to my TLX-S and been wanting to squeeze abit more power out of the engine
