I'm not sure if it was given by an NPC or made available through progress (maybe after the mission to make "fruity rice balls" available after a fair obvious side quest that popped up in Garmott)
Jesuse Christ, this is exactly what I needed. Straight jumped to Affinity rank 4 too. And after running through towns for hours, doing random sidequests, because I thought that was what they wanted from me..
This is just poor gamedesign. Since you have luck on your side you could end up with Perun at an early stage of the game. On top of that, finding these 'good deeds' is easier said than done. Meaning Perun is a VERY useless blade in the early game. If getting great blades require luck then the developers should have compensated for each blade so their affinity can be upgraded regardless of how far you are in the game.
That's not poor Game design. The real problem is if you get her late and did all deeds already there is a possibility you can't unlock her level 2 at all, it seems. If you get her early there isn't a single problem as you aren't supposed to be overpowered early in the game.

Hi sorry I couldn't be here earlier. Back at the beginning of the game there was a guy who complained that he couldn't take credit for your parking fee at argentum. If you back and pay the 15g your gauge will fill up.
In case to those who can’t go back to Indol or just in general, I found a secret one that I don’t think many have though of So in Gormott, head to the Torigoth military base, and there just check each and every corner until you see a kid selling cookies, buy at least 1 or if not all of them and it will count for Perun’s affinity growth
To anyone who's missed the opportunity to do the two good deeds in Indol the girl selling cookies gets moved to the Gormott army base. However she and the refugees only appear there after (SPOILERS AHEAD) You defeat Amalthus and the Indol titan. With that done she appears in the base during the day and you can get the third good deed checked off.
Actually in that town of indoline there's a little boy with a trophy above his head if you buy his cookies that also count as a deed it's right as soon as you get into the town

Paying Hirkham in Argentum the 15G can also be used towards a good deed to unlock 1 of the 3 for Perun. When I got her and looked up her good deeds I found a list and so I went back and paid Hirkham the 15G for docking Azurda in 1st chapter and it gave me a 1/3 on her deeds. Also I don't have Morag in party yet, but still have to complete "Follow Bana to the Bulge Harbor and capture him" part of the main story...was able to find the Salvager guy and give him a golden Cylinder (Tho for some reason it's still in my inventory...lol).

Talking to him again did not open a dialogue that would allow me to give him. I also had Silver cylinders when I happened upon the other guy in Mor Ordain, and he also did not open up a dialogue that would allow me to give him one. Right now the requirement is stuck at 1 of 3 and I have no idea how the one got there. Maybe will unlock in new game plus or something, as I will have to put her away since she is forever a new character if you're blocked from advancing her affinity.

I’ve unlocked all columns and completed the previous skill (ancient wisdom lvl 1). But no matter what she won’t talk to me after resting at Corrine’s. I’ve already completed the game but haven’t started NG+. I’m starting to believe that after a certain point you just can’t access that quest or there is a bug

I don't know if it just unlocks later, but after I got to the next "continent" after doing Ursula's first Heart to Heart, I noticed it told me what to do to open up the next Affinity level when I clicked on it. You have to go back to Gormott, to the town of Torigoth, Abble's Fountain waypoint at night, and it starts her quest line. I'm loving her quest line so far!

I followed this guide and also went to indol and threw 1500 gold at the Milama Viewpoint and unlocked 3 of Perun/Tokiha's affinity levels! Thank you very much Jay RPG for your help!
I got the following at chapter two: Perun, Boreas, Gorg, Godfrey, Floren, Finch, Electra and Sheba. Mostly all from Common Cores too (I think about 70 in total for all of them). Once I got Boreas, I stopped the main storyline before boarding the ship to the World Tree and just went Salvaging grinding for Sheba lol
For me it was Electra, then Gorg, and then Perun. After that, I got Godfrey, Adeline, Agate, and Azami in that order. Perun and Adeline are my favorites so far.
As for me for the 3rd deed ive bought deserts from an npc with a trophy icon at the entrance of Indoline Praetorium and it counted for a good deed, thanks for this video though it has saved me all the trouble of struggling to figure out to unlock Perun’s affinity 2, i felt perfectly at ease after i found this video, im gonna sub to you as a sign of respect and a fan that you have earned from me
did all 3 mentioned in video, only have 2/3 of the way done T.T On a later date I came to the conclusion why I couldn't do it is I was trying to unlock it in chapter 8 right before the the point of no return section.
Lmfao i unlocked it without realizing and was panicking when i learned it could be missable after chapter 8. Phew thank god for my obssessive need to seek out sidequests.
Those first two worked for me (due to where I am in the game can't get any others) except I somehow got 1/3 before get the other two. Wish I knew where I got them so I could share.
Most people should have 1/3, I can't remember where I got it either, but it's so common among players that I think it has something to do with a forced sidequest/event/tutorial.

Sheeeeit. I tried with the regular Nopon Chess set. Was waiting until I get home to try with the *Coral* Nopon Chess... Lol, I think I will just give up on that blade. Everyone else is progressing really well.
Hmm, try a different time of day? Also make sure you have the chess set in your inventory, and Perun is engaged and selected as your blade. I always remembered him saying that he was fishing because he lost his chess set, he was feeling ok but his friend was still sad about it, as soon as I had the chess set and Perun out it prompted me to give him the chess set. (make sure it's the nopon chess set from argentum, there is another chess set you can buy in Fonsa Myma but it doesn't work)
I am pretty sure I just gave him the non-coral one. I am also fairly confident I completed the fishing kid's one sometime in Chapter 4 (at the very latest 5).

i got Godfrey first from a rare and Perun right after from a normal one. I'm glad i can finally use here, because i love her design.
Funnily enough, Perun is the worst attack blade and Godfrey is the worst tank blade.

How do you get perun .?
Man sucks that i got perun very early in the game cause i was going crazy trying to figure out what good deeds are because the sidequests didnt count

I followed this guide and also went to indol and threw 1500 gold at the Milama Viewpoint and unlocked 3 of Perun/Tokiha's affinity levels! Thank you very much Jay RPG for your help!
Electra was my first blade.
Then Gorg, Wulfric then Perun.
That's eerily close to mine lol. Electra was also my first, then Gorg, but I got Perun before Wulfric.
I got the following at chapter two: Perun, Boreas, Gorg, Godfrey, Floren, Finch, Electra and Sheba. Mostly all from Common Cores too (I think about 70 in total for all of them). Once I got Boreas, I stopped the main storyline before boarding the ship to the World Tree and just went Salvaging grinding for Sheba lol
For me it was Electra, then Gorg, and then Perun. After that, I got Godfrey, Adeline, Agate, and Azami in that order.
Perun and Adeline are my favorites so far.
As for me for the 3rd deed ive bought deserts from an npc with a trophy icon at the entrance of Indoline Praetorium and it counted for a good deed, thanks for this video though it has saved me all the trouble of struggling to figure out to unlock Perun’s affinity 2, i felt perfectly at ease after i found this video, im gonna sub to you as a sign of respect and a fan that you have earned from me

On a later date I came to the conclusion why I couldn't do it is I was trying to unlock it in chapter 8 right before the the point of no return section.
Lmfao i unlocked it without realizing and was panicking when i learned it could be missable after chapter 8. Phew thank god for my obssessive need to seek out sidequests.
Those first two worked for me (due to where I am in the game can't get any others) except I somehow got 1/3 before get the other two. Wish I knew where I got them so I could share.
Most people should have 1/3, I can't remember where I got it either, but it's so common among players that I think it has something to do with a forced sidequest/event/tutorial.
think I got one of the points with the Wulfric heart to heart in Fonsett (help the old lady)? not sure...

Sheeeeit. I tried with the regular Nopon Chess set. Was waiting until I get home to try with the *Coral* Nopon Chess... Lol, I think I will just give up on that blade. Everyone else is progressing really well.

Hmm, try a different time of day? Also make sure you have the chess set in your inventory, and Perun is engaged and selected as your blade.
I always remembered him saying that he was fishing because he lost his chess set, he was feeling ok but his friend was still sad about it, as soon as I had the chess set and Perun out it prompted me to give him the chess set.
(make sure it's the nopon chess set from argentum, there is another chess set you can buy in Fonsa Myma but it doesn't work)
I grabbed the chess set and changed the time around but the kid isnt taking it. Not sure what im doing wrong.
Is it possible it has to be the coral version?
I am pretty sure I just gave him the non-coral one.
I am also fairly confident I completed the fishing kid's one sometime in Chapter 4 (at the very latest 5).
