The thing about the Lucky Core Crystal, unless it works both ways, you need to get an quest/info about it from either a Nopon from Argentium or the Informant in Mor Ardain to trigger that monster. Though, from what you said, maybe you can get that monster to pop without all that too, I wouldn't know since I had a quest for it. You can also find a key to that gate near the port, by going through this tunnel under the bridge leading to and from Mor Ardain, to a secret area.
I was pretty happy to watch this vid, I just picked up the game and my first common core opening was Dagas and my second was Godfrey so it was cool to learn things I didnt know
This was actually beyond useful. I'm saving this in my playlist. I'm still pretty new in the game and I'm in chapter 6 with still a few questions. But one of the main questions I had was transferring blades. Now I kinda screwed myself but blame that on my inexperience of the game hahaha thanks man! I know there's a mystery dlc rare blade coming in Spring of 2018, but i really wish there were more rare blades in the game. 40 isnt enough, there's so many different combinations that we could experiment with if we had 120 or 150 for example.
It said rare blade PACK, so there could, and assumably will be, more than one in that pack, but we don't have details yet so, we need to wait and see what there is
On method I've found handy to farm core crystals is to buy 99 normal cylinders and head to Mor Ardain. If you then head to the salvage point at the dock where you first arrived, you have a chance to spawn a krabble that can drop common and rare core crystals at a fairly quick rate
Farm the red fox things in the belly titan or under the big tree in Gormott behind the large lake. High luck and high damage is recommened as they can drop rares often and also common but they tend to runaway at around 50% health. Kill them or topple them before that
One think to note is that the Lucky Core crystal, from what I've seen, can only be obtained in that one spot. However, you only just need to salvage there, meaning, there is no need for a gold cylinder (you could use a normal one and it should still work). Hope I was of some help, great tutorial btw.
Oh and my first rare summon was Godfrey... I got him on Rex ._. I think it's obvious I don't want Rex as a tank. Yet for some reason I have Electra engaged on him... Early game struggles. Also, Ursula has very stronk bear.
I'm currently only missing Ursula, Adenine, and KOS-MOS for the regular rare blades, Patroka and and Perdido for the NG+ blades, and all the Pay-for DLC blades. Any tips on getting KOS-MOS in particular?
if you have a four crown blade an max out its affinity and than release it instead of getting boosters you get an overdrive so you can move character unlimitedly as long as you have more level 4 blades
Can we get specific list for Foren's charm ability? I've noticed that there are some NPC's that only show up in specific locations and times which makes it hard and kind of annoying to raise his charm ability
These tutorials are very helpful. Did you get the game before release? I'm streaming the game but I'm curious whether I should farm things early on or let the game flow more naturally. I've got 3 rare blades and there's only one I feel like I desperately want and it's Kos Mos. Have you had success with her?
Nope, I opened like 99 core crystals and 20 rare core crystals yesterday and not a single rare blade popped up. The more rare blades you get, the harder it is to get a new one. I only have six rare blades to get, who are Kos-mos, agate, vale, zenobia, perun and ursula
If we got multiple things to say, the only way I was capable of getting some of my rare blades was through the DLC, and not only that, but you could get 5 Ov protocol which could help quite a bit. And In one of my core crystals I got Azama, I felt like the king of the world there. And lastly, I Personally don't like Zenobia, she just requires to get far in the game in order to properly use her, which means that if you get her even before you get mercenary missions, she generally becomes outclassed by blades like Acute.
Sheba was the first rare blade I got, did a loooot of farming before saving Nia in Gormott. Azami was the first RNG blade I summoned. 177 hours in and still missing 5 RNG blades, not once has a legendary core given me a rare ;w;

Think that will take a long time. First someone would have to get all of the blades, and then unlock all their charts, and then use them on different characters to rank them. Just use the blades you like, its a solo game so It does not matter if a blade is weak or strong? But if you want a stront attack blade try to get Perun.
So far I've been able to pulled a few rares so far. I normally save up 15-20 common cores and 2 rare cores. I normally get one or two rares with my luck at about 200 on rex. I need to find more overdrive things though. Those are tough.

You shouldn't need to progress any further to get Pyra's affinity up if you can see the condition (only ??? conditions will require you to progress or unlock something else in the game). It will just be finding the things you need to kill. I don't remember off the top of my head where they are, I think I just came across them as I was playing the game.

you get one in chapter 3 i think, or 4. and also the one he salvages is always the same spot. There are around 6 blades I think that you get from quests. You can find info on the internet, but you can be spoiled by the story by looking up rare blades.

people keep saying to use enhanced luck mods on common blades. Don't. Use treasure sensor instead. It's a battle skill and does much, much more for you than luck does.

Knight Snappy As far as I know, if you're referring to Lucky Girl, it's seems to only be useful for one of her Heart-to-heart quests. I haven't seen it, or needed to be used other than that, and it may be needed in a special Merc Mission.
Oh that's so far ahead of where you need to be haha. It was before you go to the abandoned factory, when you get the quest to head to the factory you can walk right up to the bridge and press A to lower it.
It's something I haven't been able answer for myself. I've had summoned Rare Blades using no boosters, some boosters, or max boosters. It could have something to do with Elements, Weapon types, or something else but I'm just not sure. We are probably going to need to compile a lot of data to find out.
Hey Jay, how are you farming for trust? Or rather what is the most effective way to farm trust? I've been constantly using one blade for a while and at only 10 points per battle it's becoming quite the grind.
Find their favourite Pouch item, and it'll give you trust points. You don't have to wait for it to wear off, instead just spam those items and you'll unlock new tiers swiftly. It will cost you but that's what salvaging is for..
All blades boost a stat of some kind (or at least, most do) I haven't found too many blades that buff luck but you can get them, just keep summoning commons and you're bound to end up with a few :)
I'm not sure if it is intentionally confusing or not but I have figured out that the part of the circle you need to hit for "Excellent" is reversed on chain combos compared to salvaging. So when you're salvaging, you want to hit the button on the inner circle (the area closest to the centre) but in combat you want to hit the outer circle. Hitting the inner circle during combat will spit back a "good" result. Other than that, it's just about timing your presses. I play a lot of music rhythm games so it's something that comes naturally to me.
Well I just released 2 4 crown commons and got nothing but a ton of boosters. I can't confirm or deny, but you definitely don't get overdrives every time from releasing 4 crown commons.

Zeke was never a hidden or surprise party member, he was introduced as a party member prior to launch multiple times by official Nintendo marketing. Several of the gameplay trailers showed him as your party member, it was never a spoiler. The other party member IS a spoiler, because they were never revealed to be a party member prior to launch.
Jay RPG its okay i was mistaken haha i realised youd hidden other members. Im so used to seeing the original trio in slots 1-3 that i never realised you hadnt hidden Zeke.
I am a weeb my setup was Rex: Mythra, Wulfric, and Sheba Nia: Dromarch, Vess, and Dahlia (You can replace Dahlia with any healer blade) Mòrag: Electra/Godfrey, Aegaeon, and Brighid I made sure that I gave mòrag the Afro right away (unlock Rapid Attack 1 in Rex's affinity chart and set Rolling Smash on 'X' use that right away to give mòrag agro then use mythra and spam your heals (anchor shot) along with Nia ou should be able to make Malos down to 2/3 hp and then a cut scene will play. Only switch off of mythra to do a 3rd lvl art to get the orb and then switch back. I tried to use blades that were easy to get (you only have to use core crystals to get Electra/Godfrey and Dahlia/any heal blade) you get all the rest of them through story or buying the crystals (Sheba, you get her from the inherited core crystal in torigoth, just farm salvage to buy it) (If you don't have Godfrey/Electra you can use any tank blade but it might be hard) (Also make sure you outlevel them a bit, gain do by completing side quests and resting at inns) hope this helped
That is pretty close to my setup. I had Nia as a dedicated healer with Dro, Vess, Dahlia Rex as DPS with Mythra, Perun, Zenobia and Morag as a dedicated tank with Brighid, Aegaeon, Kasandra Make sure you've got good pouch items set. I had a party member die once or twice during the fight but I always had enough party meter to revive.

This is because I don't have these blades and I can't get them anyway because the message that I can't resonate with any core crystals keeps popping up when I do and also could you give me an example of what a good pouch item would be

My first rare blade was Zenobia from a common core crystal, and she was my SECOND BLADE. Didn’t get any rare blades one for awhile after that... XD

If you explore Mor Ardain, you can enter the Old Factory Area before you should have access to.

It seems to me that many rare blades come with abilities you do not want. Things that HELP the enemy.

I'm having trouble getting Malos to even quarter health in the final boss fight with Jin, can somebody help?
I am a weeb my setup was
Rex: Mythra, Wulfric, and Sheba
Nia: Dromarch, Vess, and Dahlia
(You can replace Dahlia with any healer blade)
Mòrag: Electra/Godfrey, Aegaeon, and Brighid
I made sure that I gave mòrag the Afro right away (unlock Rapid Attack 1 in Rex's affinity chart and set Rolling Smash on 'X' use that right away to give mòrag agro then use mythra and spam your heals (anchor shot) along with Nia ou should be able to make Malos down to 2/3 hp and then a cut scene will play. Only switch off of mythra to do a 3rd lvl art to get the orb and then switch back. I tried to use blades that were easy to get (you only have to use core crystals to get Electra/Godfrey and Dahlia/any heal blade) you get all the rest of them through story or buying the crystals (Sheba, you get her from the inherited core crystal in torigoth, just farm salvage to buy it) (If you don't have Godfrey/Electra you can use any tank blade but it might be hard) (Also make sure you outlevel them a bit, gain do by completing side quests and resting at inns) hope this helped
That is pretty close to my setup.
I had Nia as a dedicated healer with Dro, Vess, Dahlia
Rex as DPS with Mythra, Perun, Zenobia
and Morag as a dedicated tank with Brighid, Aegaeon, Kasandra
Make sure you've got good pouch items set. I had a party member die once or twice during the fight but I always had enough party meter to revive.

Jay RPG thank you and I will try this but do you think I could replace Dro with boreas, Vess with Floren and dahlia with dromarch? This is because I don't have these blades and I can't get them anyway because the message that I can't resonate with any core crystals keeps popping up when I do and also could you give me an example of what a good pouch item would be
I am a weeb you just have to release some of the other blades you have. Go to the manage blades menu and click the release button on blades you don't want
