Excellent. You are doing great service to mankind. Here in India, I have learnt many yogasanas by attending RSS's free yoga learning camps. Though I had learnt Nadi shodhaka pranayama by an elder RSS man in India, I couldn't learnt Bhastika Pranayama from them to date. So thanks for teaching this to me. You are no less than any other Indian gurujis. I appreciate your service to mankind through Yoga. You teach really better than any Indian guruji'd. We admire you a lot in India. Great. My pranams to you guruji.
Thank you for your kind words Vikram. I am wishing you many more beautiful sessions. Sending you peace, love, wisdom, good energy and blessings, Michaël
I saw the whole video. For this 14 minutes, I felt blissed as how we Indians feel like when we are with a great Yogi and a great Swamiji. Very nice session. Thank you. I tried along with you watching this video here and experienced a state of bliss here. Thank you so much for taking me to such a blissful state here. Pranams from India.
This video is absolutely amazing. I appreciate the detail and honor your put into your videos. I have never seen such informative and loving videos. you are very quickly becoming my guru. I would love to see videos on your diet, what you eat, how often you eat, if you fast. Etc. ram ram
Better than a thousand words that don't help, is one word that does help. - Gautama the Buddha. Nine months later, I am still finding this one exercise extremely helpful. Thankyou, Michael.
Sir the sad part of reality , people who are genuine like you reach only certain level of audience , but people who made well established business on mining money by selling there not traditional and not scientific methods are doing more harm than good to millions of people who follow them . Sir why is that good people like cannot be such famous , so that people should deserve some one like you who can be a real guru and help them to improve their spiritual and materialistic life fruitfully
All things in life have their purpose. Everybody is free. All people are here for a reason. I totally understand your emotional reaction to living in such an upside down world. Yet we don't have to save the world, we are here to save ourselves and by doing so we become a source of love and inspiration for those around us. Like someone was told by God: "Your life isn't about you, it's about how you touch other people's lives." So go within and search for the Love and Light within. I have learned to respect the freedom of others and not try to convince them all the time about what truths or beautiful things are available in the world. Let it be, because being is what we all came here to do, isn't it?
I'm someone with very bad breathing habits ( lifetime mouth breather, bad habit of sucking air with a contricted throat, probably not help by small jaws and narrow nasal passage+ living in polluted town : Chiang mai😮💨). Love all your breathwork explanation and specially this bastrika: energizing and in the pause very calming for me; it also feels like I stopped breathing in those pauses, no more throat constriction: so relaxing!!!! If only I could keep that feeling going for 1/2 hour or more I think my meditation would become very easy and fruitful!!!Thank you Michael!
Michael, new to your page, I found the kundalini breathing first, and now I'm here. I love it! You explain everything so simply, and you encourage me to go at my own pace. Thank you!! Lots of love from Barcelona

Peace and good vibes!
Thankyou for your crystal clear explanation and guided practice, Michael. Early days as yet, but I am finding it most helpful. Again, Thankyou. I have edited this video to its second half of the actual practice and added three more repeats of the final third round. Six rounds of bhastrika in all. I have been doing this practice pretty every morning since 3rd January. Now today 18th March, I find my lungs are much healthier, and quite coincidentally better prepared if I am infected with carona virus. Thankyou, Michael. And ThankYou, MaLord!
Great to hear that David, I am happy to hear you are prioritizing some of your life-time to work on healthy mind and body :) Peace and blessings, Michaël
Still doing the bhastrika practice. Not every day, but enough that I can actually feel a long-term difference. Still get a buzz with that first set of forty reps. Thankyou, Michael

Dear Michael thank you very much for this new lesson. During this pranayama l must use mulabandha for my pelvic floor! Thank you for your answer. GOD BLESS YOU. Cecilia
I really enjoy all of your breathing videos. You're guiding through the techniques in such a pleasant way, that I feel drawn to practicing even more 🙏 Thank you so much 🙏
Dear Michael, thank you for the detailed video. Can you pls share the purpose of neck extension and flexion with certain inhales and exhales. For eg. During the kumbha, neck extends back with inhale. Or with mahabadhas.. what is the anatomical and physiological effects of chin down. Thank you so much.
Namaste Ankush, the techniques are very similair however: Bhastrika is forced inhale and exhale . Kapalbhati is only forced exhale, effortless inhale. Those who become more aware of the effects on both body, mind and energetic system will feel a great difference between the techniques. May all be blessed with peace, love and wisdom. 🙏💖 Michaël
The term Mahabandha means... Jalandhar, Moola and Uddiyana Bandha practiced in Bahya Kumbhaka. In Antar Kumbhaka one can apply Jalandhar and Moola only. ( Throat and Chin Lock). The other explanations are very simple and so easy to understand. Enjoyed 🙏🕉️🙏
Great video. Just wondering if you can elaborate on bhastrika vs kapalbhati as I've having some difficulty understanding the difference between both (in terms of how they are performed). Thanks..

Thabk you so much for sharing. Can you please explain part with pelvic floor... Do you constantly hold it it or only when breathing in and after that let go every time?
Dear Grace, I hope you are doing well, and I hope you are doing the whole pranayama course : yogalap.com/courses/breathwork-pranayama In that course you will learn all about these techniques and deepen very much your knowledge about mind and body training. It is normal for beginners...your body is not used to the increased circulation...do the rounds slowly...and perhaps only 1 or 2 rounds...it will get better with time and practice.
