I think your explanation is great but I still miss a part and that is after editing how do I save it! I can save the photo but I don't see my background transparent
great video, I just started photoshop in November and haven't quite grasped how to use channels, I feel like a lightbulb just went on in my brain after watching your video, thanks!
Word. I paid several K to learn "basic photoshop" at an on-line design school and totally so not understand this program at all. I think I'll stick with you as my teacher.
bro i must have looked at 15 different videos before i found this one and you are the only person whos been able to explain this in a way that makes sense. thank you!!!!
Thanks a lot Brendan from a hobby photographer. You're making it easy to understand and not rushing through it, assuming the people watching know as much as you do. Awesome
Finally i stumble upon something usefull other channel are bombarding me with option within an option which is confusing and hard to understand Thank you very much sir for sharing new subscriber here from Philippines
Amazing, glad I could help! You can find more details about the pen tool and ways to use it here: bwillcreative.com/2019/05/12/how-to-use-the-pen-tool-in-photoshop/ Enjoy!
Hi Brendan, very nice tutorials and videos. Your calm step by step explication is exactly what is missing in most other photoshop tutorials on TH-cam. I highly recommend your work to beginners and advanced users. Keep up the brilliant work you do. Thank you. 👍🏻😊✅👌🏻
I think I might be in love with you. I've watched 5 videos about this same thing, but none of them made perfect sense to me until this one. Dude, you are a fabulous teacher. Thanks so much!
Definitely is a bit of a trying tool to learn. It gets easier and easier the more you use it though. Mind reading is one of my many gifts... just kidding
pen or path tool..one of the best tools in Pshop since it's incarnation for cleaning and even doing sharp and precise linear illustration....use it a lot very time consuming but very clean and sharp output...thanks 😊 for this tutorial.
I've been doing photoshop for over a year now, and just found out about the channels method for cutting out... subscribed to find more useful things. Great video btw :D
I have worked with another program for years, in fact I was a moderator for their biggest website. But support for that program has been discontinued and I've finally decidedI need to break down and lean Photoshop. Most of the tools are the same but finding them and the shortcuts has been a pain. Your tutorials are very helpful, so I wanted to say thank you for teaching an old dog new tricks.
This was an EXTREMELY helpful tutorial! I almost gave up cutting out palm trees in a beach image. Watched your section on cutting out the bridge, and it worked perfectly. Thanks!
Thank you! I appreciated that you explained which technique to use when. I was aware of these methods but didn’t know which ones to use. Excellent explanation of all methods.
Thank you so much for such an easy to follow tutorial. I was trying to cut out some trees and bushes from the bottom of one image to put in another and it was so easy using the second method.
Very impressive! So happy to see this at a time that I need it the most! Thank you. I do wish you wouldn't talk so fast though. For me it's harder to really get and absorb what I'm learning if the narrator is going too fast for me. This video I will watch several times. Loved the breakdown of all three tools & love the pen tool! I've been using Photoshop ever since Adobe came out with Lightroom and they merged into a monthly subscription, a subscriber since then. My point is that I've never learned the pen tool and now I see how valuable it is! All the tools you talked about have an amazing place in editing photos and thank you so much for your presentation of them all! I wonder how many other people have really just heard about a tool they've never used and are amazed at what they've learned! Hopefully lots! Great job! Now just work on slowing it down a bit when you present it. That's for my sake anyway so maybe not a nice thing to say. You're on your way to an amazing career! Cudos!
Thanks Brendan. Very clear and well done and at a pace easy enough to follow. I only periodically use many of PS CC features as both an amateur photographer and PS CC user; your approach and presentation really helps in getting to results with minimal learning curve. Looking forward to other "how to's" . Thanks again.
After hours and hours of watching videos on how to cut out parts of an image, this one by far was the most useful! Thank you thank you! You saved me like 40 more hrs
Very helpful ! Still a bit advanced, but learning step by step. The channels method I really wanna try more - seems like a good way of getting better at the inverting as well
