This is better than thousands of masterclass out there
There are endless ways to add sharpening and light to any image, it's not about a "masterclass" it's about familiarity with how Photoshop works (you don't need Lightroom) and having some vision about what looks good. You get that by GOING TO THE LIBRARY and taking out ART HISTORY BOOKS. Not by copying some character on TH-cam. He is good, but he's certainly not breaking new ground.

I don't photograph people, but I do a lot of pet portraits. I really like the results you get with people and I am trying to modify the settings to work with dogs. So far, I really like what I am seeing, especially with the 20/10 technique.

First of, when I saw the kit you used for these great photos I was kind of relieved. After watching some videos on how to do portraits it seemed really complicated with lots of different lights, softboxes, umbrellas, reflectors etc. But this shows that it don't have to be that complicated to get fantastic results.
Second, I have done most my editing in Lightroom since I feel like Photoshop have too steep of learning curve. Anyway, I went and took a picture of myself and followed along in your workflow and.. WOW it made a huge difference :). A great workflow to have in the "tool belt". Thank you Glyn for sharing this!
