This is prob, the best video about selections and integrations on PSD on the history of TH-cam. Thank you so much for not just repeating what the 99% of the other channels do.
Full round of applause! I myself and a beginner in photoshop and you blew my mind with how easy and efficient these tricks are! I honestly subscribed the minute you fixed the color of the edges, you definitely know your stuff!
I've watched your video and i must say it was great to learn a lot of Photoshops details paying attention to your explanation. Thank you very much for sharing this.
Incredible tutorial. Thorough, well paced, spoke clearly. Very helpful. Thank you Cristi!
How could I not subscribe after such an amazing tutorial.
You are a great teacher!
Great video. I took hiatus around 2018 and a lot has changed since then. I'm glad to know that my initial theory about the techniques used have not changed.
It's one thing to "Defringe" and allow the automation to make key assumptions about your intentions. A more narrow field of "spray and pray", so to speak.
However, taking the extra steps to refine the mask and Shifting Hue & Sat of infringing outlined color is so perfectly surgical that it helps keep professional retouchers employed. A few extra seconds can be all the time in the world when you're trying not to be replaced by cell phone applications.
No doubt that using this tutorial will produce the best results for those interested in or earning a living through compositing images.
Thanks for the work you're doing here. Your content is always clear and succinct, plus you stay on topic.
I have been able to get back up to speed on all the enhanced capabilities in PS and LR thanks to your content. I feel like just saying "Thanks, bro" wouldn't match the quality I've received.
Cheers!
I think this is great! Been doing this for years and just now starting to test out adjustment layers to select better detail
thank you for this! i struggle to absorb the information in a lot of adobe tutorials i watch but this one was actually super helpful and clear to understand.
Fantastic! These are the kinds of Photoshop techniques that separate the pros from the amateurs. Non-destructive editing, great use of adjustment and clipping layers, other things I know I should be doing but usually don't 🤣
Subscribed.
You explained this really clearly, I think even kids would would be able to get this! I wasn't necessarily looking for this tutorial, but I have definitely learned something, and will hark back to this in times of need!
Dang ... now I have to go back and edit years and dozens of images using this technique! *subscribed* 😇Thanks Cristi!
Thank you so much for this one! I am totally new in this app so I'm still looking for some tips for newbie like me. This is the most helpful one. So much options. Thank you again.
this is what I call an excellent adjustment technique! the last part really amazed me, to be honest. thank you so much for showing us this technique, Cristi! 🙌🏻
So happy you find it useful! Thanks for taking the time to leave some feedback here. :)
@@CristiKerekes which vertion r u using of photshop
Great tutorial. In the latest part, if you add a complex background, with many different colours, instead of the solid colour and the mask, you can have a copy of that same background (with the mask), and the colour details on the leaves (or whatever you have) will match the background perfectly.
Woohhh!!!! This is the type of tutorial I waited for, thank you master 😅.
Thank you so much, this was a great how to video!!! It was straight to the point and everything was explained in an easy to follow way. 😁🙏🏼

A lot of thanks for making and sharing your video!!
Nice technique. I usually use an inner glow on the cutout layer which does the same thing as your colour layer.

Thanks so much.. finally I find it 👍🏻👍🏻
it works thank you!
Wow. Thank you. I find PS masks completely non-intuitive, and when instructed, people race through it. You explain things so much better. subscribed.
THANKS BRO
But on the hue picking if you had any blue in your image it would adjust that too, this only works if the fringing is a different colour to the image
Very Practical👌🏻🙏🌸
This was really helpful! Thanks a lot for sharing it!
Thanks man, your feedback helps! :)
Funny 🤣😂 and the pro advice really made a difference for me too
That is a dope technique!
thank you so much
Hey! Would you have an advice on how to cut out an entire photo so to keep only the analog border frame of it so that I can use it in other photos as a layer for example?
This is so amazing
this is just amazing
Any idea how to remove the color bleed on the edges that seeped in from the background? Not casted light onto the edge, but the background color 'stuck' on the cutout edges.
Thanks for the really nice tutorial.

Thanks so much kerekes...you made my day♥️love you from india...also you got a subscriber😊
Thanks for this video
You're amazing!!!!!!! Thanks so much!
Great video Cristi! I'm wondering if this approach applicable for portraits? It's really hard to select hairs and replace background. Especially when trying to replace light background to dark for a blond person
Well explained 👍
Thanks a lot this is very👏🏻👏🏻 helpful
I think what not talked about enough is, using the "minimum" and "maximum" features on a masking layer. Its not as good as this, but it is very good in it self and it very fast and easy to use.
Exactly what I needed, even though I wasn’t searching for it! The TH-cam algorithm read my mind 😅.
Believe me, it worth to subscribe!
You’re so brilliant I’ve subscribed
First timer, Cristi, but I had to comment which, I rarely ever do.
The reason I felt compelled to respond is because of your, (to me,) original and most ingenious method of suggesting a Like and a Sub. BRAVO ZULU! What a refreshing change from,
"Be sure to subscribe so you don't miss anything."
I hope you start a new trend and oh, BTW, a darn good clip on the difficulties of masking with the auto functions of PS. Again, well done.
PS. I subscribed. 🙂
Great...never know this before, thank you so much 😆
Happy to help!
Good job ! Thanks
really great tips! haven't seen this before, thanks 😉
Thanks a lot!
good stuff ... thank you
Amazing Pro tips sir...
I'm new to Photoshop, and I got lots of images, and I've want to crop like this... It's amazing what you can do. So far, the program is a pain in the ass to learn, but hopefully i catch on quickly.
From 5 months i am trying to find best technique and now i had found it
Uau! I achieved! Thanks! Gratitude!!!
