This is awesome and I'm printing out a set now. Have you thought about running fillets around all the top edges? That way you wouldn't have to razor blade the edges.
Wow.. been trying to make a long lasting pedals... seems your have made one... about going to print it now thank you for sharing !!
what a high-quality job! Fascinating, good job!!
How is the pot shaft coupled with the spur gear?
Also, is there a standard stiffness for spring?
Also also, why does the clutch pedal have a shaft inside the spring and others don't?
I slightly modified and made your design. Thank you for sharing
Thank you very mutch for all i have make them and this is sick❤❤
Lovely build, thanks for sharing, liked and subbed.
Did you also make the steering wheel setup? Also any plans for making an h pattern shifter to go along with the two? :)
great project! this ist, what i was looking for. i disassembled an old pedal-unit from a thrustmaster steering wheel. the potis are the same. i assume, they run on 5v, cause you wired it to the arduino, right? so what is mmjoy2? as far, as i understand, its an interface for arduino, so you dont not have to write your own sketch, and it provides a virtuell joystick, that windows can "see", right? i want to use this for MAME.
oven spring hinges work great
I can already see my feet pounding the brake pedal to dust.
me too, i have european size 45 xD
what you using the brakes for man? should only be using the accelerator for MORE POOOWWWWEEERRRR
@@void3923 Brakes are used for slowing down usually
@@shatterpointgames wtf is slowing down?
Maşallah, çıtayı arşa koymuşsunuz 👍👏👏
Nice build! Do you also have a link to the sketch?
i'm bouta make my own whole diy setup
Can you link a source for the springs?
thanks for the video, really motivate me to do this racing video game controller setup. i want to ask if i can also connect the potentiometer for steering wheel with the pedals to 1 arduino leonardo pro micro ? thanks
Nice racing shoes! Could you use a load cell for the brake instead of a potentiometer? Awesome build, never done a Arduino project before but I don't own pedals or a wheel ATM so I'm tempted to give this a try!
Yes, you can use a load cell too. It outputs a signal similar to a potentiometer. The harder you press the higher the signal, which the Arduino can read easily.
Hall effect sensors give more precise actions might be fine for eurotruck but it is required for racing games
Hi, mate! This project saved me ton of time both in design and print as quickly I needed pedals to repair a Logitech Momo set for a friend. I upgraded them with RC shocks and am pretty happy how it turned out. I wanted to ask - what is the licensing for that? I would like to share my extension of the design so other people can download and use it for free too if possible! Cheers ;)
what microcontroller that you use for this?
Do you have link for those springs? How thick spring wire did you use?
where can i get the springs?
what type of arduino did you use for this project?
where are the STL files for the clutch spring thing ? thanks :D
Ilge, for what are the gerber files?? because you didn't use it on the pedals
Güzel olmuş devamını bekliyorum
One thing I'd do different is Hall effect sensors instead of pots but good job, these came out great. How are they holding up 2 years later?
I actually do these projects by developing them at different levels, from simple to difficult. It will be improved in the next versions. thanks for your comment
Fusion veya STEP dosyalarını paylaşma şansınız olur mu? Mümkünse elimdeki 2020 profillere uyarlamak istiyorum da.
Hey, can I use Arduino nano it's like a clone to Arduino pro micro I think
great preject.. thanks for share
Approved 👍
what pcb did you use?
i wonder how long does PLA hold all this
Where did you find those springs?
THANK U VERY MUCH, i wanna next film but with H-shifter, would you do it?
He did it already
Search the channel name İlge İpek
Is there any other way to operate this build with a arduino uno ?
Can you explain how you got the PC to read the input from the potentiometers. Im trying to do this but don't know what code to write for the computer to regonize this as a controller :( I'm lost id be willing to talk to anyone over discord if they know how
could you tell me where to buy Brake Spring OD:28 mm L:80 please
Hi how its going? can i ask you for the fusion 360 files? i would like to make a few modifications
hi, what code did you use for the arduino?
good work !
I used this with arduino uno running unojoy and it works
Sir can you make shifter and hand break
Good job! What's that small IC chip you are using?
If you are referring to the small blue one he wired all the potentiometers to, it's an Arduino Pro Micro. For most projects like this you would use a Pro Micro or possibly an Arduino Uno, as they can operate as keyboard / mouse / joystick on computers.
@@truepennytv I believe an Uno doesn't have HID compatibility. The Leonardo does. I would suggest a teensy though. Since they can read potentiometers at a higher resolution. The Pro micro (and leonardo I believe) only do 10 bits (1024 values over the full range) where a teensy can do up to 16 bit I believe (or even 32 Idk). 16 bit would give you 4x the resolution so 4096 values over the full range. Especially if you're doing a wheel. You'll need a fast microprocessor for accurate high resolution encoder readouts. I'm building a wheel which uses a motor with an encoder on top of it that reads about 5 steps per degree of rotation. If you flick the wheel 180 degrees within half a second, you need to make sure that it won't miss any step of the encoder, cause if it happens too often it could result in a weird offset from straight.
how can i buy the springs ?
Hi. Can you post the f3d file?
Where can i buy spring like this?!?! Help please:(((
Hello! I printed these pedals and put them together. I noticed 2 problems: the springs fly out of the mountings. And the upper spring mount prevents the potentiometer gear from turning.
He used glue to hold the springs in the mounts
hey, do i need a breadboard and 2 resistors to make the connections ? like for the pedals and the steering wheel (with shifters but no ffb), and which resistors do i need ?
Hey Wilson, you can get the details on my blog: ilgeipek.com/sim-racing/diy/pedals/
@@ilgeipek_en really cool ! Thanks a lot
hi what arduino code did u use
nice build ,now you only have to make a gearbox for your set :)
This needs dejavu
What cost is it?
I cant find springs
Those springs are not enough for the immersion, apart from that build quality is top notch
just buy a damper and increment in the project
I need a set of pedals for a spare gaming rig - something to use with Mudrunner/Euro Truck and the like. These look fine for that purpose.
@@marcosdimoise8662 what is a damper?

Great project i wanted to buy this from logitech but they have hiked the prices and i have a prusa so I'll make this for my birthday gift
Abi kablolu kulaklık yapar mısın ?
Gear stick next plz
wow 💥
So nais man! I want a steering wheel with force feedback and a H-Shifter! That will be awesome
U read my mind
I cannot get the games to recognize the mmjoy. They always say controller disconnected when using an input. Anyone else have this problem?
Soon this will be the only way to drive an ICE car.
Abi sana nasıl ulaşabilirim yerin nerde
abi pedal gaz yayı silinmiş yok linki yenilermisin
can u make a h shiter next vid
potentiometer is a failure point, hall effect switch would not only be much easier, (cheaper), but it won't fail.
Hocam DIY 3d printer projesi gelir mi acaba ? :D
başkalarında gördüm ama adam işin uzmanı felandı ve pahalı ve karmaşıktı yapımı. bunun basitliğinde bişey gelirse gerçekten çok iyi olur
can you do handbrake?
Sure! I will publish my handbrake video soon.
damn these shoes bro
How much would this cost me?
what are the spring wire diameter anybody?
Plz make a gt steering wheel
Next is the shifter
Hello, Can i use Arduino Uno R3?
You can't....sort of. Arduino leonardo has USB HID controller, and Uno don't, so you will not be able to program/flash the Uno with the used software

Can i make it on arduino uno?
i dont think so try getting a cheap Leonardo for like $15
