Strange, my company was called 11th hour inc / 11th Hour Clean and I owned/created the business that cleans crime scenes. I was also messed with severely throughout my career/life... as well as my sister, mother, all of us.

Wonderful! The length was perfect, I like how you got right into the story without too much fluff then ended it right when you should have. Good job!

I love the lack of exposition and context, really adds to the mystery and made the piece unpredictable. I did not see the twist coming. The payoff was excellent. Would love to see more content from you. So much talent all around. Bravo.

I knew something was right.. when I seen her with the shotgun ... ** she really wasn’t having car trouble... he should of left after helping her ... her offering him food was a red flag 🚩..
Moral of the story: Dont trust strangers, by all means help them out as necessary but keep your distance, even if she is 'pretty' looking.

This is very well done. Minus the radiator hose like everyone else said. From the moment she didn't answer his question about where the meat comes from, it was pretty obvious the woman isn't right. But, I get that the temptation is HUGE for anyone who hasn't had meat for a while.
I wouldn't trust that girl for a secondddd, was way too eager to get him to stay lol
As soon as she said, “i have some meat”...i was like, dude...just get on your bike and leave!! It was the way she said it...uh-uh, No ThankU ma’am, Buh-Bye. But there was that high powered rifle. No way out!

What camera do you use?
For this we shot on the RED DRAGON, I believe. Every film is different, although the RED is certainly a wonderful camera.

I watched it was some first and second's that I know in the business and an editor when we got home from the DGA awards. I grew up with Ed. Funny, we lost touch when he moved from NY. Anyway, we loved it. Great eye.

Not suitable story. No one eat something in this condition that someone injured in front of one guest and he eat something instead to look about injured man's care.

How much does it cost you to make such great short film?
Hey thanks! It depends on a lot. We made this for very cheap (under $1,000) but we pulled a LOT of favors that we built over a long time. We also had a very very small crew (if you check the credits, we only had about 5 people on shooting day.) Ultimately, my best advice would be to just go out and shoot something. Even if it's on your phone, just to get practice. Volunteer with other people so you can build up favors and then cash them in. If we didn't do that, this would've probably cost somewhere around $10k.

And this is exactly why I would move on and leave her ass there needing help...Fuck that, in those times where we know an Apocalypse took place i'm out....First off during these kind of things people usually don't offer up their food just like that especially since it's so hard to come by....Smart people ration...Her over eagerness to give me food would have been a huge red flag right there....I loved the acting in this film and you did great with it but I did see the plot coming....Then again I am a writer myself so most times I see what's coming....It still doesn't take away from the good job you did on this....
