You know what would make the film even better? If at the end we realize that their mother died as well, but this girl can't let go of her mother the same way her brother cant let go of their father.

halfway through the movie i thought everyone except him died in a car crash or smth and he was imagining her too
that wouldnt of mattered because we never see the mother. if the sister was an illusion, would of been better

The edits and shot compositions of this film are beyond outstanding, but the acting is abysmal.
Colin Scott Farnham the guy playing Evan did an incredible job
This was honestly so powerful; it definately produced sensitive perspectives that are not typically expressed

This was wonderful! I had hallucinations at one point back when I had Schizophrenia, they were always creepy and horrible, though. Made me suffer. I love the idea that hallucinations and voices could bring back positive recollections, though. Despite it being an illusion, still good for the soul.

Nice watch...If only real-life worked that way...down that path would be the abyss for the young fella. Those actions are DEEPLY disturbing; not a mere transient coping mechanism.

The in the first 2:00 minutes I have so many questions like: Why is he eating ramen with a spoon? Why did he make the noodles if he wasn't going to eat them? Is he aware that there are starving children in the hood that could have eaten those noodles? When will these questions be answered? Tune in next week to find out. 🤔

Too late to reply I also did not understand the plot but then a comment very close to the top helped me understand that the boy used to see his father, who had died I guess. In the end the sister decides to let him live like this without meds which he was already not taking.
