Me too, I watched this video hundreds time and never ever thought of that. He is really good in catching something behind the song. Thumbs up for his work! 👍👍
There is really no connection there tbh.. you can clearly tell thise screams are from excitement, screams of terror are very different and gut wrenching. Theres a lot of dimash performances where you can hear such screams and yells. Some people are a bit crazy for him, that's all that shows.
@@NoUsernamae I think you have overshot the mark. Sir Hairless was stating that the audience's excited screams were REMINISCENT of what occurred during the cable car accident.
Thank you as always for your fascinating and succinct explanations, Sir Hairless, and I am also very glad that you went into this song with the knowledge of the tragic backstory. Whenever I rewatch this performance, and many others from the Bastau concert, I am in awe of how Dimash, at such a young age, managed to portray such a wide variety of deep emotions, using both an airy voice to portray vulnerability and his intense mixed voice to convey agony and despair. In the lesser known song "Amanat," which I hope you will react to eventually, Dimash also makes use of a delicate, breathy sound. I think we are very fortunate to have a singer such as Dimash in this world, and I am also grateful that we have a knowledgeable musician like you to explain the many intricacies.
Oh thank you. This performance is incredible. Dimash is definitely not ill here. He pours his soul into this. His vocals are stunning. I've seen this many times and it brings me to tears over again. I absolutely loved your reaction and interpretation to the music and the story and Dimash's vocals. This performance is jaw dropping.

I think we all have our "cry-songs" by Dimash.. mine is "Ikanaide". The other is the one he sang/composed when his teacher died. Do you remember the name? He is with a woman playing piano and then she dissapear from the piano but the music goes on. ( my mother played the piano and it's like... she is gone but the music/memories goes on.. ) When my mother passed away Dimash came out with "Ikanaide" too. The lyrics, the emotions.. his eyes are shining. I was... crying!! the lyrics say"don't leave me" etc.. It was a relief to listen, to cry, just dealing with loosing your mom.. "Marigold" is me and my moms song ❤ Greetings from Norway 😊

Absolutely brilliant SH! Thank you for bringing this tragic story and heartfelt performance to us and unpacking it in your amazing Sir Hairless way! Totally stunning! 😍 🙏💫
“Daybreak” - At his first concert in Bastau: This song tells the sad story of a Chinese boy (Quon Yan), who along with his family, suffered a cable car accident in Xingyi city in Guizhou province, where many people died, but the boy's parents held him up with their hands and he survived, though the parents died. The song was written and composed by the boy's adoptive mother (Han Hong) and Dimash sang the song for the first time in Mandarin on “The Singer 2017”, but he had a sore throat and sang through injections. The doctor said that if he sang high notes, he would never sing again... He sang! Then he made this wonderful version, already cured, at his show in Bastau!
Thanks for another great analysis.. I really appreciate the time you must put in making your videos, your knowledge and sincere reactions and emotional response. You pick up on so many nuances and your explanations of musical points increase my appreciation of the music even more.
There's actually interviews whereDimash speaks about this... He has improved his technique to fall more on his shins than his knees... Yeah I still wince but he's alright actually

Hi handsome hairless. You're really sooo handsome!! And smart!!! A great musician!!!!🫠 Is the first time I see you, and I loved your detailed analysis... and your accent, and your voice... hehe... well, new fan and subscriber here!!🙋♀️❤
Samaltau is one you might really enjoy - a Tokyo Jazz Festival performance leaning heavily into what I assume is a traditional Kazakh style. I'm not sure you've heard much of that traditional style yet - it's probably my favourite 'version' of Dimash
I never thought of why they left the screaming in at the beginning, but now that you said it Sir Hairless, I can’t hear it any other way. Great reaction, as always! Thank you ❤
Very difficult emotionally. Rare one which actually manages to make my eyes wet, so usually I prefer to avoid it. Any child needs parents, growing up without the sense affects all the life. Dimash obviousely is very close to his family, so can appreciate the feelings and music reflects each emotion so well too.
God blessed him with such a gift, because Dimash has a grateful and loving heart; not everyone can share their unique talent with others so generously and honorably
Yes, the way Dimash p look rtrays the anguish of the child is powerful. Not just his voice, but clothing, mussed hair, facial expressions, and gestures also. He really immerses his whole being into the story- fully engaging his audience too. Another Masterpiece. ❤
Who wouldn't want Dimash to sing their composition. I cannot imagine the freedom a composer feels when writing for him. Thank you again for pointing out the musicality of this.
Thank you for this reaction. I believe the "It's Daybreak" represents when he parts with his mother's memory. Now, he can only see her in his dreams. So, he loses her when daybreak comes.
Actually it's about his mother encouraging him not to give up - Daybreak, morning is coming, there's still hope for rescue- Han Hong wrote this song as a tribute to the sacrifice of that young couple for their son - she adopted that young child - Daybreak is written from the young boy's perspective of the last time he sees his mother and him pleading with her not to leave him all alone in the world
@@Hope.hisj58jf57Yes, but the backstory is a thrue story about a little boy loosing his parents in a 🚡 cable car accident. And the original songwriter adopted the boy and wrote the song.
I was in awe of you mentioning the fans’ screams and how they fit with the mood of song, and the falling cable car. Wow! It gave the song more impact for me. I loved your dissection and analysis about keys, percussion, instrumentation, etc. Thank you for insights into this song. ❤😢❤
My friend! You have outdone yourself! As has been said by others, I also have not heard such a deep explanation of what the music is SAYING, in conjunction with the words Dimash is singing. I am in AWE of the knowledge you possess, and as much as I LOVE this song, I LOVE it even more, now……. I am humbled to be able to witness this beautiful story, as you see it. As a musician, I am sure that ALL that has gone into this piece, speaks to you, on so many levels. Thank you again, for touching me with your music, as Dimash touches all of us. Maybe some day, you will honor us with your story? ☺️❤🇺🇸
Thank you so much for this reaction, I was waiting for it since your first reaction to Dimash. As you, I think this is a heartbreaking story and this interpretation, for me, is beyond perfection. I always cry when I watch it, and I think the vocals of Dimash here are incredible, and the emotions that he is capable of deliver...specially that part when he does that inbelievable run..uff, I love it. I love your analysis as well.
Dimash is an amazing storyteller and you are an amazing musicteller, and when you two merge together, it's a dream come true. Teacher Hong's composition is a work of art (by the way, she also "adopted" Dimash😁), made perfect by Dimash's arrangement, performance and production. Thank you SH, you bring so much delight with your analyses ❤😊
Your insights into the sounds and the story are giving another dimension to this song that I have heard hundreds of times. The real water in the background symbolices the waterfall the cablecar was headed to. The pained part of the singing is the little boy s feelings.

Who wouldn't want Dimash to sing their composition. I cannot imagine the freedom a composer feels when writing for him. Thank you again for pointing out the musicality of this.
Great reaction, as always.Thank you ! Please react War and Peace from Dimash' Digital show. It's his composition. ❤❤❤
Thank you for this reaction. I believe the "It's Daybreak" represents when he parts with his mother's memory. Now, he can only see her in his dreams. So, he loses her when daybreak comes.
Actually it's about his mother encouraging him not to give up - Daybreak, morning is coming, there's still hope for rescue- Han Hong wrote this song as a tribute to the sacrifice of that young couple for their son - she adopted that young child - Daybreak is written from the young boy's perspective of the last time he sees his mother and him pleading with her not to leave him all alone in the world
I think Daybreak represents the Hope- light after darkness.
Thanks so much for another great reaction! ✌️❤️
Gracias por tus reacciones a Dimash.me encantan.Si puedes reacciona a THE STORY OF ONE SKY,veras todas ,as voces de Dimash.Es maravilloso.❤❤❤
Brilliant!! Thank you! 🤩😍😘🌹💐👍❤️🇨🇦
That's very kind of you to say
Thank you very much for your kind words
This song makes me cry everytime. Thank you for the Reaction
Otra Obra Maestra de DIMASH, y otra gran reacción de Sir Hairless 👍👍
❤🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻 Thank you ever so much for your words and respect to Dimash, gracias! 🌹🇪🇸
Hola!! Gracias
THANKS for your reactions to Dimash!!!!……a beautiful and sad song…….amazing Dimash……
SH you are stronger than I am! I’m usually a blubbering mess by mid-song 😢
Your insights into the sounds and the story are giving another dimension to this song that I have heard hundreds of times. The real water in the background symbolices the waterfall the cablecar was headed to.
The pained part of the singing is the little boy s feelings.
Hi from Mexico! Thank you for your great analysis and reaction! It's very interesting to learn the many things Dimash chooses in order to convey emotions and give us an unforgettable experience in every song.
Btw, thank you so much for giving us such insightful, detailed, & complete analysis of the composition in songs & the meanings behind each choice singers make. You are one of the only reactors who take the time to go this deep. That says so much about you as a person & your love of music. We are so lucky you share that with us ❤
Thankz for your comments, they open up an entire new world when listening to his songs.
