Димаш единственный из известных мне современных певцов, который с любовью знакомит своих поклонников с музыкальной культурой разных стран!
Dimash is the only contemporary singer I know who lovingly introduces his fans to the musical culture of different countries!

Thank you - and I’m glad you discovered this side of Dimash, which is by far my favourite. My Western ears hear the melody lines that have the ‘out’ notes as implying chord changes against the drone, eg the line with the flat 2 implies a change to Bm/C#… I’ve heard Georgian songs with similar melodies harmonised in this way.

Hello dear I agree with you, Sir H or music, he is not commercially minded - and does not pick up the latest Dimash songs, but he has the respect for Dimash to first achieve a number of views on his own Dimash channel, his compensation for the work and money has been invested in it, - that makes Sir H positively exceptional from the other reactors, that's right Sir H didn't report but just went to Budapest, his analyzes are of high quality, greeting from Nederland

For Armenians, this is a very important song because it shows the longing and loneliness of people separated for political and other reasons. The history of the country is very confusing and in fact families and close people could not meet each other for a very long time. It was dangerous for everyone.

    • @mkhasen
      @mkhasen 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

Aha, now more understand the meaning of the song, it echoes with another Kazakh song Doimash performs Samaltau that is also about separation of the young soldger from his motherland and family.

Hello SH! Long time no see reacting to Dimash. It's not a criticism. 😓
This song is amazing and his performance is very emotional. For me, at least! 😢The sentiment that I've got makes me want to cry, because of the way that he sounds, the "noises" he makes. It's sad song... Dimash's hability to convey the emotions is very strong in every song, but I think this one, is the most powerful and emotional. See you. Stay well and healthy. Bye

I love when Dimash goes to ground.
    His kneeling is vulnerable, intimate.
He sings with an exposed guilelessness
    eye level with the audience
    His heart cracked-wide open
    And as the listener,
    I kneel beside him
    and feel the floor-boards
    vibrate and resonate, too.
I'm so drawn to ancient languages and the infinite
possibilities of the human voice to convey so many
    emotions --beyond the translated words.
It's a whole other way of listening and experiencing...
It reminds me of M.C. Escher's black and white sketch of a winding staircase.
Thank you Sir, for helping me to understand more about the artists I love.
I'm definitely drawn to Dimash's quieter, more emotive songs.
So I'm not quite at the level of a Dear.
    I'm more like a baby-fawn.
It will take more time to earn that 'a' :)

Thanks again for that very interesting and educative reaction, Sir H. As an opera fan, I'm not familiar with the eastern scales and modes, eventhough listening to Dimash helps getting to it!
Hope you will react to 'Know' soon '-)

Oh, the pain in the music, the words, and every note Dimash sang were palpable 😢. Who cannot relate to missing a loved one? Who cannot relate to this performance? I do not envy them. To feel and love is such a privilege.
Wonderful vid, thank you 😊 ❤

thank you for another great reaction and analysis. I was at this concert, it was amazing of course, but watching the replay from this fancam version has even more impact from the repeating again and again, the concert itself is quite ephemeral.❤❤❤

Dimash always shows such reverence and respect to the countries and peoples he visits. I love his Kazakh songs, as well as other unique cultural musical pieces. I love “Samaltau”, especially the one at the Tokyo Jazz Festival. It is so,ovina and personal to Dimash. T would be wonderful for you to react to this, and “Adai+Daididau”, Bastau 2017? These are such classic Kazakh themes, and Dimash’s reverence for his country is so evident. Thank you for explaining the different and unusual ( to those of us unfamiliar Eastern musical sounds)melody, as well as the deep imagery of this beautiful song. Always a pleasure to listen to you. ☺️🇺🇸

Armenia Sareri Hovin Mernem “Ill Die for the wind of the mountans speaks of a deep sorrow and longing for a lost love. The lyrics express a desire to die and join the loved one in the afterlife as it seems impossible to go on living without them. The chorus "Hovin mernem" and "Poyin mernem" repeated throughout the song mean "I shall die of sorrow" and "I shall die of pain" respectively. In the first stanza. Dimash says that they will die of grief because their love is gone. In the second stanza, the singer states that they will die of pain because their hearts are broken. Stanza three tells the singer he is seeing their love in their dreams and not being able to forget them, which only increases their suffering. In the fourth stanza, the dimash expresses a desire to join their love in the afterlife, to be with them forever. her, so that you can climb to me." This line symbolizes the singer's devotion to their love, even in death Dimash end this song for Armenians with the imitation of an emblematic wind instrument of this country: the Armenian Duduk a type of hobo made exclusively in apricot, whose history dates back about 3,000 years, tears with this song always - thank you so much Sir H of Music🎵 I was looking foreward to this -the fancam of Dia Linwen are of good quality, kind regards from Nederland
