Dimash promised his Spanish speaking fans a song in their language, and this song premiered at the Almaty concert on September 23, 2022, the first concert of his current "Stranger" tour. The lyrics are very important to this song, The different personas and voices imply a philosophical conversation between states of hopelessness and despair because of the darkness of life (black) vs the hopefulness and light that comes from embracing love instead (white) which in turn engage our feelings and touch the heart (red). Dimash's live performance in the last part as a contemporary man against the giant figures which represent different human states of consciousness brings this it into an experience of life lived fully in the moment with all three states present and acknowledged and wholly integrated into the here and now.
Rather than creating cognitive dissonance by presenting opposing views, Dimash creates cognitive consonance, a state of harmony between competing emotions, beliefs and values by blending different voices, traditions, tonalities and styles (even expressed in his dress) into a gorgeous tapestry of sound and color that expresses the rich fullness of life. I was reminded of Walt Whitman’s line from the poem “Song of Myself: ‘I am large, I contain multitudes.’
Dimash does contain multitudes, and his art elevates the conflict from a two-dimensional dark vs light, good vs bad, true vs false question into a three-dimensional experience that frees us to live fully from the heart (hear how his high notes soar above and weave it together) without becoming overwhelmed by life's problems or denying the reality of life's darker aspects. Two dimensional conflicts often paralyze us with feelings of helplessness and despair and limit our ability to respond to life's storms appropriately, but when we get to a higher point of view, embrace a higher state of consciousness at the soul level by tapping into the love and peace within, we become the masters of our lives and not the victims of circumstance, and we can act with passion and confidence in the middle of the storms and, with open hearts, let our love within flow out into the world.
Dimash's stated mission, to bring unity and peace to the world through his art, is very much evident in this piece. Like in "Story of One Sky," he is very intentional about the message that we need to accept all there is and allow all to have a voice and a presence, not to silence or disappear what we do not like or understand, in our selves or in the outer world. The darkness is our reality as much as the light; the work of our lives is to create a harmonious whole through love that expresses our full humanity.

You'd have to understand the lyrics to understand the point of the three/4 Dimash's.
It's about counteracting the dark points in your life with hope and love.
This was Dimash's solo concert in September of 2022. It was performed immediately after his Magnum Opus, The Story of One Sky and gave him a very necessary few moments to recover from singing that.
He wrote the music himself for this piece, handed it off to the lyricist and then had 20 days to pull off getting the whole holographic feat accomplished ready for the concert.
Personally I think it's a stroke of technological genius, each character reflects the section they are singing perfectly and then Dimash combines it with the incredible riffs and runs that he's renowned for. Absolute genius for a concert of this size, (35,000 people). The whole concert was of a standard that had never been witnessed before from anywhere in the world.
Quite frankly you could have stuck any part of it in the middle of the Superbowl and people would still have been stunned.

Also, obviously you have checked only one style of songs from Dimash. He has songs which are totally different, without wide range or vocal effects, just wonderful emotional singing. I love all.
He made all this presentation in 20 days, he learned the lyrics in Spanish because he wanted to present it at his concert in Almaty, fulfilling his promise with his Spanish-speaking fans. We all know that Dimash is a big fan of Michael Jackson and we love that. It is a wonderful song that shows not only his powerful and beautiful voice but his great creativity. We love it.
No matter how hard you'll try, you won't be able to fit Dimash into a box. He's a free spirit, unique, and has enough self confident to do as he wants, to try different and crazy things, without the need to apologize. Thanks for your reaction.

Dimash premiered two of his own compositions at his concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan in September last year in front of 30,000 of his countrymen and fans from around the world. Both amazing - The Story of One Sky - three years from pen to film for the music and script - a powerful statement and his message for peace; and El Amor En Ti (The Love in You) - neither opened the show but I believe both were performed in the same set of what was a 3+ hour concert.🙏🏻🇦🇺

Having been hosting huge stadium solo concerts around the world for years, these R&B runs are nothing new. Dimash's creativity is off the scale and he knows what his audience likes, but he always comes up with these amazing performances to surprise us. Long may he continue. Now in the US and meeting people like David Foster Walter Afanasiev. He was also approached to meet with Hans Zimmer while he was in Germany appearing with Ralph Simon. These top music execs are all wanting to work with him. Now on another world tour with so many concerts lined up in Europe, UK, Eastern Europe, Malaysia, and Turkey, to name just a few. Dimash on his way to world domination. I hope its ready 🥰

it's quite a futile endeavour to try & predict what Dimash will bring to the table (so to speak) because he has so many ideas & thoughts going on in his mind...he is that once-in-a-lifetime artist that is not afraid to experiment with his craft, to improvise, to bring together different types of music to create something that no one has ever heard of...the musical journey that he takes his audience to is magical in its entirety...his visions are beyond the norm & not everyone will be accepting of his music...but Dimash is unapologetic about this fact & fully understands & acknowledges that...he knows what he wants, the direction he wants to go & the "sacrifices" he needs to do to make all of his dreams come true...& he is truly lucky that he has such an amazing & talented creative team behind him to help him achieve his goals...
And by the way, this is not the concept of the concert, it's just one song towards the end of a 4 hour concert, during the rest of which he just sang normally on stage. It is important to understand the context in order to judge, otherwise you are making the wrong conclusions. As to this song - it's an absolute masterpiece and the performance fits the lyrics very well.
Dimash in black is about 70' tall and the white and red are 50'! Dimash jumped off of the 70' tower at the beginning of the concert. This is his 1st song in Spanish and what a gift to the Spanish speaking world! Thank you for your reaction and analysis of this unbelievable masterpiece and what a production!

Love your reaction. I highly recommend that you watch the premier of "The Story of One Sky" by Dimash. He performed it just before he performed this song. He composed the music and worked on it for 3 years. After you see the live performance watch the music video. The video is so intense that many people do not hear some of Dimash's great singing. You will be amazed. I think it is far and above anything else he has done.

This performance was in the last set as was his other premier masterpiece The Story of One Sky which was performed just prior to this. I think part of this song was recorded to give Dimash a little break after the extremely difficult song, (another premier) he’d just performed!

It is about focusing on the light inside each of us no matter how much chaos and storm we go through. Brilliant, creative artistry sung with full body and soul of Dimash. Magnificent performance . Dimash may be continuing his musical evolution. Recently Dimash moved to the USA and met with David Foster, with whom I believe he is now collaborating. So, more R & B may be in Dimash's future. However, whatever direction Dimash decides to go, all of us Dears will surely follow.

It's been two premieres in one - his first song on Spanish, and the first time he had three singing holograms perform together with him on stage! There's the amall white hologram on the right, the red one on the left of the stage, and the black was right next to the projection in the middle screen... And the true Dimash singing life on Stage... Most gorgeous boy band ever, a one-man-choir Dimash Qudaibergen ❤️🔥 It's been absolutely stunning to experience this life!! All three parts are definitely worth watching, those close to four hours of music will leave you speechless... Loved your reaction! Thank you! You really need the lyrics to understand this song. You may want to read the English translation to get the full meaning. Dimash is talking about human emotions and how to deal with them, how to accept that darkness, fear and turmoil is a part of us, but also not to stay in that darkness but to actively bring forth the light and love, to feel it and share it. It is very hard at the moment with everything that is happening in the world to hold on to hope and not to wallow in despair, anger, fear and suspicion. This is a song to encourage every person to reconnect with the beauty and light inside, to deliberately change the way we feel in order to save ourselves and others.
When Dimash finished filming the mini-film MV of his song The Story of One Sky (something that took 3 years to bring to fruition) I saw a deep change in him. In public performances his eyes seemed full of pain and sadness. I think it took a lot out of him. He chose to act out a part in that MV that took him deep into the horrors of war. If you haven't seen it yet, please consider taking the time to do so. IMHO everyone should watch it. Most times we live in our safe bubbles of 'life as usual' and rarely spare a thought of what it is like for others who may be facing things that are barely imaginable. Dimash wants to share that with us, and then to say 'please be one of the people who do the right thing'.
I see El Amor En Ti as having been written by Dimash as a reminder to himself that the darkness inside is a means to an end, it's actually there to encourage us to rise above it. Without the darkness we could never fully experience love or light, or see the beauty that is all around us. The translation of the title 'The Love In You' takes a different meaning when looked at in that way. This is a love song, but not the usual kind.
Singers and superstars around the world should listen and learn from him.

Dimash had just finished singing Requiem: The Story of One Sky (his new master work) a 10 minute extremely taxing highly emotional song and needed a break for his voice to rest. The production of El Amor En Ti (another of his composition masterpieces) was a brilliant way to allow him rest time then to appear toward the end of the singing trio to add the live pop elements to the song. Bonjour,si vous suiviez Dimash depuis 2017,vous ne seriez pas surpris de son évolution .il n'est pas qu'un simple chanteur.Ses études prouvent qu'il est bien plus que cela.Tout ce qu'il entreprend,est fait avec intelligence et sans compromis aucun avec l'industrie de la musique qui n'est pas encore prête a comprendre un artiste tel que Dimash.Il est aux États-Unis actuellement, on verra bien ce que cela va engendrer.

I too L❤🔥V his DEEP rich tones!!! I GREATLY appreciate Dimash's theatrical presentations, the drama, the thought and carefully crafted staging for each piece he performs and epic cinematic quality he brings to his concerts. THINK about how much more work that is as opposed to just preparing to stand at a mic and sing. I recently saw Lea Salonga at the Rady Shell in San Diego. It's a very large stage and venue; she had a 4 piece band on this giant stage, NO visuals in the background on a screen, no back up singers, just a dark blank curtain behind her and the band with nothing on the sides of that huge stage, and she just stands or sits at the mic and never moves except her arms, hands and head for the entire concert!. She sings every song with the same vocal dynamic and color and volume intensity....the soft in every song is the same volume dynamic and the loud parts are at the same volume intensity so that every climatic moment in each song sounds exactly THE SAME!!. After an hour, I was ready to leave - SO boring!!! And she wore clothes in front of this huge audience like she would wear at home or to visit her neighbor! She is a nice singer, standard broadway voice....very good, very trained, but sounds like just about any other broadway voice I've ever heard, NOTHING unique or creative in her delivery, she sings songs just the way every other broadway singer would sing them - predictable from start to finish. Bocelli, great voice, great amazing breath control, gorgeous sound; I've seen him 3 times and would see him again, but as wonderful as he is, it is .....just a great voice; not taking anything away from the wonderful gift of music he does give, but I much prefer Dimash's epic cinematic presentations....the surprise ride he takes you on in his songs, where he constantly amazes his audience with his unique epic arrangements, vocal stylization of each song and his carefully designed cinematic presentations......genius!! Nothing boring or predictable in Dimash's work, it's all mind blowing and amazingly one of a kind pure genius!!

Эту композицию Димаш написал сам по просьбе испаноязычных поклонников , а лирику написали мексиканские Dears по просьбе Димаша и за короткий срок ему пришлось выучить текст на испанском языке ! А жакет Димаш выкинул на предыдущем выступлении с песней , которую тоже написал сам Димаш «История одного неба» где он исполнил на разрыв аорты и сердца ! I think as a vocal coach / singer you really should have had the English sub-titles on screen when possible to enable you to relate to the subject matter of the composition which in this case clearly distinguishes the three different Dimash characters / costumes symbolic reference: Black ( the dark side of the character with dark rich tones, stage lighting indicates; White, his alter-ego brings light-hope to his despair: bright tenor voice: Red, represents the passion of life, the meaning is quite clear in the lyrics. He ends the song with a pop influence which diversifies from the opera set to his signature pop-opera style which he is well known for of which you must be well aware of by now. "Drama "“We're actors - we're the opposite of people!” “Overcome the notion that you must be regular. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary.” Drama is well intended, especially playing to an audience of 30,000 I am sure you are aware in large stadiums the artiste must be larger than life so to speak to communicate like old silent movie stars in silent movies or else all will be "lost in translation". Personality is the glitter that sends your little gleam across the footlights and the orchestra pit into that big black space where the audience is. In a live performance, it's a collaboration with the audience; you ride the ebb and flow of the crowd's energy. . Думаю, Майкл доволен Димашем и любуется им) а что касается подражания- да нет конечно- Димаш берет такие высоты и возможно его стиль совпадает с Майклом- ведь есть люди похожие друг на друга- а в этом конкретном случае- похожесть в голосах и отсюда,в стилях исполнения

From what I’ve heard, Dimash premiered this - his first Spanish language song - immediately following the premiere of his live performance of the epic The Story of One Sky during the Stranger concert in Almaty Kazakhstan. I gather that the audience was unaware they would be experiencing two premieres one after the other. If you haven’t seen Requiem: The Story… you may not understand the sheer physicality and deeply emotionally draining element of the piece. I suspect that this song was designed to allow Dimash a brief break from live singing before he rejoined the “ensemble “. From the snippets I’ve seen of the concert, Dimash laid all his energy out there. Truly, what’s better than one Dimash? Two Dimashes. Better than two? Three. Best of all? FOUR! :).

This was right after his introduction of the new, and lengthy, emotional, The Story of One Sky, so it gave him a breather backstage. At the end of the song, he, in his usual fashion, turned and thanked them for their help with the song. Song was in Spanish,as promised to his fans, and for those who do not speack the language, subtitles will help to understand the point of each of the figures.
This was the premiere of this song, as well as The Story of One Sky, at Dimash’s Almaty concert in September 2022.
My take on Dimash: he is a creator, an innovator, and as such has pushed the boundaries of vocal music in new directions. First, he mastered the technique of singing, from classical to modern in all its genres, passing by ethnic genres. Then, he extended his range so that for every song he sings, he chooses the type of voice, range and styles for each section, each sentence, or even each syllable, as a painter would pick colors off his palette. Then, he and others such as Igor Krutoy composed freely now that their composition didn’t need to be limited by vocal range. Next, as he filmed more and more music videos, Dimash became interested in the film medium as a full partner with vocal music instead of a presentation medium only, resulting in his seminal short film of The Story of One Sky, which could be described as a vocal concerto. Here, in El Amor en Ti, depicting the push and pull of darkness and light within oneself, Dimash explored the use of several screens to produce this mix of four voices, the baritone, tenor, and soprano in classical style, mixed with the pop (indeed reminiscent of MJ) style. Now, with his scholarship for a year-long internship in film directing at the New York Film Institute in Los Angeles, I await with baited breath the new frontiers Dimash will pioneer in vocal music!

Dimash is forever changing, always evolving musically. Of course this song is about love. The title means The Love In You. Did you read the subtitles? The Mexican fan club translated it for us. And Dimash wrote the music, the other person Regina Maria wrote the Spanish lyrics. Stranger is the name of his tour and a name of his song, if you hadn't checked it out, you should. Also this was towards the end of his concert, and it was smart of him to use the projections/recordings as the song before that was The Story of One Sky another masterpiece of a song, but also very demanding, vocally and emotionally. If you hadn't checked that one out either. You should. This concert was September 23, 2022.

Dimash's solo concert in his hometown Almaty !! .. the city was in turmoil for several days with the arrival of 35 thousand souls who arrived from more than 60 countries, many crossed oceans just to see it, the news from Kazakhstan was engrossed with the tide of loved ones who had booked accommodation throughout the city, Dimash is undeniably a world-class artist despite not being linked to production companies and record labels... he's unique and great!
