    Thank you for such a detailed video👍
    All of such coatings, regardless of price, will tenaciously repel water up to a certain duration often dictated by its price point.
    The real difference that separates out a truly 1st class windshield coating is the total absence of WIPER JUDDER afer a few weeks of application where the wipers have been operated for at least 30mins under all sorts outdoor conditions all the way to the eventual death of the product.
    You should periodically follow up with the car owner to check for the possibility of wiper judder….the biggest issue with any rain repellents at any price point, and the most shunned topic when it comes to discussing rain repellents.

    I live in the south and have a car that sits outside year round. Needless to say, cleaning of the windshield is a daily affair regardless of rain or dew during the night. Also there is constantly bug guts. So my question is what do you use for daily cleaning of a coated windshield?
    As always a great video, thanks mom.

    • @greatestNothin
      @greatestNothin 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If I had to daily clean it would be done with a Big Red Sponge that stayed in a bucket of ONR. If it's a lot but guts, a jersey sponge works great on glass. But definitely ONR.

    Nice video! Looks like a promising product. I wonder how it would do in a comparison test versus McKee’s 37 Glass Coating? McKee’s 37 Glass Coating is a spray and applies very similarly to Optimum Opti-Seal or Ultima Paint Guard Plus, although you do have to buff afterwards to avoid any high spots.

      @@attention2detailswchelseaagreed. I recently got rain x wiper fluid and with the first rain I immediately made the decision to strip it off the windshield and flush it from the fluid reservoir. Horrible product that leaves a dangerous white film when the wiper goes over it.
      Switching to the ceramic coating and will never use rain x again and recommend nobody ever even tries it.

    Had high hopes for this and it was underwhelming. The hydrophobic’s you see are deceiving. Brett reached out to me after I posted a video on my channel and stated it was not as hydrophobic as other coatings to me via email. You will notice it once the glass is actually washed and not from a spray bottle. I too was like ok the hydrophobic’s look good when I sprayed the glass with a spray bottle. But the first wash was the true sign. Bummer as it could have been a winner. Hope they tweak the formula.
