      Safe lite auto.
      I bought a new windshield and told them I did not want it.
      That windshield was bunk, so they replaced it and gave me the ceramic coating for free since it was their fault.

    The demonstration needs an airblower. The water that beads will just slide off. The water sheet is stuck to the windshield in between wiper swipes making it more difficult to see. The camera angle from inside the car is what matters most. From the outside you can't really see the true benefit of using this.

    Will this make it easier to remove ice/frost in the winter?

    • @tmuldown
      @tmuldown 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Abslutely . It adds a slick, hard coating to the glass. We will try to video the results this winter. Thank you for your suggestion.

  • @MyGuyKirby

    Is the second coat required to go the longest time? Waiting 2-hours is not possible for professional use nor the DIYer that needs to run errands between applications

    • @tmuldown
      @tmuldown 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      One coat is fine for the vast majority of applications. We get asked about adding additional coats or layering frequently. For my cars I used one coat of the Invisible Glass Ceramic and use our new Hybrid Ceramic Rain Repellent & Glass Cleaner from time to time.

    what is the actual ceramic? SiO2? SIC? Also, does MM thickness refer to micrometers or millimeters (latter would be extremely thick for a coating (.5 centimeters = 500 millimeters)).

    Good stuff, but that glass was already stripped. It's not that easy to strip the glass. Takes a but more elbow grease.

  • @charlessalard4636

      Until your wipers smear it all over and any light reflecting on it will distort your vision. The side with protection will either clear itself if traveling 40+ mph or the wipers will clear it completely

    The WORST product to put on glass.
    Safe lite put this crap on my windshield after I told them not to.
    Its garbage stuff.
    My brand new windshield streaks and renders the wipers useless.
    I have scrubbed the windshield with alcohol several times to remove the coating.
    Its almost gone ~ a year later.
    Never put this garbage product on your car.

      Get silicone wipers or little secret add ceramic coating to the wiper blades. Once the 2 surfaces have similar friction resistance they glide like butter
