  • @youngblood4127
    @youngblood4127 4 ปีที่แล้ว +48

    Nah. Charles Barkley rightfully deserves the 93 MVP although this was Jordan at his physical apex. The closest thing to a perfect player is Jordan in 91-93 & don't worry there are other players that comes close to being a virtually perfect player in specific season - (Hakeem, LeBron, Bird, Magic, Wilt, etc.) But A lot of people bring up Scottie Pippen winning only 2 games less the following season in 94. Well coming into the 93 season - The Bulls repeated in 92 & Jordan and Pippen immediately went into the olympics to perform on The Dream Team. Upon return they coasted the 93 season only winning 57 games. Had Jordan & Scottie probably not gone to the Olympics, the Bulls would've far surpassed 57 games that year.

      Yawn. The TRUTH is Pippen was way more important to the BULLS WINNING GAMES. If Pippen had left in 93, the BULLS would have struggled to make the playoffs. Look what happened in 98 when Pippen missed about 30 games. Heck, look what happened in 94 when Pippen missed 10 games. The team went 3-7. Has Pippen not missed those games, they would have won 60 games. There's a lot more to basketball than just chucking up shots.

Remember they were the only team to have home court advantage over the Bulls in those finals as they actually finished with a better record then them that year. No way . The suns series was boring. The Bulls were up 2-0 then 3-1 . The best of the Bulls Finals was the first Jazz series. 2-2 series then in game 5 the Jazz was up by 16 and then the Bulls with Jordan having the flu pulled out game 5 . That was the best series

    Barkley was better during the regular season, it's why he won the MVP, However he and his team were knew to the finals and that pressure and were playing one of the greatest teams in history with the greatest player in history who also happened to be by far the greatest clutch player of all time. Sir Charles was THE man that season.

    MJ dropping 41 PPG in the 1993 Finals and he was wearing Jordan 8s which aren't exactly light on the feet. They felt heavy like the 6s. That's why he's the GOAT. It's pretty obvious people are obsessed with him, his shoes, or both.

    It's hindsight bias to say Jordan should have won this MVP. The Suns had the best record in the league at 62-20, which was the best in the league and won 9 more games compared to the previous season because they added Barkley to the roster. The Bulls went only 57-25, which wasn't even the best record in the East, and 10 less wins than the previous season. While the Sun were a pretty talented team, Pippen was pretty clearly better than any player that Barkley had and Michael had a really good supporting cast.
    Nothing against Jordan's season, he was the better player when it was all said and done, but it wouldn't say it was a clear snub with Barkley winning the regular season MVP. There were other worse snubs in NBA history like Iverson over Shaq in 2001.

      6"1 Trae Young scores an average of 30-ppg.
