The “seeds” you were referring to in 21:30 are called red rice. Some Chinese families like to mix stuff like red rice or brown rice into their white rice to add some more nutrients to the rice.
Another fantastic video Aidan, well done. Done that flight so many times, with Singapore, Malaysian(to KL) and Qantas. Singapore do offer a great product and service. Although heard earlier last year Economy food and drinks was not so good. Seems to be have come back to the pre pandemic standards. As I said earlier, it never ceases to amaze me how people go to all the trouble of going to the Airport, checkin bags, then never show up for the plane. Hopefully nothing sinister is all of their actions. Looking forward to the next video and trip report.
They should be financially penalised for delaying the flight unless they can provide a genuine reason for not actually boarding such as a sudden medical condition or other emergency.

After being a loyal qantas customer for 15 years I have just booked Singapore Airlines for our regular family trip back to the UK. Just can’t justify qantas prices anymore considering the drop in quality of product.
Nice video, good content. However, your sound quality needs some work on, there was too much background noise. It might be worth investing in a wireless microphone?
Like all airlines Y class standards have declined over the years. Nevertheless SQ is highly rated here in Europe and continues to win award after award.
@@jjjddd231have flown them for many years and do feel that standards have dropped and after covid knockdowns they seem to have worsen maybe they no longer have the best crew and have to settle for lower standards as can tell the service level is declined
@@jjjddd231 much better than emirates believe me their business class its really good Emirates economy food is shit really shit its all indian choices and you cant even touch it I think emirates is over rated qatar its ok but I think Qatar economy its much better than Emirates
SIA is the best in economy and business I have flown both this year.... far better than Qantas and well Changi alongside jewel and the crown Plaza are by far the best
Hey I think they're just for motion detection - I seem to recall when you wave your hand near it, the centre button lights up for you to press to bring up the screen again after it's gone to sleep. Might be wrong tho

I have flown this route before but yeah one thing i dont like is the ear phones for the entertainment is pretty poor on Singapore Airlines Economy. Its different from Cathay Pacific which gives you better headsets.
how was the flight from one to ten? Did they have excellent customer service and dining? Did you check in a bag? Were they strict with the checked and carry on bag weight.
very good condition perfect with Singapore airlines A380-800 from Singapore to Auckland return over 10 hours think mixed Boeing 777-300ER or 787-9 or 787-10 winter only but A380-800 summer month every year yeah I was there with lufthansa airlines and British Airways and Singapore Airlines A380-800 x3 for me hugs great thanks for you watch TH-cam 🎉😊 wish cheers 🍻 👏 ✌ 😀

Over a decade ago I had several severe disappointments with SQ and put them on my "avoid wherever possible" list. Perhaps it's time for another try.
I think they are over-rated and I find the middle eastern carriers a much more attractive proposition for getting to Europe from Australia.
