Excellent trip report. I did a similar route and uploaded that a few days ago if you’d like to check that out. On a side note, SQ231 is (in my opinion) the best option to Sydney. A388 and two meal services (as opposed to SQ221 which has only 1 meal service). Also, prime arrival time in Sydney. Hope you had a great time in Sydney! Regards, Nilesh
@@Biyajimenez My A380 flight on SQ from Frankfurt was 11hr and 35min basically the same as LH and I was in Premium Economy. Hopefully soon we could see European Airlines flying again to the Philippines.
Think the comparison to Cathay on number of meals is unfair as flight time from Hong Kong is about 2 hours more. With a similar flight time of slightly less than 10 hours from Singapore to Auckland, New Zealand, SQ also serves 2 meals.
My favorite airline in the entire universe 😊. No airline can come close to SQ in my opinion. The service is next level even on economy flyer like myself. The food is always on point. The layover at Changi is always preferable 😊. Hopefully, i could also try their A380 being the first one to operate it.
Yung last uwi ko from Pinas to Aus, ito rin flight ko. A380 rin for the experience. Haha. Unfortunately, our flight was super delayed. We were all inside the plane waiting because the aircraft had technical issues, like mga 2:30am na kami naka alis ng Changi but we still made it on time in Sydney. Will fly them again. Awesome review btw
Can you actually lean to the side and rest your head to sleep ? Meaning to rest the head againts the fuselage. I see the gap is like quite big as compared to the 777 or A350
For this specific route, I prefer flying SQ for the overall experience, but I don’t mind flying direct from Manila to Sydney with Qantas on their A330. 😊
I actually flew Japan Airlines to New York early last year, but unfortunately, I wasn’t filming my trips yet. Planning a trip to the West Coast hopefully by next year, and I’ll make sure to film that one!

Thanks brother! Will check it out. ✈️
Took the SQ A380 flight some months ago from Frankfurt to Singapore it was really good 👍.
Glad you had a great experience with SQ. Thanks for watching, Dennis.

How was your flight with SQ? 😊

3:24 9V = NINER VICTOR, not NINE VICTOR. In aviation industry, 9 called NINER, not NINE. Due to the same sound as "NO" in German (NEIN).
Want to fly to Australia 🇦🇺 😊😮

Oh no sorry about the delay, at least you still made it safe and on time!
Thanks for watching, Tin ✈️💙

SQ economy is one of the best economy - service is generally good, and toilets are somewhat maintained by crew on long hauls.
botany bay i used go fishing there and (well my parents) and me and me and my friends all plane spotted
love that there are sanitary pads in the lavatory 😭
Took this flight in Feb 2024. I really enjoy flying SQ. 😁
Thanks for watching, JP!
Hi we will have the same flight numbers next month how do we know the terminal of our connecting to Sydney or is it always terminal 3 ? Thank you
Hi! It should be indicated in your e-ticket, under the flight time. Safe travels!
@@Biyajimenez thank you ! great vids btw
Do we get the 2 boarding passes here in Manila ? Manila to sg and sg to Syd po?
Yes! 😊
The boarding gate number won’t be indicated yet but you can check the departures board when you arrive at Changi Airport.
@@Biyajimenez maraming slamat nice vids
Maybe you can also review Chinese airlines (like China Southern) flying from Manila to Sydney?
Hmmm… I haven't reviewed PAL and CEB for this route yet, so those two will definitely be the priority. 😃
Code share with Star Alliance i.e Air India/China/Shenzhen means you get some real characters
Hi again ikaw po nag choose ng seat? di ko po ata na include seat sa ticket nana makakuha ng forward seat hehe
Yes you can change your seats after checking in via the app at least 48 hours before your flight :)
Hi, do you prefer Singapore airlines or Qantas for SIN-SYD? Ta
I definitely prefer Singapore Airlines when travelling to Australia and New Zealand.
For this specific route, I prefer flying SQ for the overall experience, but I don’t mind flying direct from Manila to Sydney with Qantas on their A330. 😊
Nice
Qantas? Lol will rather use scoot than Qantas
@@Jjbiscuit I keep seeing such negativity for Qantas, got me worry and kept avoiding it even if it is cheaper of the same route. Same as BA too...
only pizza and breakfast for meals?
Yup, that’s basically it! Instant noodles is available on-demand tho.
Why limit yourself to Asian and Australian destinations? What about Northern America? Why not fly to LAX, JFK, ATL, YYZ, YVR, SEA etc?
I actually flew Japan Airlines to New York early last year, but unfortunately, I wasn’t filming my trips yet. Planning a trip to the West Coast hopefully by next year, and I’ll make sure to film that one!
Sadly, Airbus A380 is my Least favorite Aircraft model with Singapore Airlines. I prefer Airbus A350s instead.
Hahahahahahhahahahaha Cathay Pacific
