I wont speak of the Value or cost but I flew to Singapore on an A350 from LA in business class and back in Premium economy. I found the lay flat seat good and slept so so but on the way back in the PE seat I slept really good :) for the long flight to LA i feel asleep after the food and woke up with 3 hours to go .. so I did find the PE seat very comfortable
i flew business from melb to amsterdam on emirates business and PE on the way back. I agree, the PE seats are pretty darn good. Definitely not lay flat seat but good enough!
I think it’s worth it. I flew JFK-SIN back in 2021 en route to Bali. It’s a wider seat, more recline and more leg room. I had a solo seat. I have a knee injury, so it still isn’t enough to not cause knee stiffness and discomfort. Only business class seems to eliminate those issues for me.
Cant wait to fly on this airline. I am told they have great service. My flight is 19 hours JFK to Singapore so I upgraded for comfort. I fly long distance alot and I just can't take regular anymore. Free WIFI? Yeah I am gonna like this.
I just flew premium LHR to SYD and thought it was great. You get that little bit more space but makes the journey so much more comfortable. A less packed cabin was a small extra positive. Id definitely use it again however wouldn’t pay more than £500 on top of economy. Otherwise its starts creeping into the not worth it and book extra legroom seats
A practical question: the first row of PE, the armrests in the middle, are the armrests "fix" like al the other, or can you lever them, like in regular economy? (question for travelling with small child)
I’m booked with premium economy Cape Town to Bali next March, only after booking did l notice the leg of Singapore to Bali is just regular economy and not PE, l feel cheated as l booked all the way through on PE. I’m hoping my trip will be ok as Singapore Airlines disappointed me when they abandoned me in Bali during Covid and did not contact me to say my flight was canceled.
Who cares about getting on to a plane first! Premium economy should absolutely come with lounge access you’re paying more than double the cost for the ticket as economy and you’re getting 10% more seat and legroom and slightly better. Food should absolutely come with lounge access.
I flew NYC to BKK on Singapore Airlines Premium Economy (via Singapore) on March 6th, 2024. Very disappointing. It is basically an economy experience with better seats. The food was nothing exceptional (economy style food), no water in the sink bathrooms at the back of the plane to wash your hands, my TV display stopped working 4 hours into the 19 hour flight, I paid extra for a exit seat, but the seat was cramped and no storage room. Nobody could access the internet because of a server error, eventually I got access through a free voucher the head flight attendant gave me (after asking, and asking, and asking). The onboard staff were fine, but more focused on getting everyone asleep so they would have nothing to do. I have traveled Premium on United, Delta and Emirates, Singapore was such a let down. Their product is NOT recommended, overpriced and nothing special.
Sorry. We have just traveled Singapore Airlines Premium Economy Auckland, Singapore, Munich. I don't believe it was worth the extra. Checkin Boarding and disembarkation was ok. Meals where great.inflight entertainment w was great. The cabin cree where ok but there orgaisation and management of meal and drinks was not good. The wine selection is very poor.
Not worth it, flew London to Australia, food awful, had to ask for the can of coke after they only poured a bit out and took the rest away ice cream was frozen solid, unable to eat until it defrosted. Never given an amenity bag, you have to ask but not offered one. For nearly double the price of economy not worth it
I won’t ever fly economy again in my life l promised myself that, l booked a flight to Bali on PE for more comfort l hope it’s going to be an improvement.

This isn't a review. It's an advertisement for Singapore Airlines.
True, but still informative, if one is comparing. We have flown with them in PE SYD-FRA and SYD-DUS return twice and it was excellent.

its fixed. you can not lever them.
The diagram mixed up seat pitch from width.
i just booked JFK to BKK and the difference in price was only $120 for premium. $1080 for econ and $1200 for premium, definitely worth it i hope
Let me see you did the one via Frankfurt if you want the Non-Stop SQ23 or EWR version SQ21 you would be paying $1,200 for Premium economy in advance
I am ok to pay bit more for PE and don’t need extra choice food, amenities etc but would rather have bigger seat with more recline.
if you're not too tall, then for a long haul, this can be worth it if you can't afford business. for medium or shorter, it's not worth the money
Excellent overview in some routes it's only the default class when economy is chosen for example Newark to Manila on SQ21 to SQ918

Do you remember what time lunch and breakfast was served ?
Don’t do it. The seat is too narrow for paying double the price from economy. I felt cramped
I like Singapore airlines ❤

I just want a good chair and plenty of legspace with my 2.00 meter length
Either economy or business. Dont waste time on premium economy. Just excuse to charge you alot more for a bit more.

I’m Chinese and I don’t understand a single word he’s saying
No not worth it based on the competition,777 I flew on are very tired, try Cathay or the best Emirates
Verry bad premium economy services
It’s not worth it….
Your info isn’t not even accurate. SQ economy alao metal fork spoon
Waste of money
Do u only sit on economy?
I won’t ever fly economy again in my life l promised myself that, l booked a flight to Bali on PE for more comfort l hope it’s going to be an improvement.
Singapore Airlines Premium Economy is a very poor product and absolutely NOT worth the price
