Hi guys! In today’s session we’re working both on and off the ball to improve our acceleration, deceleration, change of direction and overall football fitness. The cones I used are 8 wide steps apart between each corner, with one cone in the middle (use shoes, socks, water bottles if you don’t have cones). Complete each exercise 4 times, 2 in each direction, resting for 30 seconds to a minute between each one. Fitness is such a underlooked fundamental…if you don’t have it you can’t play at any level in football , it improves performance because when your tired u make more mistakes…excellent video Mike👏
i dont think so, Fitness is one of the hardest things to work on and nail and you have to consistently be working on it, even a two week break away from any fitness exercises will see your fitness level go down quite a bit. Its basically a slow climb to building cardio and stamina and a steep drop!
@@jonneymendoza nah bro one week of not doing fitness u feel instantly , it takes so long to build and it’s so easy to lose , once u get there tho It’s a lot easier to maintain it than build it again…I agree it’s incredibly hard but footballers are all athletes at the end of the day

Michael, whenever I get the ball my instinct is to pass it, with as little touches as possible. This happens even when I have open space and I should dribble or when ther is no pass lane and I should feint or move around. These ideas never come to me at the moment. How can I improve this on my own?
