    I always wanted to try panning so I just bought a beginner kit. My family owns property up in elysburg pa. We have a private stream miles long that connects to the Susquehanna looking forward to this upcoming weekend to give it a try! Thanks for the info and great videos man keep it up! 🤟

      Let us know how it goes! Avoid mud, dirt that’s packed full of rock is always good, but not straight up mud

    Erie county? U said elk creek i would think walnut would be just as good and how about Winter green gorge.
    That place was literally carved out by glacier if anywhere had gold.I would say when a green gorge would be a hell of a spot to check

    Have you actually found gold in the west branch of the Susquehanna river or just the mineralized rock you mentioned?

    • @pennsylvaniagoldhunter
      @pennsylvaniagoldhunter  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      West branch was a submission. But it’s confirmed gold is there. I personally like and stream or river running east & west vs north & south

    What are the laws with respect to creek access? Do you pan only on state land?

    • @pennsylvaniagoldhunter
      @pennsylvaniagoldhunter  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Private property is your best options. Treat it like you would hunting or fishing. Knock on the door of owners, be respectful. I usually give the owner a pan to keep as a thank you. If I’m renewing permission I get them a $10-$$15 gift card to Starbucks or something local

    I live in Bethlehem Pennsylvania, the Lehigh River runs practically in my back yard. Has there ever been any gold found around these parts? The Lehigh Valley Area???

    • @pennsylvaniagoldhunter
      @pennsylvaniagoldhunter  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s safe to say some gold can be found in every region of Pennsylvania but looking at the map, I would try the stretch between Allentown and Easton. This is where the river changes directions and more likely to leave a deposit of heavy material

    • @pennsylvaniagoldhunter

      Pan and sluice legal where you have permission to dig. Private land, state land but not game lands.
      Dredge isn’t permitted

      @@pennsylvaniagoldhuntercan you please make a video specifically on this topic, rules and regulations. Would make for great content and probably be most viewed video yet. Include everything from where its allowed to what is allowed. Including links for ppl to access themselves for protection or at least a screenshot of where to find the informatio. Also can include what is allowed with a permit and without. Guarantee it'll be most viewed.

    According to dcnr you, that's the Department conservation of natural resources. Prospecting the Delaware river is not allowed. Can't take anything like rocks, minerals, gold, out of the river and you absolutely can not dig the bank of the river what so ever. Sorry. I tried and called proper authorities first.
