- Trying my luck in a feeder stream. A large run off that flows into the main creek. As usual I add fun elements to the video and introduce some information on prospecting.

I never find anything but tiny flakes in northwestern Pennsylvania and up near Bradford, St. Mary’s, cooks Forest. I’ve seen more rattlesnakes in there than I have bears and coyotes. I go out on my motorcycle and I carry a small kit with boots, classifier, gold pan, small garden shovel, and a magnet for picking out magnetite. I’ll look for magnetite first before I start digging for gold. If there’s magnetite, then there could be gold..

I live in the Wilkes-Barre area of PA. I've been Intrested in prospecting for some time. I see you mentioned Tunkhannock Creek in you 9 creeks video. Have you ever searched there? I've looked into many of the creeks in my area but I've never found anything. I'm going to go up to the area of Tunkhannock creek called little rocky glen this weekend.

How did your trip go?
Well we went to an area named little rocky Glen on Tunkhannock creek for a bit and I didn't get anything out of panning except some small lead shotgun shot. I had contacted the organization that owns the area a few years ago an also got permission to metal detect so I quickly turned over to that. I did come home with a silver mercury dime from 1941. I also brought home 2 5gallon buckets of gravel I plan to classify and pan out hopefully Sunday. I'll let you know how it "pans out".

Hi thanks for getting back to me we did go yesterday problem was the GPS messed up we drove over 4 hours got there the bridge was out shop Fox on that little light somebody show we didn't find any gold put the kid in the dog had the best time God only knows I didn't know my dog to swim we think the dog had more fun than any of us needless to say need to find one closer to home we looked up we was almost at Blue Mountain if you know what that is I really think I want to find the Susquehanna one I like the big rock I want to look at the rocks or boulders I can find gold thanks again Kim from Pennsauken New Jersey

I’m currently putting together a Halloween special for the next episode. Because I want to deliver a great gold reveal, it will require a few weeks of collecting the dirt at the creek, so my next video will be Halloween weekend 😎
My son just bought me a gold cube and a water pump that you attach to a battery. I’m not gonna be able to haul that on my motorcycle, but if I find a place with lots of color in the pan when I’m out sniffing around on my motorcycle in North west Pennsylvania, I’ll just have to haul my equipment and a couple fully charged car batteries to the site with my truck..
Funny thing is, with the gold I find, I never want to sell it, I just want to keep it and get more and more
No, the cube is best for a home set up. Classify material at the creek and bring the paydirt home to run

Video making and editing is a hobby I like to do and been making little short clips with the kiddos for a couple years, glad i get to incorporate the 2 hobbies. No matter the video material, all the gold is legit and found where I show I dig.

No I don’t, the areas are usually riddled with random metal anyway and the gold is typically too small. But metal detecting for its own sake is fun!
