- A couple things you might notice. I don’t like the forward slope of the seat, so I was experimenting to try and raise the front. The seat adjuster piece has felt Velcro adhesive pieces where it contacts the bike. The bike also has the same Velcro cloth. It might have helped a little, but I am not absolutely sure. I was reading online where people were using washers as spacers to try and raise the front of the seat.
The other thing you might notice is that rubber spacer that is installed when the seat is in the low position has been modified. I cut the lower part off to see if I could experiment with inserting the seat stab in either position of my choosing. That was a failed attempt at modifying the seat slope, but I didn’t harm anything apparently.

Got the Yamaha dealer to make 2 plates that raised the height by 8mm in the front section, thus cancelling out the "sporty slope".
Then, raised rhe handlebar with aftermarket raisers so the posture is more straight. Together, they worked pure magic. No more backaches, hand tingling & acrobatics

do you find it more comfy on higher setting ??....am on lower and its abit uncomfortable
@@anthonyburney3986 I do. I have a Corbin on now though. I gave up on the stock seat. The Corbin is a little better. I was hoping for better comfort and less sliding forward. It was somewhat disappointing, but still better than stock.

i find the slope on the seat makes it abit uncomfortable...if the seat was on higher setting would it be more comfy ??
A little more I seem to remember. I don’t have the stock seat anymore. I bought a Corbin. It’s better, but I still have the slope issue. One tip - when slowing suddenly squeeze the gas tank with your knees. I was surprised how much that helped me not slide foreword as much.

Can you adjust the seat on a lower position that the original?
Just two positions I know of.
Just out of curiosity, did you try attaching the 2 rubber bushings that are located under the front seat to the front seat itself? The are 2 rubber bushings attach to to the 2 holes in front of the seat. Those bushing are in the compartment under the seat.

No, there is no adjusts to the rear seat that I am aware of.
