If your country has Mitsubishi Gallant, go for that.. because its essentially an Evo, but with slightly lower specs.. they're pretty much got shadowed by the Evos, so if you want an Evo alternative, get a Gallant. The next one is the Nissan Cefiro.. its just a normal sedan.. but if you're lucky, some of the models have a RB30 engine.. so kinda like a cheap skyline for family use
another thing you can talk abouut is bargain vintage. and the best one if you ask me (a total Volvo nerd) is the Volvo that doesn't look like a Volvo. the Volvo 1800. they came in a couple different flavors depending on the model year, there is the P1800 1961-1962) which the body was put together by the Jensen factory. probably the best looking out of the Cupé variants due to its really nice bumpers. then there is the best of the cupé variants, the 1800S 1963-1969). doubble carburettors, reliable due to being built in sweden instead of the UK, looks amazing and drives amazing even tho it doesn't have much power. next one on the list is the one that is the most fun to drive named the 1800E. more power, direct injected (1970-1972), still amazing to look at and the last of the Cupé variants. lastly do we have the rare one, the 1800ES (1972-1973), it is a shooting brake and there have been more Lamborghini Huracan built than there were 1800ES built. only 8077 rolled off the production line about 50 years ago which means that these cars are impressively rare, but take into account how affordable these are for how rare they are would I put them as one of the biggest bargain vintage cars ever. and I own one
