Sorry for the late reply! In Part 1 you can see how I removed everything in the options menu - 0 towns, states, etc. and regen'd the map. You can also just go to the tools menu and regenerate each aspect individually, and it will do so according to the settings from the options menu
The map automatically matches the entire image to fit your whole screen. A good way to fix this is to add white-space around your original image, like to expand the borders and shrink the image. When you upload it, Azgaar's will take in all the extra space. So sorry for the delay in response!
If by uploading, you mean for the heightmap image converter, it should take any visual format like jpg or png. If you mean to upload a direct file into the program (and not image converting), it needs to be a .map file
Hello, I've got a question for you. Do you know how to make a lake please ? I understand how to make a river, but I can't find out how to make a new lake, I'm pretty desesperate... Thank you
Apologies for the delay. Unlike Rivers that have their own tool, lakes are made via the heightmap. Simply go into heightmap editing and decrease the height of some land which will eventually put it below sea level and therefore will become a lake.
That is odd, unless you are using a much earlier version. I would recommend asking in the discord and posting screenshots, as there is very little I can do for this kind of issue in the comments.
Hovering over the different buttons will usually reveal a tooltip at the bottom of your screen briefly explaining what they do. Otherwise, best way to learn is to try them all anyway.
My biggest gripes, no mountains to be generated. Like, they just don't exist it's either grassland or immediately into glaciers and it's really aggravating. No undo button, This is a literal save everything you do or get fucked like I just did. it's a great free tool but holy cow the complexity that causes frustration is beyond me.
That sounds like a bug, that or your map has a lot of water on it as it is. The map should cover the entire globe if the Configure World option is set to 100% - so if your current map (regular view) is half water, the globe will likewise still have a large amount of water.
@@IsBepis It shows how is in the world but it doesnt show you how to make it smaller to see if it fits in a small lake. Also how do you split an island into multiple smaller islands.
@@enriquemunoz2314 The image-converter will take the entire image that you have, so if you have an island filling the entire picture, it will look large when you convert it over. You'll need spacing within the image to make it smaller by comparison. If you just want to edit the landform further, refer to part 1 of my tutorials to see how you edit the heightmap. I hope that explains, but it is hard to tell what you are asking, apologies.

Thanks for the tip on setting the world size to 100, was looking for an easy way to generate a globe for my worldbuilding project

Is there a way to avoid half the globe being empty water? Even in 100% it leaves half the globe empty.

There is both a save and export button at the bottom of the menu for extracting your map by various means
